He's deeply knowledgeable but communicates information in a context that is simple to follow. Mark also seeks to educate you, so you can ultimately make these decisions on your own. He set me up to take very small steps towards eating better quality foods. Rather than insisting I make big swinging, unsustainable changes, we would focus on small steps. First, we would remove one or two unhealthy food that I was hooked on and add some healthier foods while allowing me leeway to eat food I enjoyed that didn't disrupt the goal of overall wellness. We also made some smaller changes to my eating schedule, which helped digestion and hunger cravings. Mark's leadership was a push rather than a shove. Next thing I knew, months had passed and my body had learned to expect and even rely on healthier foods and my weight was gradually coming down. Over the months, my goals and objectives with Mark have evolved as I've evolved in my eating habits and weight. Months later, I can make many more informed nutritional choices for myself and have a far better understanding of how my body interacts with foods. My first hour long session was basically a discussion and getting to know session and then multiple follow ups about expensive training programs that I should sign up for but sadly could not afford. Once Juan Pellot and Sean Cronin realized that I was not the high ticket client they hoped for- he and Nylo completely ghosted me. It has been over a year and I have yet to be able to schedule a second and third session. I've worked out with Antonio and Dennis and they both were amazing. Lastly, one of the best parts about working out with Joey is his flexibility. There's nothing worse than being charged for moving your scheduled session or having to postpone. Joey is extremely helpful in those situations. Sometimes I've had to work late or have been out of town and as soon as I told him, he was able to find an alternative time for us to workout. Overall a 5 star treatment for a 5 star trainer. Kenny also meticulously tracks every rep and every workout - so overtime you can see the growth and that the plan is actually working. He's a great guy and the consummate professional - he's always on time and ready to go and hasn't missed one workout since I've started with him.
