I hope Tanika loves working at Beercode #6228, the cozy little spot in Terminal A of the ATL airport. Because if I ever need an employee/leader like her, I'm coming to ATL to get her! Beercode, I am not sure you know how lucky you! If all the reviews have not hipped you, than nothing will. But at least here's one more review to solidify what I think so many are saying! Hands-down Tanika delivered one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a very long time. Even before I made it to the counter, I was already being greeted with menu in hand, all while she was still handling drinks for other customers. Where in 2026 do you see that kind of awareness and multitasking ... not too many places! So needless to say, I was impressed right off the bat! Although the crowd was very steady, she never missed a step! Composure, efficiency, and engagement all wrapped up in one really made this place about the service she was providing more than the beer or the food, (although the beer was good too)! I did not have a chance to order food, but it could have come to the table burnt to a crisp and Tanika would have made me feel like that was the best burnt crispy meal I've ever eaten. Thanks for letting me know that there are still a few of us who believe in the "golden era" of hospitality and customer service, it's just too easy to be a great host, server, bartender, etc. to make sure your guests are having the kind of experience that makes them want to return! I loved that I didn't feel rushed or overlooked, but actually valued! Was looking for food late at night and pretty much everything in the airport was closing, but we walked by Beercode Kitchen & Bar and saw they were still open. Unfortunately, Tanika (the bartender) told us they were only serving fish and chips. Not what I was craving, but she insisted it was fantastic... And she was absolutely right. Some of the best food I've had at this airport (granted, the airport standard isn't super high). I will say Tanika made the experience, you could tell everyone loved her energy, people knew her by name, and she made the whole place feel welcoming. The bartender/waitress, Camile, is phenomenal. She's incredibly friendly and full of energy, bringing an amazing vibe and fun atmosphere to this tiny hole in a hall joint. At 9am, she jokingly tried to get people to take shots or order cocktails. Just such a delight! You'll sit around the bar and smile. I had the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and hash browns and a mimosa. Super tasty! Would definitely reorder and the portion size was great. It's tucked away at the end of Terminal A near gate 1. this was the worst experience as of 7:28 pm on 7/1 July. The waitress charged me twice the amount of consume I did and on top of that put pressure on me to get her a TIP while she "fixed" the thing. I initially said no but she keep asking if I was going to leave it blank for the tip as I did not do it. worst experience I ever felt in an airport. I had a bit of time to kill before my next flight and none of the menus were really getting to me. I noticed Yelp didn't have a menu posted so I decided to stop by. Starting with a double shot cranberry vodka it was simple and perfect. And I wasn't too hungry but I still wanted something to snack on Que the BC bang shrimp. I loved these light, crispy an amazing touch with the mayo and the edamame just added a great contrast with the crunchy shrimp. This small establishment feels like the local bar you can take a load off and have a nice beer and meal. My server ( will insert name when I find my receipt) was phenomenal juggling multiple customers all while keeping the vibe of the place going. What a great find! End of terminal A. We popped in during a layover needing breakfast on Saturday, 2/22/25 around 8:30am. Tanika took great care of us. She was attentive, friendly and made a great Bloody Mary. I neglected to take pictures of our breakfast - which is a shame. He had the avocado toast with scrambled eggs, Tanika asked HOW HE WANTED HIS EGGS COOKED. You mean to tell me the food is cooked to order!? Unheard of in most airport restaurants. It had half an avocado, some lightly dressed arugula, and tomato. It was so pretty! And it was served with hash browns. I had the prosciutto and brie omelette, it was delicious. The hash browns and toast were tasty too! The food was reasonably priced, but you know the price of the drinks more than made up for that.
