Juan answered my call, and we set an appointment to discuss the project. He arrived on-time and was attentive to our needs. My first impression of Juan was that he was genuine and pleasant. Before leaving, he provided me a long list of local references. I contacted one of his references and received very detailed information about the quality of his work. He delivered the quote that evening via email. His quote was reasonable and more competitive than the others. A few days later, I went to Sherwin-Williams to select a stain color, and the associates knew of his business and provided positive feedback. Additionally, Juan was ready and willing to provide proof of his business licensure and insurance. So, we hired him. He was honest about his busy schedule at the time, so it was a couple of weeks before he got started. But, he completed the project on-time and as-quoted. He told me to take a couple of days to look over the work for anything that may have been overlooked, but I wasn't able to identify any problems.
