They even set us up so we can build on the yard in the future in stages as our budget allows. They were able to get us scheduled quickly and were so efficient about doing the work. It was a huge job but the guys were incredibly professional and kept us looped in to how things were going along the way. The final product was beyond fantastic. The patio not only looks great but is graded appropriately to keep water away from the house and also allows us to eat and cook outside. The artificial turf not only looks amazing but is easy maintenance and great quality. The kids and dog love rolling around on it. They graded the whole yard to help maximize the usable space in our budget and the retaining wall they installed gives me so much peace of mind. The work was expensive but well worth it. It's strange but,…read morein an era where I have interpersonal contact with all of just two people, regularly, you'd think I'd be starved for any human contact; When it came to getting quotes from tree trimming services last week, the last thing I honestly felt like doing was calling various places and scheduling meetups. But that little Request a Quote button? It just made everything easier, and more anti-social. Within a few hours I had quotes arriving from three companies, and Blossom Trees was the first to respond. It's looking like the great reviews don't lie. Blossom Trees responded first, they were the first to visit, they provided a written estimate that turned out to be the most inexpensive quote, and they were able to fit us in within five days of the original visit. They sent four people to handle one slightly overgrown plum tree and, while my photo only shows the end result, it should be noted that they completely cleaned up after themselves, which wasn't easy -- their 45 minute job shook every single yellow, orange and brown leaf from the branches, and left a big pile on the ground. I'd hire again in a heartbeat.

They were booking appts for estimates so we grabbed the first open date - the end of March. Ernie arrives at the appointed time - I show pics to give him a rough idea of what I'm looking for. Nothing radical, mainly trees for shade, shrubs to fill some empty areas and trimming up what's there. Then it's into the back yard to explain further and discuss options. He listened, took notes & some measurements. I got some great ideas to consider with my project. Let him know I was past the planning phase and ready to get started. Estimate should be ready in a few days and he'd send it over. Great - I'll have a nice looking backyard, some shade and all before the heat sets in. That was the last time I heard from anyone @ ABQ Landscape. 10 days goes by, leave message asking if the estimate was done. About a month and half later still no response to that or any other messages I've left. I guess they've got all the business they need and didn't want mine. Unfortunately there seems to be an over abundance of contractors in ABQ that think they're doing people a favor by being in business and customers will take that abuse. No, if you don't respond within a reasonable time I look for the next business. With this one you might want to save time by looking for someone else.

Yea...that was my unfortunate case when I finally decided to reach out to contractor who could help me with it. After researching contractors online, I called ABQ Landscaping about having someone come out to my property to take a look at potential irrigation/sprinkler leakages and problems with sprinkler system that went off in the middle of the night and they were able to get someone (this was very different from many contractors I reached out to where I felt like I was being put in the backburner by scheduling me a week or more out and they didn't want to give me much priority). Ernie answered my call and did what he promised me which was to give me more details about the time the technician would stop by. He was also prompt and upfront about potential costs/work that may entail. On the day of, Alfredo showed up on time. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Despite me not knowing much about the home (since I recently moved in and not knowing what the previous owner had done...other than everything was dating back to way before 2000s..), Alfredo not only was able to help me identify problem, offer solutions and, in the case of outdated system like my sprinkler control system, recommended the work that could be done as well. Not only that, on the same day, I was able to get some estimates, the breakdown of the work that needed to be done...and get started on the work that was agreed on in addition to the check up. Initially, I thought the work would just me to show me around the remote control and fix very minor thing for an hour, but I was able to get much more from their visit. Ernie was able to have Alfredo stay over to work for the whole remainder of the day to fix and upgraded (where needed) the yard sprinkler/irrigation system at my place. Very happy with the work they did (I'm sure my neighbors were thrilled too!) and will use them for this type of work (landscaping, irrigation, sprinkler) again!

They agreed to maintain my yard weekly for a monthly cash rate of $230. From the start, I should have realized how poorly they operate when they forgot to come maintain my yard the second week after they were hired. They literally told me they just forgot. They came the following week twice even though I told them to only come once the following week. On December 31st I paid them $230 in cash for the month of December only to have them begin hassling me telling me I owed them $300 in cash because they provided service five times in the month of December. I reminded them that we agreed to a $230 monthly cash rate. Instead of honoring it they very rudely left me high and dry and just quit. I urge folks not to use this company for any services.

I messaged the company and no more than a couple hour passed before Marti responded and not only did she arrange a same day meeting she even met around my work schedule. She was pleasant, arrived on time and after we explained our dilemma she quickly got to determining what rock we had, yes folks no rock is the same. We had lava rock which was in its place but through the years the gray river rock (I guarantee that's not the right type but it's all I know) was sparse and the popular black plastic to avoid weeds was showing it's face like a weed of it's own. She measured and calculated and the price was beyond fair (delivery and install woo hoo). Now the question...how *gulp* soon can you do it? 1 week folks! We were nervous about making time for their arrival but no fear they would deliver, install and we need not be present to win. The delivery date arrived and before I left work a friendly message from Marti "we are All done let us know what you think.". We arrived and no longer was our curb appeal an eye sore.
