This was my first time trying this place the 2 years I've been coming to this island. I ordered the buttered garlic shrimp (I heard it was really good here). Definitely flavorful and would recommend to try. It definitely has a shrimp fettuccine taste to it tho, but pairs nicely with the rice. You get the option between kimchi and salad, and decided on the latter. Definitely one of the better kimchis on the island because it has a pleasant "kick" to it. What I did enjoy was (although the shrimp was on the small side), was that the shrimp was peeled and plump. I hate peeling shrimp, which is something I always have to do in Hawaii. Price is reasonable for the island, but do wish they would stuff my container with a little more with shrimp. Definitely would try the other items for a more accurate review!

The incredibly delicious Fish Tacos! The perfect way to treat yourself after a morning spent scuba diving :)

Definitely a fan of Ono Fish and Shrimp. I went there twice during my stay on Molokai, and both times really enjoyed the food. Will definitely go back there, next time on on Molokai, and highly recommend to anyone who is visiting. They have good food, good prices, and good service. The fish was fresh, the homemade mango salsa is delicious: the tacos are garnished with a little fresh cabbage, then I splashed a little hot sauce on top of them and washed it all down with a coke. What more can you ask from street tacos!

Good food, extra slow service. The good: my taco shells were heated perfectly, not too hard & not too soft. The fresh-made pico de gallo was delicious; it rescued my shrimp tacos from mediocrity. The bad: the shrimp and all the fillings were just ordinary - I expected more, being so close to the ocean. The wait time exceeds even island slowness. This place has a rustic, Third World ambiance. You will do better to visit the other food truck in town.

This is the best food we have had in Molokai! The garlic shrimp is a must! Picnic tables, friendly people, chickens a sand roosters under the tables. SO GOOD!

My wife and I were on Molokai for a week and this spot was the best seafood we ate all week.

AMBIANCE: Parking: No designated parking, just a truck in the middle of downtown so its all street parking, many of them metered. Seating: Outside seating with umbrellas. There's about 4 picnic benches that can fit about 4-8 people. Feels: This is in the heart of Downtown Molokai, so it's relatively a busy place (in a small town way). Look for the trucks and the umbrellas and you're there You're around other spots as well from the Kanemitsu bakery or the grocery stores. The spot itself is really casual. Outdoors with picnic benches. Great for a grab and go or a quick sit before adventuring off. FOOD: Poke Salad (Recommend) A lovely presentation as it was well mixed and organized. The salmon was refreshingly colg with a nice gummy texture. I enjoyed the greens, seaweed, and the mix of spicy mayo sauce. The cherry tomatoes brought a refreshing kick and the cucumber had a good crunchy texture. The masago gave a good crunchy and savory touch to it. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Fantastic! Friendly people and quick service. TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. Deeelicious. The food was refreshing, the portion was right and the price was about right. This place stood out because of its plentiful selections and locations. The name is self-explanatory, for a taste of Molokai, this is your spot. TIPS: * There are two trucks, one for their general food and the other for poke delights.

Thank you Maca and everyone at 808 Grindz. We went there again today and it certainly won't be the last time on this trip. As we were finishing our breakfast, Q came over to introduce himself and before we knew it we were talking like old friends. He shared his vision and plan for the Food Truck Park. Currently, the park houses 2 food trucks (808 Grindz and Cinnamon Rollz). Let me tell you - those cinnamon rolls are made with so much love. Allura is a genius bakery chef. Q plans to have 12 trucks featuring Sushi, Thai Food, Pizza, Tacos, and Noodles along with live music and private event space. As he spoke to us, we could feel his passion for what the park will become; an Oasis in Lahaina featuring something for everyone and backed by the Mana of the people and culture of Maui. Our trip is only half over, but we will be back again before it ends. We can't wait to come back ASAP to experience the reality of Qs Food Truck Park. We know it will surpass all expectations! Theres something to be said for taking such a simple encounter and having it turn into love. Thanks Q, Maca, and Allura, and the rest of the Ohana for making us feel like Ohana. Love and blessings for Lahaina and Maui.
