This is hands down the most unreliable and unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. My lawn hasn't been serviced in over TWO MONTHS because they keep rescheduling over and over again -- more than 6 times now. No vendor ever shows up, and every time I call or email, nobody responds. Their so-called "customer service" is completely non-existent. Meanwhile, I've received an HOA violation because of their negligence. Instead of fixing the issue, they just keep sending me more "postponed" notices with random excuses. It's clear they don't care at all about their customers. OneNeighbor is nothing but a scammy, poorly run service. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

One Neighbor's contactor triple-charged me for grass over 12". It was definitely not over 12" and the photos the contractor submitted as "proof" were anything but. It only compared the grass to the height of their push mower tires, no ruler or any other measuring device in sight. I have attempted to contact One Neighbor multiple times, both by email and phone, but they simply do not respond. I guess you have to be a contractor with them for them to care. read more

This is the first week that OneNeighbor is supposed to have picked up my pet waste, and mowed my lawn. I hired them on 05May2021 because they said they could come the same day every time, weather permitting. So they were supposed to start pet waste removal on 10May2021, and mowing 11May2021, but I rescheduled it on 06May for the 17th and 18th because it made more sense to get the charge the week after I got paid rather than an off week. OneNeighbor emailed me Thursday, 13May, trying to reschedule my mow day for Friday 14May (possibly because of the rain coming this week?? maybe??), but they didn't contact me to ask if that day was good for me. They just emailed me and rescheduled it, without asking, to a day that was really not possible for me, 24 hours before it was to be done. So, I emailed them back letting them know that, no, I needed the mow to take place as scheduled Tue, 18May, and if they couldn't mow on 18May to please schedule the mow for the next available day and let me know when it would be. They emailed me back saying their 48 hour notice of cancellation policy would prevent me from cancelling without being charged full price even if they did not mow at all. I replied, sending a screen shot of my 06May email, informing them they had made a scheduling mistake. So they replied saying they agreed the mistake was theirs, and would schedule the mow on 18May. IF they were scheduling my mow early to avoid the rain this week, they didn't explain that to me. Now, it is 18May, and they have apparently cancelled both my pet waste removal yesterday, AND my mow this week without contacting me at all to let me know. At least I can see on the OneNeighbor site dashboard the NEXT mow is scheduled for 01June, though my grass will be really long by then. This seems inconsistent. Why wouldn't they email me to let me know they cancelled, when they emailed me before? I really appreciated them emailing me when they changed my scheduled mow so I would know what to do about it. But now, they are not communicating about their changes. I would have liked OneNeighbor to email, or call, or text, or communicate with me in some way to inform me about this latest reschedule, and maybe get my input. Pretty poor customer service so far. I am not impressed. I hope it gets better. read more

Totally agree with comments in reviews here. They changed our appointment several times. Pushing it back one day to take our money if we cancelled. Started on Tuesday a no show. Called and they said they were delayed. Called again several times and could not reach anyone. Not sure if it was a one off reaching some one. They moved scheduled appointments to Weds., Thursday, Friday, Saturday, back to Friday, than back to Saturday again. Next a no show again, missed appointment. Now it says Sunday 5/30 delayed. No option to cancel services. Use at your own risk, trying to save money equals this horrific service. First experience and they have my card on file to charge. Bait and switch. They are consistently getting bad reviews. With my experience I can understand why. Over promised and undelivered. Never again for this mowing service. Grass out of control now, thanks to them now showing and missing appointments. We have not seen them charge us, yet the 24hr cancellation policy is crooked pushing it out one day each time, leaving no room to cancel without trying to take your money. They have as of today postponed my lawn service 4 times. Rain delay ok I understand, we HAD a lot of rain. My lawn is the only one not mowed on my street, it is now 8 inches tall. I will have to pay someone extra to mow it now. On one email they said they rescheduled for Memorial Day, really?? I doubt it. Stay away unless you like aggravation. Today is 6-18-21....the last time OneNeighbor was at my house to mow was 5-25-21. They constantly changed or canceled my service with out telling me and NEVER contacted me back when I reached out to them. Now its been 3 1/2 weeks since my grass has been mowed. I have a broken L5 vertebrae and will now have to go outside and mow the yard myself. I will be in pain for days because these people are so unreliable. Satisfaction is NOT guaranteed, that is a lie. They obviously care very about customer satisfaction. When i emailed them i got a pre-formatted response with nothing but excuses. Very poor quality service by their vendors, numerous missed services, a number of billing problems, and a lot of time wasted sending emails to resolve things. You would be better off going elsewhere. read more

My lawn has not been mowed since May 10. The next scheduled mowing day was Tuesday May 18, but it rained that day. So, I figured they would show up on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday last week, which were all rain-free days. Today is Wednesday May 26, and they still haven't showed up. Customer Service told me yesterday and again today that I am on the list of yards to be mowed, but they cannot guarantee that someone will show up. They can't even tell me the name of the vendor that is supposed to mow my yard. They obviously don't have a set list of vendors to mow in any particular area. I realize that rain will cause delays, but it would seem that the vendors would work the backlog in an orderly fashion and work overtime until they are caught up. If they can't tell me "for sure" that my lawn WILL be mowed today, something is terribly wrong with their business model. read more
