Horrible job. Decided on a dark frame with gold dry brush on Thursday during lunch for a tiger painting because I figured the gold will nicely accentuate the yellow tiger stripes. When I picked it up on Friday, he showed me the finished product with a red/brown frame. This is to be a gift on Sunday. The best they could do was either offer $20 off the price or pick it up on Tuesday. Never using this place again. Now it looks like I stole it from some Chinese government office. I use this place for my work often. I am always in a time crunch and sometimes need to ask for odd requests. Waseem is very knowledgable, always knows exactly what it is I'm talking about and is very to the point in helping me make it work, which is always appreciated due to my time constraints. The framing is fine but the owner is not an honorable man. I just got back from his shop with my second order in a month (this was for three signed posters and 4 a few weeks ago, almost $1000 in business.) He charged my card, before I was able to inspect the work, when he said he would not do. When I challenged him on this he started yelling at me and tried to throw me out of the store. There are plenty of good frame shops in this city, I would think that most of them are owned and run by honest, respectful people. This one is not and I will not be back. read more

Waseem was very friendly and accommodating at One Hour Framing. I had a very intricate basketball jersey framing project on which I was quoted prices of over $300 in other frame shops in NYC. After having almost given up, I called Waseem and was told to bring it in and he would give me a fair price. The work was done beautifully and for about $100. This was a great price and they even offered to have it done the same day. Most frame shops, like the ones in malls, send the work out to get framed. One Hour Framing does all the work on-site and have a huge selection of frames, borders, backgrounds, wood moldings, metal frames, etc, etc, etc. Give them a shot, you will be pleasantly surprised! read more

I recently had a great experience here framing a poster. I was given a poster of Manhattan as a gift over Christmas and the gift-giver was coming to stay with me for the weekend so I needed to hang this on the wall ASAP. I took the poster to One Hour Framing and was quoted a price half of what I had been quoted at a framer downtown ($60 vs. $120). The employee who helped me, maybe Waseem?, was SO friendly and they were able to have my poster framed and ready to go within 24 hours. Great service and prices. I love this shop. I've come here a bunch of times and have always been very pleased. I've given many away as gifts and they are a huge hit! I recently had a small print done here and it was a fast turnaround and an excellent job. I paid $70 total but chose a pricier frame and double matting. I took it to a few other places that were giving me their "cheapest" price and single matting and it was nearly $100!!! I'm not sure about the 1 hour framing name either, but the price and quality you really can not beat. They give great recommendations for first time framers who are clueless and are very forthcoming about their prices. Wouldn't recommend any other framing store above this one! read more

We recently purchased some simple framed posters online and, unsurprisingly, the quality wasn't amazing. I took them into One Hour Framing (convenient location) to see if they could add some matting to the frames. On arrival, the gentleman in the shop did not hide his disdain for online ordering which is fine, however I felt like I was being 'told off', despite the fact that this was bringing him business. Turnaround time was excellent; they were ready the next day. The actual quality of the work was great - the posters now look really good. Value for money too - $10 per frame. The reason that I am scoring them low is for their customer service. When I came to pick up the frames I noticed some very large scratches across one of the frame's plastic 'glass'. I know that this was not present when I brought it in. I was informed very rudely that I obviously hadn't looked close enough initially and that it was there all along, therefore, not their fault. We debated this point for a few minutes before he begrudgingly changed the plastic 'glass'. Even as I left the shop he did not attempt to hide his displeasure and I was made to feel bad for taking business to his shop. Consequently, I won't be returning despite the excellent job they did as I believe I can receive better service elsewhere. read more

After receiving an estimate (on the phone and then in person), I called to schedule the pick up of my piece of art and was told that the estimate i was given was incorrect and it would be more more money than they had said. They ignored the fact that we had spoken twice and had an estimate in writing. I do NOT recommend using them as they are shady. read more

We used this location recently for the first time on a last-minute framing project we needed completed ASAP for a client. Not only were they very friendly and accommodating, the end result was just what we needed at a decent price. We ended up with a matted, wood-framed photo ready for hanging in only a couple of hours. We requested they send to us a picture of the project once it was ready so we could make sure it was good to go before we went to pick it up, and they had no problem sending. Terrible experience. They were very nice when I first ordered the frame and stretching of canvas but when they delivered the framed oil painting it was not framed properly (as most of the image was now covered) so I sent it back. Instead of reframing it, the owner CURSED loudly and hung up phone on me and removed canvas from frame then delivered canvas back to me UNFRAMED. I WOULD NOT RETURN TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND. read more
