Went into the store to purchase a fan. The box was closed with two strips of tape and they refused to open it up for me because they said it was their policy that if the box was open, I would have to buy it and could not return it. Neither of them could find the measurements on the box or anywhere else. I asked whether since they worked in a hardware store, they might be able to figure out how to put two more strips of tape back on the box if I ended up not purchasing the item. They clearly did not care at all. Terrible customer service completely unhelpful will never shop here again.

Francesco and his team transformed our apartment into something that exceeded our expectations.They worked through a blizzard, freezing rain and sub-zero temperatures and still gave us daily updates AND completed the job on time, including immaculate clean up. BRAVO. Francesco has an artist's eye for detail and perfection. He's also incredibly patient as we went through several color changes, one of them at literally the last minute-- and it didn't seem to phase him. He was completely professional throughout, and keeps a sense of humor and calmness which really helps when you're moving. We really appreciate Francesco's honesty. We wanted something "different" in the bathroom and had purchased wallpaper. Francesco explained the reasons he thought the paper was a bad idea, but wasn't critical. After researching the matter we discovered Francesco was totally right on. The paper would have been problematic down the line. Best of all, he came up with the perfect solution - a beautiful glaze! It covers the entire room including the ceiling and looks like designer wallpaper. The details are amazing! (see photo) . Needless to say, we can't wait to bring him back for our next project. I knew he was going to be the contractor I chose because, when I told him I was looking for something Rustic Tuscan, he immediately said, Well there are three ways of achieving that effect---sponge technique, sandbrushing technique, and Venetian plaster. He listed the relative costs as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each. Next time we met (maybe two or three days later), he showed up with large samples of each technique with a couple different color options and variations. I liked that Francesco was always on time and made it a point to be helpful, professional, and polite during every interaction. Things continued to run smoothly as insurance certificates were provided and work began. Any time there was an unexpected issue---such as a pipe in a surprising place that would affect the placement of a mirror cabinet---Francesco would call to let me know and we would meet. He was very self-sufficient and completed the work at a good pace. Francesco applied Venetian plaster---one shade of yellow in the living room and a different shade of yellow in the bedroom, hallway, and foyer. He painted the bathroom and kitchen with semi-gloss celery green paint. In the bathroom, he repaired a water-damaged ceiling, took out an old and ailing mirror, rebuilt some of the wall as necessary, and installed a new beautiful mirror/medicine cabinet and light fixture. I told him before the job started that I wanted those Venetian plaster walls to look like a work of art. Francesco met and exceeded those high expectations. I believe Francesco is already in high demand and foresee him being in only higher demand in the very near future. We are probably catching what will soon be a very renowned interior painter/craftsman early in his career.

We hired Anthony to do crown molding, wainscoting, and some data cabling. When cuts weren't perfect he'd measure and cut again. When seams weren't super smooth he'd lean into it until it was seamless. We were rushing to get the work done before our daughter arrived so Anthony and his team worked late and worked hard to get it done and get us back to a clean house.
