Jasmine started my no-chip mani, then I had someone else work on my toes. My feet soaked for a good 12-15 minutes (which I enjoyed since I was coming from work) My experience this time around was pleasant and enjoyable. I have gotten my nails done all across the city of Chicago and by far Bibi's shop has surpassed every nail job I've ever had. I'm extremely picky and hard to impress but this woman did it. Even when I find a place I like I always find something they could have done better but not here! I was also lucky enough to walk in on a slower day (although I hear and believe it gets packed so call In and make an appt first or be prepared to wait) definitely worth the wait. I have been loyally going to Bibi since October and I do not think I will ever go anywhere else. Bibi is super talented and always fulfills my lashes better than what I wish for each time. I went to this nail shop with the impression they would do an amazing job on my nails because of positive reviews that I have read online and have heard from others. Unfortunately, this was not the case. For starters, the pricing is unreasonable when you compare it to the quality of the job. I asked for a VERY simple design (picture is below) and it was not executed to the level I would have liked it to been. My nails are lumpy, the shaping is not crisp, and the design is sloppy and lopsided. I am VERY unhappy with these nails. The cost of the nails were $70, I asked why, and the nail technician responded that the nails were $60 and the add-on of the two hearts were five dollars each. Additionally, my cuticles were not pushed back nor cut leaving the nails sloppy near the cuticle area. The acrylic application was very chunky and extremely thick, and towards the tip of the nail it became very thin leaving a huge lump on my nail. Two out of the ten nails were applied crooked, leaving a very unappealing look. If refunds are available, I would greatly appreciate that! read more

This place doesn't just do nails, they do eyelashes and eyebrows too. This is definitely a one stop salon. I come here for my mani/pedi and then have them wax my eyebrows. I used to only get my eyebrows threaded but one day I was short on time and since I was already there I had them wax them. They did such a good job of getting the shape right for my face and filling them in nicely that I decided to stop getting them threaded and come here exclusively. They also have a punch card for when you come and if you forget it (as I often do) they will combine them for you. Great service! read more

She is so neat, the salon is very clean and her work is spectacular. I am always pleased with her design work. Her no chip manicure always lasts me 2 weeks minimum. I think these nails are going on 3 1\2 weeks and no chipping. She is always very up to date with her designs and color of polish. I have had other small services such as mini facials by others just unsure of the name. I wouldn't see myself going anywhere else for the services I receive here. I've been going to one stop since 2016 and most of my experiences were the best however it's one nail tech that i go to that days later my nails just fall apart. I went in the summer and got rhinestones added by her and a day later some were gone. 12/4/2018 i went in and the next day my nail was already lifted I called and BiBi said that I can come in and get it fixed but i came on my only day off to get them done . Today (a day later) i wasn't doing anything and my index finger nail just fell off. I don't trust anyone else with my nails but one stop and it's too far for me to travel. I called BiBi again and she said she couldn't do anything over the phone which is understandable and i told her i got off at 7 she said they close at 7 my nails are so cute but they're just falling apart and i don't know who else to go to. read more

A total diamond in the rough! I can't wait to go back here. My pedicure was so thorough, well priced, and the color just won't quit! This is probably the first time in memory that I have to go back because my feet are getting too scaly, and the polish hasn't even chipped yet. I really have high hopes for the manicure lasting a super long time as well. All the staff is super friendly and good at what they do. Worst nail shop in Chicago (very unprofessional / poor customer service). I was a frequent patron at this salon and I always tipped everyone who serviced me. Unfortunately, they had a new guy to do my nails (this was late Saturday night); the acrylic he put on was too thick and I didn't notice it until I got home. I was rushing / preparing for my bday getaway. Anyway, when I noticed how thick the acrylic were that same night, I contacted BiBi (who usually does my nails). I informed her of the issue and I sent her pics (she acknowledged that the acrylic was too thick). Unfortunately she was unable to redo my nails because the salon was in the process of closing for the day (which I understood) and they were closed the following day (which I was aware of) and I was scheduled to fly out early Monday morning. I was fortunate enough to find someone to do my nails on Sunday (I refuse to have jacked up nails especially on my bday). Sunday I text BiBi pics of my newly done nails. Now here's where the problem comes in---BiBi in my opinion refused to accommodate me by offering to do my nails for free when I came back to her shop. She knew I was a great patron of her shop and I never complained about the service I received. This incident occurred a little over 3 years ago and I've never been back. This shop isn't worthy of my 1 star rating, but that's the lowest rating that I can give.
