I had a very uncomfortable experience during my pedicure. The technician was rude and did not speak to me at all, which made the service feel unwelcoming. When I got home, several of my toes were very red and painful. I called the salon to let the manager know, but was told nothing could be done unless I came back in person. I did not have time to return and offered to send photos of my foot instead, but was told refunds could not be handled over the phone. There was also no apology or acknowledgment of my concern. Unfortunately, both the service and the follow-up lacked professionalism. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves customer care. read more

I've been here maybe 2-3 times before for a no-chip mani and decided to come here since it's by target and we had to run errands. I made an appointment but had to wait at least an hour because 2 people called off. Finally, the only lady working there told me my pedi station was ready. My feet soaked in the bowl for at least 15 minutes until one of the male nail techs came. He seemed flustered when I asked him questions and am sure he said something in his native language when I made him get another polish color. Then I had a supposed Russian mani with another nail tech. He was just clipper happy with my cuticles. I'm so surprised I didn't get an infection because I barely had any left. He shaped my nails nicely, but two of my nails didn't come out nicely. They felt smudged and not as glossy chromed out like my other nails. The lady who did my manicure started clipping and cutting away at my cuticles so darn fast that she cut my fingers in three places! I'm super picky when it comes to my nails and anytime I want something specific she doesn't bat an eyelid, she's always happy to make them how I like them. I made an appointment for myself, and my friend and her daughter did a walk in at same time. We were hoping to spend the afternoon getting pampered. I arrive for my 1:00 pm and was not taken until like 1:30 on put on pedicure chair and left with feet in cold water for like 15 minutes. The workers did not greet us and hardly made us feel welcomed. We spent like 3 hours and we weren't even offered a water bottle. When they finally came to me the lady only had latex gloves. I told her I was allergic and she said well to bad we can't do a pedicure for you. I said okay at least do my nails. In the meanwhile another lady came in after us and they skipped us and started working on her. I question it and lady barks at me and said you only made appointment for you. My friends did a walk in and she said she could take them. That had nothing to do with awful service she gave me. Then lady who did my nails couldn't even do acrylics. So $200 dollars later (Even with awful service I still tip well) and it was an awful experience! If you want people to come to your shop be nice, courteous and have latex free products. My hands take center stage and I always get complimented on my nails. I always get the no chip and it easily lasts 3 weeks. The space is well stocked and beautiful. Plenty of staff available to do nails as well as pedicures. I haven't done a pedi yet but will once sandal weather is upon us. Parking is plenty and free. I was waayyyy overdue for a mani n pedi due to the pandemic. Finally got my nails and toes done here and I am extremely happy! I feel very comfortable and safe on the new procedures Tammy (the owner) has due to Covid-19. Here they clean and sanitize after each client. You do need to call and schedule an appt. They don't allow walk-ins to keep everyone safe. You must wear a mask so don't forget your masks. Tammy did an awesome job on my nails and Tom did an awesome job on pedicure. I came here today for a simple 2 minute wax and noticed it was busy , I stood for maybe 3 minutes and the techs looked up and stared at me said nothing and continued to work. I then proceeded to sit down on the couch and there was another person there waiting, based on her facial expressions she was probably ignored too . After 5 minutes she got up and left. I love this place! I got a pedicure here over the summer and it was seriously the best pedicure I've ever gotten in my life (and I've been getting them for somewhere around 10 years now). The lady who did it (I can't remember her name anymore) was so thorough and the whole experience was really relaxing with the massage and hot towel. My feet and toes looked and felt so good afterwards that I changed from having a color added to just going with clear polish and plus it lasted for a really long time (not that I have messed up toes but still). I've gone back since there to get my eyebrows done and they are really skilled with the wax and they don't thin out my eyebrows anymore than they already are. Plus they are pretty inexpensive considering how good they are. I can't wait for sandal season to come back so I can get another pedicure. I LOVE this place! read more

I don't think the atmosphere of Magic Touch is like that of a full blown day spa BUT it is very clean, tastefully decorated and much more inviting than salons like Pinky Nail. I always leave feeling relaxed and with immaculate nails. The staff is very nice, even when there's a language barrier, and I never feel rushed. The noise level is fairly low, too; huuuge plus! Get your ass over here right now, even if it means driving past 10 other nail salons. This is definitely my go-to place for getting my nails done. Gel nails are pretty decent, pedicures feel awesome (doesn't seem super thorough though around the cuticles), and regular manicures are also pretty decent. It's just I have bad luck and have extra dry skin so my cuticles look pretty bad pretty fast no matter what anyone does to it. I gotta say though my last pedicure my manicurist failed to put on a top coat. This was over the summer and chipping happened much sooner than usual. But otherwise it's inexpensive, accommodating, clean, and very friendly. The only thing noticeably lacking is the color selection and the young man who does nails isn't very gentle and doesn't seem that experienced. He is such a sweetheart though. Too long? Didn't read? I definitely wouldn't call this place a day spa. With that being said, I wish I could give it 3.5 stars. It's a good place to visit in a nail pinch and it's cheap to boot. Service is always relatively speedy, but sometimes when you want a "pampering" spa like experience, "speedy" isn't a word you want to hear. On the up side, it's friendly, they take credit cards, and parking is always a breeze. *Bonus, there is a Target in the same shopping center too!* On the down side, I wish their pedicure stations weren't the plumbed in kind (EW) and the chairs weren't so busted. So a couple of years ago I wrote a review for Magic Touch, but it looks like I wrote it on their other Yelp page. I decided to check them out again since I was in the area and needed to get a pedicure and fill in before my vacation. I arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday and they were pretty packed. Most girls were getting pedicures. About 15 minutes later I was able to get my pedicure. After my pedicure the lady told me to wait and somebody will be with me to do my nails. I waited and waited. A girl that walked in 15 minutes after me was done with her pedicure and was getting her nails done. The girl that did her pedicure was able to do her nails as well. I was beyond pissed! After she finished the girl's nails she was able to do mine...a whole 35 minutes later! I got out of there a little after 9. I should have been out of there before 8:30. Took my mom and sister there to get quick mani/pedis and waxes for my brother's wedding this weekend and short on time. Not only did they do a great job on all three, they took care of my mom, who had never gotten a mani/pedi before. She always finds a reason to complain and nothing this time - I'm impressed more than usual. Even more, when we ran to Target and she messed up her toe, they didn't just paint in the crack after they closed to get us out, but took off the polish, repainted and added another color coat and top coat to all.
