On moving day, I emailed additional instructions because I would be unavailable by phone. I provided my partner's contact information and specifically requested that all garage items be packed and moved. Daniel Rios confirmed that everything was received and that the movers would contact my partner before leaving the house. Around 11 a.m., my move-out cleaning crew informed me that a substantial amount of property was still in the house. My partner had not received the load-up call, and I had not received any updates from Evolution. After I contacted the company, I was told only a few open boxes had been left behind. When my partner arrived at the new apartment later that afternoon, the garage contents were missing and fewer items had been delivered than expected. The crew stated they had not been instructed to move anything else. When I contacted Evolution again, I was told there had been a misunderstanding. I was then offered a separate two-person crew to complete the move, but only as a new move with additional charges. When I arrived at the apartment that evening, I discovered that the dining room, kitchen boxes, and entire garage had never been moved. My friends and I ended up completing the move ourselves. It took three days and six truckloads. Afterward, I found that beds had been placed in the wrong rooms and not assembled, furniture had been left partially disassembled, room-labeled boxes had been piled in the kitchen, furniture had been scratched, and the hardware for my son's bed was missing. Justin Rodriguez later located the missing screws in the back of the truck, though some were badly bent. I emailed Daniel seeking a response and he replied with a completely ai-generated email blaming me for the misunderstanding. To Justin's credit, he came to my apartment on his day off to help move furniture into the correct rooms and assemble it. Throughout this entire process, he was the only person who consistently communicated with me and attempted to help resolve the situation. What ultimately disappointed me most was the lack of accountability. I repeatedly had to initiate communication myself, and after the move I called the owner every day for a week and left a voicemail seeking a resolution. My calls were never returned. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Evolution Moving.

He fell and dropped several of our boxes marked clearly as "fragile". They claimed they were able to take apart and put our sleep number bed together. They took it apart but were not able to put it back together. I called several times to get help for the money I paid to fix the bed and the broken items and they refused to call me back. However, my experience with YSP has been an exception to the latter. Ever since the first phone call when I set up my first two units with YSP, the staff has been exceptional in their help, advice and flexibility. I am now renting unit number five from them in my preparation to move abroad once again. They have always acted in ways that serve my best interests rather than only being concerned with their own needs as I have found other storage facilities often do. They are willing to go the extra mile to insure I want to use continue to use their facility. In my history with other storage facilities, the reverse of this attitude has often been my experience with the facility operators usually threatening the fact that they have waiting lists, yada, yada, yada. Almost forgot to mention that payments are done online and are easy to make. You really won't regret using Your Storage Place. Elray and Bill are tops in customer service and satisfaction. If there had been 20 stars, I would have given them that rating!!
