I got a gel mani-pedi here and loved my time here! I got matching designs with my mom, and both Lily and Jessica were so kind and patient. Lily did our manicures and Jessica did our pedicures. They played music videos for us to watch on the TV and even chatted with us for a while! Would definitely recommend and come back! For the manicure- it was gel polish on natural nails. Two of my nails on my right hand were a bit shorter and lily made sure I knew that the designs may not be exactly the same since my nails were shorter. She made sure to consult with me in each step to make sure I was happy with my nails. She really took her time and helped me pick out the colors for the designs! I LOVE my nails and I got this over a week ago and it's still holding on strong for the most part. (Two of my natural nails broke but that was my fault as I was prying open a box and my nails were weak from a hot shower but other than that no lifting!) For the pedicure, Jessica also did a great job! She was super gentle and made sure to do a really clean job. If she got a bit of polish on my skin, she immediately wiped it away and made sure there was no residue left over. read more

I got my gel nails done here, just a single color. I think the person's name might be Hazel, and she works in her own room. I've been to a couple of nail shops before, but this was the first time no one asked me about the nail shape or length before starting. She just began right away, so I had to stop her and tell her my preferences. What really shocked me was the hygiene. She brushed off dust from my nails, but the brush released even more white powder -- which I'm pretty sure was nail dust from previous clients. I have no idea when her tools were last cleaned. While working, she caused a small cut on my finger. After finishing all the nails, she didn't clean up any of the gel overflow around the edges until I specifically asked her to. Of course, the price was very cheap, so I wasn't expecting much, but I didn't expect the quality to be this bad. Her skills weren't terrible, but her service was the worst I've experienced. read more

Started coming here when Cecilia moved to this location. I used to get my nails done by Cecilia in San Gabriel and I'm glad she's here cause it's so much more convenient and closer. She never lets me down and makes my vision come true. I usually tell her a color and sometimes like a photo and let her create and she is so good at it! She makes my nails so dreamy and beautiful. She takes her time and is very detailed and careful. Also let me just say my nails can go 2 months without cracking or breaking when I get them done by her. I think I am pretty picky and I usually don't trust anyone with these stuff and always stick with the person when they do a good job so I am glad I found Cecilia and she is so nice and patient. 10/10 recommend her! Found this nail salon on Yelp and decided to give it a try solely based on the photos posted. To my surprise, it's a Chinese run business - unlike the usual Vietnamese salons!! It was a nice change considering I've always only gone to Vietnamese establishments. Everyone was super friendly! I made a 4PM appointment just the day before through the Yelp messenger. The business owner promptly responded and I received a text confirmation of my appt. I was 5 mins late due to traffic and it wasn't a problem. Arrived and was seen promptly by Hazel. Hazel did such a wonderful job and helped me decide on removing my existing acrylic nails and replace with Gel-x press ons, which apparently are much better for the health of your nail beds. I've had Gel-x before but I have never experienced Gel-x this comfortable before! The previous times I've done Gel-x at other salons, they always either pinched my nail beds or were sore for at least the first 2 days of putting them on. Hazel was meticulous with the design and even accommodated extra gold detailing. The appointment all together took about 2 hours but only because we had to remove the acrylic and place a new Gel-x set. $15 acrylic removal $70 new Gelx set with design Will definitely be a returning customer. I honestly love the colors and how clean they paint my nails. However my second time here and I think they cut my skin around it too deep snd my toe hurt so bad for 3 days . I think it's because my left toe is ingrown so it was extra painful. It went away with hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin but kind of scary that it happened... They did also nick me with the drill the first time I went to get a pedi here. But I still really like the colors they have so just tell them to be gentle :(( read more

This Salon is a reason I will continue to visit the Rowland Heights area (now moving to La Habra.) I am a nail SNOB, so much so that I bought everything to just do my own nails at home because I was tired of paying $80+ for nails I wasn't happy with. I've done it all around Los Angeles, private nail techs/salons, high end studios etc and really just never felt satisfied. This nail salon has made me a repeat booking customer (every 3 weeks) because I now look forward to getting my nails and toes done! I am someone who always likes a unique nail design, so much so that I didn't even bother trying at other salons because it would look nothing like my inspo pic. All that has now changed with ROSE (my nail tech for nails) she is quite literally my nail goddess and executes my crazy Pinterest designs every single timeeee. Pricing wise, I do get a Builder Gel Manicure with usually designs on 8/10 nails, some chrome/gems applied and it ranges from $55-75 depending on design (see pics for what I've done.) Pedicures here are also just as nice, for the medium level deluxe spa pedicure ($38 I believe) you get the works with a leg mask, leg scrub, massage etc. Personally I think the pricing for their services is well worth the value of the services and recommend them to anyone local to the area! read more

I have been to one plus nail three times. I found them on yelp some months ago and decided to give them a try. First off I wanna say that his place is really clean! Kudos to that. There are some salons that are questionable even just by entering and this place is not! Second everytime I have gotten my nails done here, they've been perfect. I have been going to One Plus Nail for a good few months now! I can't stop going back! I get organic spa pedis from Alice and a gel manicure + design from Rose every time. They really know how to pamper and care for my nails! Rose is extremely talented and prepared for all sorts of designs! I highly recommend Rose if you are looking for more specific or intricate designs! She matches my references all the time. The chairs are also so comfy and their spaces are super clean which is a huge bonus. One Plus Nail's prices are also insanely reasonable. I cannot recommend this place enough. For price transparency my manicure came out to $80 and the pedicure at $40 **note this is based on service and depth of service requested - prices may very** I was seated promptly after checking in and was so glad as many salon experiences have me waiting well past scheduled appointment time. The variety of colors and types of gel/polish/etc were plentiful. Cecilia was so good about making sure that each color and shape or the nails was as expected and checking with me if I liked it. 5 out of 5 for service and quality. As for cleanliness I was really happy to see that each instrument per client was new and sealed in either a clean autoclave pack or new file from a new bag. I really appreciate this from a standpoint that bacteria can transfer so easily at salons if not careful. The only reason for 4 out of 5 was simply the fact that I didn't see the tub of the pedicure sanitized or disinfected after the plastic liner per each client was taken off. I fully understand that the plastic liner does aid in cleanliness but plastics can break/have holes/disintegrate. So for me, even a lil spray of alcohol/clorox/etc after each liner per client in between uses would've been nice. **An analogy would be when you use a CrockPot liner you still wash the CrockPot after use even though it was lined the whole time** Overall, pleasant experience and I plan on coming back. read more

Oh wow. I visit a LOT of mid to high nail salons (usually only once) and since I split my time between OC/LA, I'm not married to one salon/tech but have some that I visit on a semi-frequent basis. I will definitely add One Plus to the rotation. The salon is clean and located in a plaza with a nice big parking lot. The cost/quality ratio is honestly absurd. This may be single-handedly the most reasonably priced salon I've visited. But I will say that they are very slow lol. It took nearly 3 hours for my appointment to end and I think both the tech and I were exhausted by the end of it. Also, I don't recommend getting complicated nail art - this isn't the place for it. Stick to French and simple designs; the line work isn't perfect and you may be disappointed. Overall a great find and thrilled to visit again! 2 week update - will have to lower this rating as I'm noticing some lifting at the 2 week mark. Ive been coming here for over a year now and can honestly say this salon is amazing and Zoe's work is great. She has done 3 of my gel sets to date and I would not change her work for anything. Her application is flawless, not thick or clumpy or streaky. Also important to note, her gel manicures, and most of the other ladies' work, lasts longer than 3 weeks with no chips or cracks. Just did my nails with Lilly and this place is fantastic! It's clean and they have all kinds of various polishes even the sheer ones that have been trending lately. Lilly was meticulous, detailed, and checked if I liked the length and opaqueness of the polish. She was careful when cutting my cuticles and was not rushing and digging into them. I have been traumatized by a long ago nail experience in Las Vegas and the woman doing my nails literally cut me bc of how careless and fast she was going. That is not the service you will get here. I really appreciated the detail that went into both my gel manicure and pedicure. It took a bit longer than I'm used to bc instead of 2 people working on you at the same time Lilly did both my services. Right now it's such a steal because they have an amazing promotion where if you do a gelX, gel manicure, or dip powder they offer the classic pedicure for free. That is a major steal. Again this is a GRAND opening promotion so it's not a regular thing they do. I would still go back and come here even without the promotion. read more

I was looking to get my mom and I's nails done for our upcoming vaca and saw this was a new place in Rowland Heights. It's located in a plaza right off the freeway. Jessica and Lilly did our nails and completely exceeded expectations I showed Lilly a reference pic and told her it doesn't have to be identical, just like a similar vibe and she totally killed it! She did a beautiful nude pink to white ombré with light glitter and helped me choose the best crystal / gem placements. She was super meticulous when working on my nails as I had previous damage from press ons and she was extra careful when doing my cuticles and gel x. She talked me through each step, making sure I was good on our selections :) In general I had a great experience and I loved chatting with her too! Jessica also did wonders with my moms nails! My mom has pretty rough hands and feet from her job, and Jessica handled all her problem areas and left her with a beautiful french tip! My mom LOVES it! She just wanted some relief from an ingrown and after we convinced her to do french, Jessica literally transformed her feet entirely!! Lol. This place needs to be way more popular!!!! They are definitely very skilled at what they do. I am so impressed by their new technology, their using quality US made products, and their artistic craft.
