Several years later I was informed that the replacement lights were no longer available which left me with the decision of having my tree restrung with new lights or buy a whole new tree. I was not happy with the attitude and service from where I bought the tree so I went to Ambrose. The restrung my tree with many more lights then it originally came with and it looks amazing. Best of all, after three years I have had to replace only two lights-that's two lights total after three years compared to replacing dozen(s) of lights each year from the garden center. This is my absolute favorite thrift store in all of Rockford area. The prices are always really reasonable, and regular sales mean you're often getting a deal on that. The woman who runs the store is just so sweet and so friendly, and even though there's usually some kind of Jesus radio playing in the background and I get the impression that she's really religious, she's the nice kind of Christian. I've been to other Christian thrift stores that feel uncomfortable, judgmental, and pushy but this place is just really professional and fun.
