It was quick and easy to make an appointment on their website, and it didn't require a security deposit either. I arrived to get my conch piercing at 5:30 pm and I was out by 6 pm. I was a little nervous and had lots of questions about the piercing itself and the after care. I also had not gotten a piercing in years, so I was worried it would be painful. They were kind and allowed my two friends to come to the back with me to hold my hand (I know... I'm a scaredy cat). Mitch walked me through everything that was going to happen- for example, "okay, you're gonna feel a small pinch first and then you'll feel some pressure." He also said that my only job was to keep breathing. He had me take one deep breath in and then exhale out right as he did the piercing, too. As you can tell, the team is very patient and kind here. This is a great spot for anxious girlies or for your first time getting a piercing. Their piercing and jewelry pricing is all fair. My conch piercing costed $45 plus the 14K gold jewelry I chose. Unlike other shops, they had a huge selection of yellow gold and rose gold options that were actually cute- flowers, stars, moons, etc. On average, I saw the stud earrings were about $60-170 each. They also tallied up my total prior to actually getting the piercing, so there weren't any surprises at the end when I paid. They sent me home with a detailed after care guide too. I've already told friends and family about this shop being a great option for them when they come visit Utah.

So when we walked into Lonely Hearts Club Tattoo, we weren't expecting that we would be able to get tattooed right then and there - but we were! Chuck & Berrett did an awesome job. We had a simple design that we wanted (numbers in Old English font), I showed them a reference picture, they drew it up quickly, tattooed us quickly, and we were in and out of there in maybe 45 minutes tops? By the looks of their shop and their Instagrams, they specialize in the traditional tattoo styles - bright colors, minimal shading, fonts, etc. Super clean shop, very professional experience, located right in the heart of downtown. We weren't originally anticipating on getting a tattoo that night, but it was a tattoo that was very meaningful to us, that we had talked about for a long time, and it felt right in that moment to finally get it. I'm so glad they accepted walk ins on the day we visited. They put a second skin on our tattoos, we left it on for the recommended 3-5 days, and both of our tattoos have healed beautifully. They are friendly and welcoming, so if you're new to the tattoo game, don't be intimidated. They'll take good care of you. I really had such a fantastic experience with this tattoo spot. Even with the pandemic I felt completely safe, and like they really valued everyone's health. That aside, every employee I interacted with was positive, timely, and extremely helpful. The office space was beautiful, as well as tasteful. I've had a lot of tattoos over the years, but I cant say any shop had such a welcome and friendly environment. I was tattooed by Lilly, who was exceptional. She showed me the sketch well in advance, and was extremely receptive and supportive of the tweaks I had in mind. Even when I struggled to articulate what I wanted, she really took the time and effort to listen and talk it over with me. The actual tattooing process was a breeze, Lilly was incredibly diligent and caring the entire way through our two hour session. Really checked in and made sure I knew how it was going, and that she knew where I was at. The art work is really beautiful as well, definitely lived up to the talent displayed on her Instagram. I felt really looked after, and am planning to schedule another appointment with her soon! Love this place~ read more

I have been tattooed twice at this shop, from Ashley and Lilly and was blown away both times. Not only do I love my tattoos but I was impressed by the communication and professionalism leading up to the appointment. I would absolutely recommend this shop and any of its artists to anyone who wants a tattoo/wants to be treated with respect. The staff is good at holding their own professional boundaries while also considering the customer, it's clear that they are intentional in creating a welcoming and safe atmosphere. Best place to get tattooed, the shop is on the upper level of the building. For me it made me feel more calm because of the big windows and being high up so I can see out at everything. The place is so cute and very clean! The receptionist is so nice and seems like she loves her job! This is my 2nd tattoo by Ashley Love, she made me feel comfortable and welcome. Beautiful and very clean, open space. Big fan of the laid back and welcoming decor. While I am not new to tattoos, I feel it is a very welcoming and not a loud or intimidating atmosphere to newcomers to the tattoo world. Great FREE parking available. It is always so annoying when you're heading to the downtown SLC area and can't find decent parking. In a sea of mediocre and bad tattoo shops, Only Forever Tattoo is AWESOME. Ashley did a big piece on my forearm recently and integrated it with an existing tattoo perfectly. I can't speak highly enough about Ashley's talent. She is also rad and super helpful with bringing her tattoo knowledge to your ideas. Holy cannoli this place is great. I had an appointment with Lilly (my first tattoo!!) and it went amazing. The shop was incredibly clean and everyone obv takes the safety of the artists and customers very seriously. Only Forever is currently running a flash sale supporting Black Lives Matter, I knew I had to get in on that. I picked a butterfly from Carlos' flash, the shop got me in within a day of calling and they all went above and beyond. I am thrilled with my tattoos from Ashley! I had wanted to be tattooed by her for quite sometime for 2 reasons: 1. her work is awesome and 2. she cares about social justice and puts that into practice by fundraising for multiple causes. I've gone to Only Forever Tattoo twice, and I have nothing but good things to say about this shop! The front desk staff are so nice and helpful. I like how the shop has email appointment reminders with things to consider before the appointment (make sure the skin is moisturized, etc). My partner and I were traveling across the country and decided to do a walk-in here, we both wanted relatively small pieces (jackalopes). Her artist was great and worked with her to consult on the piece, mine not so much. Beyond the immediately disinterested attitude (whatever, I get it -- you're getting a walk-in), we talked for a few mins and came back with a decent sketch. I asked if he had thoughts about specific placement on my arm, he said "It's whatever you want". I asked about tweaking some aspects of the design (head orientation), his response "yeah, I was just thinking it could be different than everything else on the internet, but it's whatever you want." with a clearly agitated tone. (Look dude, I'm also an artist that does client work, so I try to be mindful of the fact that I'm coming to you for your expertise, but if you can't take simple feedback on something that's going to be on me for the rest of my life, I think you need to rethink your craft.) He left and came back with a totally different design, got it stenciled up and inked in under an hour. Afterwards, after some quick googling I disappointingly found out that it was a (poor) 1:1 copy of another artists' piece he found on the internet (see image, note how he didn't even define the ears correctly) Personally, overall a disappointing experience that I ended up just getting covered up. I'd try to avoid this shop, or at least this artist.

This was not a one time appointment. It was an ongoing piece that required multiple sessions to complete. The shop's public response claimed there were repeated issues with cancellations and deposits over "5 years," but after recovering the full timestamped message history, that claim simply does not match the record. The messages show: * Multiple confirmed appointments and continued sessions * Only two cancellations on my end, both with notice and accepted at the time * A cancellation by Cole in 2020 one week before a scheduled appointment * Repeated attempts from me between 2018 and 2021 to finish the tattoo At no point did I abandon the project. I repeatedly reached out to continue and complete the work, including coordinating while living in St. George and willing to drive 4 hours for appointments. The tattoo remains unfinished, and I've now been told no resolution or compensation will be offered. I have since consulted another artist and will have to pay approximately $1200 to complete and correct the work. This review is not about being denied future service. It's about being left with an unfinished multi session tattoo after years of documented attempts to complete it. All of this is supported by timestamped messages and direct communication with the shop owner.
