I have a 50 year relationship with this bank. It was a typical bank relationship and they were…read morealways friendly. We found them having some of the best rates for mortgage and financed several cars. I found their rates to be better than regular banks and don't know if this has to do with being a credit union. We started with them at the old Lockheed site in Mountain View. I think at the time it was the only branch. They now have several sites spread throughout the South Bay. I recently visited their De Anza branch and kind of had a love-hate relationship because I thought they lacked friendliness & professionalism. On my last visit, I noticed several new people. What a difference good staff makes. Parsa in particular greeted me as I walked in the door, which I believe is the first time ever that has happened at this site. He further asked my reason for visiting and immediately helped me before I queued up at the teller window. I greatly appreciated this since he saved me a step in my banking business during that visit. As far as I'm concerned, he should be the bank mascot. He always greets me with a smile. He has made it a friendlier chore; if that makes sense. Sorry this was so late in reviewing. Thank you, Parsa for such a nice welcome in a business setting. Whoever says that?

I have been a City Priority client for a decade and I've never had an experience like I did in the…read morelast few months. I attempted to deposit $1,100 at one of the ATMs at this location back in March and during the process of depositing my money, it got jammed and never completed my transaction. The branch could not do anything and I was advised to open an investigation for provisional credit. I received a credit for the amount however it was debited from me and they only left me $40. First and foremost, I wouldn't waste gas to go and only deposit $40.. I appealed the determination however they have not been able to give me all my money. CitiBank is stealing money from me and I never thought I would experience something like this with a Bank, an institution we are supposed to trust with our money. CitiBank has had one of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with and has pushed me to take legal action against them because I haven't gotten anywhere with them.

I was lucky to speak with Vaidehi and Grace. They were willing to spend enough time with me; to ask the pertinent questions and to learn all the facts of the case. They were very patient and did not rush me. Once they were satisfied; They made the necessary changes to my accounts. If someone has a banking problem, I recommend that they go to Meriwest Credit Union for all their banking needs and get great help for any subsequent problems. The location of the Meriwest Credit Union in downtown Cupertino and the bank itself are very attractive and comfortable.

I tried to help her myself, but at 6 months pregnant I'm not the most robust physically. I went back into the bank to get more help. When I approached one of the guys working in the bank and asked for his help, he told me that I needed to ask his manager to have permission to walk outside the bank FOR A MINUTE. I went and asked the manager, who was in the middle of a transaction, so I had to wait for her to finish to get her permission --she just came out herself to help. I was pretty appalled that either 1. This bank employee couldn't even take a minute to help an elderly woman up off the ground or 2. A bank manager is SO controlling that an employee walking outside for under 2 minutes would be something she actually feels is appropriate that she needs to approve. Be kind.
