My husband and I were in Kingston for one night en route to Montréal. We decided to go to One Eyed Jack for wings for dinner. We were seated immediately and our waitress came over within a few minutes. We ordered a bottle of sparkling rosé from the menu, but unfortunately they didn't have that one. The waitress was kind enough to offer us a different rosé, but we decided to go for a prosecco instead. Our only complaint is that we didn't get an ice bucket or any way to keep it cool when it was so hot and sunny outside on the patio. Regardless, we enjoyed it. My husband had the Mexican hot wings, which had a dry rub. They were crispy and very tasty with a little bit of heat. I had the chipotle bbq wings, which had a sauce and were very juicy and tasty with a little heat also. We both really enjoyed them. The waitress was very friendly and service was good. Real nice place. Ordered Steak and Lobster Tail for dinner late. Everything was good except the lobster was WAY OVERCOOKED. Couldn't even get the lobster out of the shell. Very expensive meal. Had a Belgium Moon and a double Grey Goose on the rocks. The Vodka house rules will give you only one shot at a time. Will not be going back. They did take $8.00 off the bill. read more

One Eyed Jack is a nice classic Bar and Grill. It seemed to be quite popular even on a Tuesday Night (it was wings night). The place was packed by 19:00 or so. Lots of parking and seating 50-100+ in booth, bar, and other configurations. It so happens that this local establishment has contracted a show magician (until end of 2025) that makes his (Rob) rounds through the tables every Tuesday. The service was ok, it felt like there was not enough servers for the amount of tables, but they were training new workers so hope this was a one-off. All the mains came out about 30-40 min after ordering but it was odd that the salad was last to come while the other food was ready. We did order a calamari and a set of wings with different flavors, those were out within 10-15 min after the drinks. The dry rub as well as the sauces were all great. Drinks were out within 5 mins being a bar and grill it, it wasn't a long wait at all. I had the Blackened Fish Taco (3 pcs): Blackened haddock on fired flour tortillas with sour cream, taco slaw and lime avocado crema for 18. For the price, it was great portions and food. Although next time I'll go for the fish and chips. The blackened fish wasn't very well seasoned and was quite dry, it was fresh though and not fishy. Lastly, we had their Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, it feels like either the Cheesecake Factory changed its ingredients or quality, but it was a bit disappointing; however, the portion was pretty good. This isn't really against the franchise, but maybe try something else for dessert. All in all, its a great place to host many people, easy to get to without a lot of traffic issues, near the highway AND the bar style food is great. read more

Menu is massive. All over the place with its cuisine options. Does this restaurant operation know what it is or what it wants to be? More on that later. Service was really slow, like excessively slow for 4pm on a Sunday. Took way too long to get us our 2 drinks. Food was also too long for simple pad thai. I get the shepherds pie may have been the cause of the food delay, but letting us know that would have been nice. Also follow up on our drinks while waiting for food would have also been nice. Service was weak at best. When we received service, staff were kind and courteous. Once food arrived, it was really good although I returned the congealed balsamic vinaigrette dressing for ranch. Not a fan of the tiny plastic containers the salad dressing is served in. That food quality is the only reason why this review is not a 2/5. And the restaurant was clean and inviting. Back to what does this restaurant want to be. The drink menu that remains on the table has a large number of shooters listed that include names like orgasm, sex on the beach, blow job and muff diver. Are those really appropriate for a restaurant that has a kids menu? No. Those names should be reserved for a nightclub. Names of most shooters are not really relevant to the booze/mix they contain. Here is a fun idea- make the names about your restaurant theme. Oh right, you don't have one cause your menu is all over the place. We may give them a second chance this summer but there are many mid-range restaurants with better service and clearer identity. read more

We stopped over while driving between Toronto and Montreal; a convenient location just off the 401. It's a busy sports bar, with a big menu, with huge portions at very affordable prices. Food quality is a bit hit and miss; the chicken in the pineapple chicken salad was dry, the baked potato in the souvlaki was more roasted than baked; but both the chicken, and the steak and mushroom pies were great. It certainly is not gourmand, but serves well as a pitstop. read more

Just returned from One Eyed Jack restaurant in Kingston. It was our first visit there. I ordered chicken souvlaki. Our other 5 guests received their lunch. I waited 10 minutes for mine. Another one of our guests also had the chicken souvlaki. Hers arrived at the same time as everyone else's, but mine did not. What was the holdup. The host came and said it would be 'just a few more minutes'. The waitress came and said 'it's coming'. After watching everyone else enjoy their meal, mine finally arrived. The chicken was dry; overcooked and hard. I could not put my knife through the pieces. It was like eating reheated food from yesterday. Everyone had to wait for me to finish my meal.....which I didn't....or should I say couldn't. Last visit. No thanks. read more

I have visited many times, and the number one reason I continue to go, for dinner, lunch, and just for drinks, is the gentleman I believe is the Manager. He brings the energy, the vibe, and makes the customer feel special. Give the man a raise! read more

I thought they would have have taken my food off of the bill after they took it away considering i barely ate but no! the manager came over and offered to make me a new one which i politely declined because i was grossed out and my friends were already done. he then made some excuse about how the hair was not cooked with the food?? i don't know how that helps. paid 30$ for a hair and two bites of my meal. won't be back read more

An extensive menu. More options than you normally see. Great food. I had the lobster penne and would order it again. My son had the smash burger and left me wishing I had ordered it despite my meal being great. My wife had a chicken curry meal that I sampled and although I am not a curry guy I found it good enough to order for myself. Respectable portion sizes. Decent service despite the fact that they were packed at 6:30pm on a Tuesday. Prices were mid-range (I paid $22 more my main). If I had a complaint it would be that they have packed a lot of seating into the available space. Booths were small. Parking space was limited. We will definitely visit this place again.
