Wonderful food - highly recommend the spicy sesame ramen and tea! The facility is clean and service is great

Ramen is mild, service is efficient. Not something I would eat again. There are best ramens out there.

Simple, small establishment; chill atmosphere; sweet staff; and delicious food. I like going there for a quiet evening, enjoying a bowl of warm ramen and sometimes a sushi roll, with a table to myself. A perfect place to rewind after a long day at work.

It was a nice and small restaurant. The kimchee miso ramen was good, but not that spicy. The vegan ramen was ok. It need more flavor. It was not busy so the staff were very attentive. There is only street parking.

Decent ramen place in Cambridge along Mass Ave near Porter Square. Spicy sesame ramen $15 comes in rich flavorful spicy broth, half cooked egg and ground pork. Tonkotsu ramen $13 is decent with chashu pork.

3.5/5 We ate on the patio, which was a nice space, though there were a few bugs. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and a spicy dragon roll. Everything was decently fine; nothing stood out as especially better than other ramen or sushi I've had at other places. This place does cook with low sodium, low fat, and no msg, so it didn't have the richest flavor and broth.

The food here was great but the service was poor. We had a reservation that they forgot about which induced a wait. After being seated, it was clear they were understaffed as it took long to order, get our food, etc. I know Covid is impacting staffing in general, but expect that if you dine in. We ordered sushi, ramen, and scallion pancakes. You can't go wrong with any sushi or ramen. Definitely order the scallion pancakes, they're so good.

This is the most underrated restaurant I have been to in the Boston area so far! Super cheap, high quality fish and sushi and freaking delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here and was surprised by how cheap the rolls were, especially when you come for lunch. My friend and I shared three rolls on the lunch menu and a special roll (and yes, they still offer lunch menu prices on the weekends - we came on a Sunday!). It was insanely fresh and filling. We ordered: + Spicy Tuna Update special roll +the lunch Choose Roll Combo ($13 for three rolls!!! And comes with miso soup and salad): 1. Alaskan hand roll 2. eel avocado hand roll 3. shrimp tempura hand roll I loved how they didn't inundate the rolls with rice and there's just a thin layer of rice around the fish. The tuna and salmon rolls that we had were extremely fresh and well seasoned - the perfect bite size. And I absolutely thought the size per price of roll was a steal (I'm so used to sushi restaurants only giving six prices so this was a great extra treat!) I also appreciated how all the rolls that had avocado in it gave so much avocado (they really don't skimp out on it). Highly recommend making a reservation beforehand since the space inside is small. Can seat four other parties inside and maybe 6-7 outside. If you're coming on a hot summer day like we did, it was still scorching hot inside, even though the AC was on - not the best in terms of ambiance but an awesome lunch and takeout spot. Also there was only one server when we dined in so it took forever for us to order, get water, get our check, etc. But I saw that they're looking for more servers so hopefully things will pick up!! Overall, love love love this place and can't wait to try out their other rolls! Highly recommend coming here for lunch for the best prices!

I was so excited to try a ramen place I hadn't yet been to in Boston! We were enticed by the fact that they had ramen AND sushi, but I am realizing that a business might not have a good grip on either if they offer both. Actually, the sushi was pretty good for the price. I don't think I would elect to go here for sushi alone, but it did fill a craving. The miso soup that came with the sushi dinner was cold. I decided to get the house special spicy sesame ramen over the tonkotsu because I'd never had sesame broth before! I'm not sure what I should have expected, but it tasted like pizza to me. Aside from that, however, I thought the ramen was decent. The ground beef and the could have been cooked more. The servers here are very kind, but mildly inefficient with service. Getting to the bathroom requires you to walk through the kitchen, which seems odd to me.

I had ramen from this restaurant through UberEats. The ramen broth came separately from the contents of the soup, so I was able to heat up the broth and pour it over. The broth had a really rich flavor and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The seaweed salad was also delicious. I'm hoping to check out the restaurant in person sometime soon!

I like this cute little ramen restaurant. I've been here once before when they had a student promotion going on where you get a free bowl of tonkotsu ramen if you can show them an "A" on your most transcript from the previous semester (talk about motivation!!). I got a bowl of their tonkatsu ramen and some sushi. The noodles were cooked well and the broth was delicious. I would get the sushi again as well. I feel they were both at a pretty reasonable price point. It wasn't too busy when we went so service was alright and the food did not take too long to come out.

Whoa, surprisingly good ramen in a totally unexpected location. I really wasn't expecting much when I decided to pick an order of Tonkotsu ramen up on my way home. But I quickly realized I had found a gem. For $12, you get rich and creamy pork broth, pretty tender chashu pork, half of a perfectly cooked egg, and a myriad of tasty toppings from bamboo to corn to seaweed. They also stamp a cute little sticker onto the takeout container, recommending how to reheat the broth for maximum enjoyment. I've since tried the Spicy Sesame ramen and dined in for sushi as well. Everything is good, but I still think the Tonkotsu is the highlight!

It was crispy on the outside and really good with the ramen. We also tried some of the sushi, which was okay. Nothing particularly stood out to me, but it was still decent. After a long day at HBS we went back over the river to dine at Bosso Ramen. Located across the…read morestreet from the Harvard Commons, Bosso is an izakaya-style restaurant featuring ramen. On a wet, rainy Boston evening we thought hot ramen would be just the thing. The menu is built around locally-sourced ingredients structured in three categories: sharable, sushi, and ramen. They also offer a slate of Japanese beers and Nihonshu. We started with hot Nihonshu but the only choice served warm is Gekkeikan. Now, Gekkeikan is a standard Nihonshu which is a good, if not great, rice wine. And while Gekkeikan started in Kyoto, anything served in the US with its label is actually brewed in California. We wanted the Nambu Bijin served warm but were told that was not an option. Nanbu Bijin is a great varietal from Iwate Prefecture which was our preference. It's odd that this is only offered chilled. We really urge the management to serve all of its Nihonshu warmed. For shareables we ordered the shishito, spicy salmon, and torotaku. The shishito were nicely roasted and served with a light ponzu. The quality of the peppers was eceptional and the serving was generous. The sushi is served as a hand held wrapped in nori and features tsukemono. The spicy salmon was an amply portioned but the torotaku was a bit lean in terms of quantity. Having said which, all three apps were tasty and of superior quality. Bosso offers a compelling number of Ramens that differentiate not on broth, which is customary, but on degree of spice and the choice of meats. The broth here is a superb tonkotsu that would pass muster in Sapporo. Bosso also offers just one size which, in the event, was a more than satisfactory serving. We both opted for the umami version which is generously portioned with scallions and kikurage. The boiled egg was done to perfection - that happy place between a hard and soft boiled yolk. The pok was tasty but was wanting in terms of quantity. Each bowl included two very thin slices. At the end of the day, a great ramen should have more pork - either chasu or kakuni - so we found this to be a disappointment. Our server is from Shizuoka and we enjoyed hearing of her journey from Japan to Cambridge. She was attentive without being obtrusive. The interior is dark and practical and somewhat reminiscent of some of the great hole in the wall ramen shops we frequented in Tokyo. Overall, despite some blemishes, Bosso was an enjoyable meal and we will definitely make our way back in the future. It is busy so we recommend making reservations.

Four words: spicy cold niku udon. The signature is also good!…read more I've been a fan of Yume ever since I found out about it when I went to Tufts for college. It was the Asian-American community's go-to spot for dine-in, take-out, or both! This was back when they had their location in the Lesley University food court too - people would be lining up for 30+ minutes to get a coveted seat at one of their humble seats. I look fondly on when they would yell "perfect" whenever I finished my bowl, praising how I slurped every freshly cut udon noodle and devoured every ounce of broth or crispy tempura bit they put in there. The new location is just a few stores down, still in/out of the Lesley University mall area. It has a nice ambiance and feels less cramped. While I miss the "perfect" yelling, the flavor still tastes just as good even if it's gotten an insane amount of hype since then. Would highly recommend ordering takeout if you're in a rush - they do it very efficiently, both at the original Cambridge location and the new Seaport location too. I'm so happy for all of their success!

We also tried the hot udon, which was really good too and definitely worth trying if you prefer something warm. Service was also super quick, which I appreciated. I will say I had pretty high expectations because of how hyped this place is, and personally I don't think it completely lived up to the hype for me.
