We had a great experience with Refuge Plumbing and highly recommend them! Michael, the owner, was…read moreincredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly identify the issue, explain everything clearly (didn't even get annoyed at my 1000 questions), and had no hidden fees or agenda. Our main house water shut-off valve needed to be replaced, and Refuge was able to squeeze us into his schedule within days. His pricing was very reasonable, especially considering responsiveness we received. Refuge Plumbing may be a newer business, but Michael is definitely not new to plumbing. This is my mom's vacation home and she is used to my dad being able to do all repairs. After losing him she has been putting off repairs because she's afraid of shoddy work and getting ripped off.... This was the first repair my mom was comfortable with and we'll absolutely be calling them again the next time we're in town to help tackle a few other projects on this older house.

Highly impressed with the communication here. Michael was set to help us out and was great to work…read morewith from the start. Unfortunately, a family issue arose on his end, but he handled it perfectly by notifying us right away so we could make other arrangements. It's hard to find that level of courtesy and reliability these days. Based on his character alone, I'd highly recommend reaching out to him. Great response time and very nice to deal with--I'll be keeping his number for next time!

I called Ivan and apologized on a Friday, he fit me in on Monday and got it done. He's my plumber pro indefinitely now! And will be recommending him to the neighbors. I have smart toilets coming up, and he's the pro for that too! Call Ivan for good rates and excellent work and friendliness. Recommend 100%

Five stars from me! I sent out a Yelp request for plumbing…read moreproblems in Apache Junction. Water was creeping out from under my park model home. Ivan, with AZ Desert Plumbing, was the first to respond and I checked out his website and the Better Business Bureau website. No complaints noted so I called them and made a no-cost appointment. Ivan arrived on time, ready to work on an older (20 year old) park model, permanently set on a foundation. He approached the problem from every accessible entrance (3) to the plumbing, to include using a snaked camera when it was determined that it wasn't accessible in person. He found the leak in the wastewater line and documented it on film. He was willing to decline the job, at no cost for the diagnosis, and refer the job to someone who might be a tiny gymnast. But, he also agreed to gain access through the vinyl siding and plywood sheathing, to which I agreed. Ivan methodically removed the siding and cut an access panel through the sheathing to access the waste pipe. The failed section was removed and replaced quickly and tested, with no leaks. Ivan had given me a quote for the job with the caveat that I would reassemble the removed wood and siding. He did quality work as I looked over his shoulder and explained everything he was doing. When his job was done, I had intact plumbing. And, after the agreed upon job, he went the extra mile and put everything back together, to include using his own parts. Please, give this business a chance to attack your plumbing business! They are locally owned and operated. Licensed, insured and a member of the BBB.
