Had braids and eyelash Braids went well! I had a girl named Alexandria student who did my eyelashes, she stabbed me in the eye cut it with extremely sharp blade tweezers, because she had glided my eye shut with the bonding agent, toook hours to complete. the instructor had the nerve to say "tell her she did a good job" well done at destroying my eye and not completing the task. 11 hours at this place. Tortured by the eyes for 8.5 hours, come find out that was her first time doing it. Sorry but that can't be acceptable. That's my eyes that are at risk with chemicals and sharp blade. I honestly wouldn't pay a dime for that nor would I for free! I was thinking I was going to get someone who has done it a bunch of times on classmates and dolls , that then she had advanced to live clients. Wow that's legit scary that this school is doing this! I accompanied my youngest daughter there recently to get a shampoo & blow dry. That's all she wanted because she was going to get braids done the next day. Well we didn't have an appointment so went by that evening as a walk in. It has been raining ALL DAY in Houston that day but the staff was very accommodating. The Vibe and Aesthetics are on point. This location is convenient to where we live so it all worked out well. My daughter ( Sherray) said she will definitely be making an appointment and returning in the future. The prices are very decent, we had additional charges because they had to add more products and do some detangling before actually washing/conditioning her hair which turned out great and she was pleased. I also plan on getting hair service here in the near future as well. Shout out to the student/hairstylist ( Anselma) & to her instructor who was nearby giving tips & suggestions. My daughter said the instructor was super cool as well. So they apparently recently upgraded or changed the system and we were unable to pay in cash nor Apple Pay. So remember to bring your debit/credit cards. Still cool to have cash in order to TIP the student which is a Kind thing to do for all of their efforts. I requested a Senior Student. The Student I received surely wasn't in that classification. I received a shampoo with out combing out prior, after asking do I need to comb my hair out. I received a blow-dry without combing out my hair (MY NATURAL HAIR). My hair was dry before she finished. Nothing was applied Needless to say. My HAIR IS EXTREMELY DRY, I asked for a cut, I received a trim along the bottom of my hair. Just sharing and hopefully your experience will be better than mine. I left a review and no one replied. Took my 12 yr old to have her hair washed, silk pressed and trimmed. The school is very clean. While waiting to be called I observed that they were using very good quality products. We waited to be called to the back about 5 minute. Student #1- Once back there, waited for the student to start the service 20 minute. After getting her hair washed waited another 30 minute. The student told my daughter she was going to get her equipment and then disappeared for 30 minute before another student came to tell us she was going to help the 1st student by combing and blow drying my daughte's hair. I asked where the 1st student and she said she was with another client. I was surprise. I asked what happened and she said they always give them 2 client and she just finished hers so she was asked to help out. I was annoyed so I asked if she can just complete the whole service. she agreed and notified student #1 and the front desk. Student #2- She moved us to her station. Once there she evaluated my daughte's hair and strated explaining her process. we asked questions and she answered them to the best of her ability. Once she started detangling her hair I asked that she trim only an inch. during the service she was very nice, informative and talkative. when she was done, my daughter's hair was beautiful. The entire visit was 3hrs and 47 minute. I would have given this visit 5 stars if it wasn't for the long wait time with student #1 and her unprofessionalism. The students are all very accommodating and appear very happy. Always a joy to find those who are learning new things and applying that to their life. Have been here a few times - and each time I come I've had a different student with a qualified instructor/supervisor. They actually listen to what I want and cut and style accordingly. I have always had a terrific hair stylist and perfectly happy when I leave. I believe everyone should try this location out (by Willowbrook; next to Rooms To Go showroom), an save some money in the process. If I could give this school no stars I would! I was at this school for about 3 months and from day one it's been terrible and unorganized. This school only cares about the money and not about the students!! At first they will make it seem like it's such a great school and then once your in, BOOM true colors will be shown on the first day of school. The classrooms are always over packed with students barely able to push out their chairs without hitting the person behind you. Please do NOT waste your time and money getting into this school. I regret not doing deeper research about this school before getting in it. Now It's been so difficult and such a drag going through the "withdrawal" process with this school. I went to Ogle Beauty school for a wash,trim and braid down to apply a wig. The front staff was very nice. The facility was clean and very functional. The music was great. I loved my stylist Jena G., she did a great job on my braids I got so many compliments within the facility and outside. I loved the instructors they were very nice and encouraging to students.
