Casual Indian cuisine. Everything is Ala carte so you have to order rice separately if you want it. Food is delicious and they serve good portions. You can choose your level of spice which is great for wimps like me. Unfortunately they got my husband's order wrong by giving him the wrong meat and not making his spicy like he wanted. But he said the flavor was good. The staff are friendly and you can sit inside or outside which is nice.

We've been back several times and tried many different dishes. Everything has been awesome. If you can handle a LOT of spice ask for "Indian Hot." They will ask you if you are sure...they even brought a little dish of hot sauce that was WAY TOO HOT, so of course we tried it on everything. Updated to add images of the printed menus, they are different from the online ones. The service is still a bit rough but the mai tais are very rum-forward, so that makes up for it.

Delicious authentic chole bhatura with perfect amount of spice. The bhatura was fried perfectly and not oily at all. We ordered "medium spicy" for the Chole and it was quite spicy, so be careful if you're sensitive to hot and spicy. Masala dosa and chole bhatura are not on the printed menu but were available YUM. Great fast service . Lovely outdoor patio. So happy to have found this place since most restaurants in Kauai have very limited vegetarian options.

Delicious food. Was really impressed with the number of vegetarian options on the menu. The paneer tika masala was perfect! The owner came by to check on diners individually, which is a nice personal touch. Seems like a great place for families as well as for a date night.

Dinner here tonight was good. The three stars are for the food - vegetable samosas, cucumber salad, coconut curry with fish (ono), rice, and garlic naan. It was all very tasty... the fish was a bit over cooked in the Curry, but still tasted great. The service gets no stars. We waited for quite some time to place our order, and when someone did come to our table, they just stood there until I said hello and that we were ready to order. When ordering, we said we wanted medium spice, but we're told that medium was hot... which made no sense. No one asked us how our food was. When we left, the person who waited on us was at the door and said nothing as we walked by. Go for the food, not the service. (And expect to wait.) Or maybe get takeout.

Was little hectic to try this place but the food was honestly really good. The medium spice is actually SPICCCYYY. Food 10/10, service could of been better, owner doesn't talk much lol and talks very low. But if your looking for authentic indian/punjabi food this place is a must try! This place has inside seating and outside patio seating, we enjoyed the outside with the breeze!

This Indian food was actually pretty dang good, and I've eaten at a variety of places by Little India in Artesia, CA. Like many Indian places I've been to, the service isn't the quick and heavily attentive kind you expect at Western restaurants. You have to flag down staff if you need something. The restaurant is open air with most of the seating on the covered patio. - Butter chicken, medium spice: 9.5/10 A true medium spicy by Indian terms. Expect a good kick. It had a nice bright flavor. The sauce is super great for dipping your breads or smothering your rice. - Garlic naan: 8/10 A go-to flatbread with great char. Plenty of garlic. Great for dipping or using as a scoop for your food. - Alu paratha: 7.5/10 A dense potato bread with mild spice. It's very filling on it's own. Very soft, so don't expect the crisp you get with naan. - Mango lassi: 8/10 Your standard Indian yogurt drink. Probably the bottled stuff. Great nonetheless. - Veggie pakora: 3.5/10 WAAAAY too salty. Great crisp. The sweet sauce cuts on the saltiness some, but it was still too much for us. - Basmati rice: 8/10 Fresh. Chopped cilantro/coriander over the top with seeds mixed in. A great pairing with any main dish. Everything was very good other than the pakora. We actually asked for another order of butter chicken to go because we had so much leftover rice, alu paratha, and garlic naan. Good portions for sharing.

The service was excellent, all the staff were happy attentive & knowledgeable. I'm originally from the UK & currently working living on the west coast of California. Ono was the best Indian food I've eaten outside of the UK. Very flavourful. Perfect temperature. Food was offered with different spice levels mild, medium & hot. We went with the medium which was great. We love a mix of all the flavours so ordered a bunch to sample as much as we could. Would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys spicy flavourful food.

If you're debating on coming here, don't debate it any longer and get here! The food was absolutely incredible!! The menu was so vast, and had many vegetarian options that I haven't seen at other Indian restaurants. There were probably 7 dishes we were debating - it was so hard to choose! We decided on the eggplant curry and the Bhindi Okra. Both were absolutely incredible. The space was a little small on the inside, with only a couple tables. But there was a ton of additional seating outside that made the space spacious and the ambiance outside was intimate. Wish we were going to be on the island longer so we could come back and try those other dishes. Guess we will have to come back to Kauai!

I've been dying to try their Big Island location on past trips but never made it happen. Since they don't take reservations, I was fully expecting a long wait arriving around 12:30 PM on a Friday, but we were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. While most people sat in the covered patio area, we opted to sit right outside with our feet in the sand, because why not?! The beach view is unbelievable, and the breeze kept us perfectly comfortable without feeling too hot. Hubs and I were both craving fish, so I ordered the fish tacos and he got the fish and chips. Everything was so good! Honestly some of the best battered fish I've had in a really long time. Add in a cocktail to kick off the vacation, and it made for the ultimate welcome lunch to Kauaʻi. Between the food and the incredible vibes, this place set the perfect tone for our weekend trip. Will definitely be back!

For dinner, we ordered the Hawaiian pizza and chef's veggies to share. The pizza was topped with kalua pork, pineapple, scallions, and a unique sauce. Pretty good. We wanted to eat some greens so we asked about the chef's veggies. It was roasted broccoli, bell pepper, and squash. Delicious and seasoned well. For drinks, I ordered a green-tini and my mom got a virgin lava lava flow. I actually preferred her drink over mine. The green-tini had a nice kick to it. Can definitely taste the jalapeño. The virgin lava lava flow was sweet and creamy. Perfect way to end the night! The restaurant and bar definitely get crowded, but there's plenty of space inside and outside. You can get a nice view of the beach. The weather is always good, so we sat outside. The bartender was also super kind and checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything else. It can feel a little touristy, but I still think it's worth a visit.

When we pulled up around 7pm, there was just 1 other party that was there and they were seated outside. There was live music and we asked to be seated right in front of him. Boy, that was a big mistake as the speaker was right there and it was very difficult for me and my wife to carry any kind of conversation. That was mostly my fault and I should have asked to be seated a few tables back. But it was fine as the musician was great the whole night with his soothing voice and relaxing tunes. There were only 2 servers at the time so getting my drink refilled was a little slow. We ordered the fried enoki mushrooms. Not sure where they were going with this dish as enoki mushrooms don't really have any taste to them. Plus it's a little stringy. I thought it was a little oily. Not sure if the oil was hot enough when they fried this, but it was a bit greasy and since it didn't have any taste to it, the tartar sauce pretty much carried the dish. My ribeye, however, was great. It was cooked medium-rare with a lot of mashed potatoes. The peppercorn cream sauce was a nice touch and didn't overshadow the meat. The one thing I would suggest is that the ribeye was on the thin side, so it didn't get that char crispiness that you would be able to get on a thicker steak. Since I asked for it to be medium rare, getting the desired texture would not be possible. I would have liked to be thicker as the bite would be more substantial. I normally associate a thin cut to a cheap or budget steak. Flavor-wise and temp, it was perfect. There was so much mashed potatoes that I ended up leaving half of it on the plate. It's a garlic mash and really tasty. The Osso Buco was tender, fall off the bone. I did, however, find it to be a little too salty though. You also get a lot of Risotto. They do not skimp on portions here. Great find.

Its right off a main road and you cannot miss it. Parking lot was a bit small, but there was plenty of parking. AMBIANCE: When I went there was plenty of seating. A bit dead, but I also did go pretty early. There were a bunch of decor of older American pop culture like Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, etc. But also Hawaiian themed decor (obviously). SERVICE: You gotta walk up to the front to order. I was approached almost immediately as soon as I walked up to the menu on the screen. The girl working was super friendly and welcoming. I made my order and she gave me a pager for when my food was ready. FOOD: I ordered the chili pepper chicken, which was recommended from the girl at the counter. My friend ordered the ahi katsu. The chili pepper chicken was good! It was crispy and extremely flavorful. It was slightly too salty for my taste, but luckily the rice does help balance it out. Some of the crispness was sacrificed for the sauce, but it was overall still pretty crispy. I loved that they used boneless chicken thigh. I was expecting bones or lots of breading but it actually had a perfect ratio. I wasn't much a fan of the mac salad. It was like a mix of mac and potato salad, but more like a potato salad. I'm not big on potato salad, so that makes sense. My friend's ahi katsu was alright in my opinion. The sauce that's on it was good and enjoyed all the flavors. The tuna was just a bit overcooked to my liking, but idk how else one would make a katsu without overlooking it too much. Maybe bread the fish and freeze it before frying? Idk man, I'm not a chef lol but the tuna would definitely be better if it was less cooked. OVERALL: Honestly, I would still come here again. I still enjoyed the meal and the service was pretty quick. Both items were both worth trying. All the flavors were there and the little things I didn't like were just personal preferences. Its a great place to pick up a lunch plate and enjoy it at the beach.
