Located at the North Loop location , the space is big with other food vendors. But it's now permanently closed and it's open at united noodles. The plate we got was the kalbi ribs and garlic shrimp. It was delicious 10/10! I highly recommend!

The food was so good and we will be coming back! Lots of food for a good price which is rare in this day and age. Their new north loop location was so cute and had such fun ambiance. All of the workers were super friendly and helpful!

Visited on trivia night and were super excited to try this place. The food was ready quickly and the portions were very generous. Both the pork and the loco moco had good flavor and we enjoyed both meals.

Came here for a quick lunch the other day and was surprised by how big the portions were. I got the katsu and teriyaki chicken plate which came with rice, sauce, and cold mac salad. Everything was delicious and it was reasonably priced too. Ono is located inside North Loop Galley and parking is paid street only.

I've always heard good things about Ono and was super excited to try it. This one is located inside a food hall called the Galley. You can order at the window or you can grab a table and order via the QR code and they deliver the food to you. I thought it was a bit wild that right after you order like under 5 minutes they are walking the food over to your table which says nothing is made hot & fresh. I do get with how hectic these food halls can get it would be hard to keep up but with the prices I guess I expected a bit more freshness. We ordered the Chicken Katsu w/ a variety of sauces. It also came with rice and cold mac & cheese. In the menu photos of the chicken katsu looked like white meat which is why ordered but when it came it was thigh/dark meat. Also lukewarm, would have been better hot also. Overall wasn't impressed & a bit disappointed.

Shrimp plate with rice and Mac salad- tastes like what I got in Hawaii!! Delicious!

This was my second time trying this place and it is absolutely amazing! I have been to Oahu once and this is so spot on to being on the island! It is paid street parking but you can either download the app or there are pay stations. This place is located inside a dining hall with 3 other restaurants. In the center there is a bar. There are board/card games that you can grab if you want! There are also stations with water/glasses/silverware/napkins etc... there is also an outdoor patio that is gorgeous! The service here was fantastic and so friendly! The food: holy moly yum!! Sooo good!! I have had the pork and now the shrimp and both were spot on to what I had when I was in Hawaii!! Soooo tasty!! I don't like Mac salad, so I can't speak to this but my nephew said it was "SO YUMMY." If you haven't checked this place out, why not!? Get moving! Haha

This is a nice small spot located in the North Loop Galley. Of all the dining spots in the Galley this one stands out the most so had to try it. I was impressed. There was great flavor with both meats. The sides were pretty normal nothing to rave about. The flavor of the short ribs were phenomenal, a great marinade. They could been a tad more tender. Overall I'd have it again.

This place is such a fun place to have dinner, community dining at its best. You have options to eat and we came for the Hawaiian. Our first six years of marriage we spent time in the islands and we would chase a mixed plate wherever it would take us. Her at the galley we came for Ono and it did not disappoint. Terri chicken mixed plate and moco loco was a huge hit. Nothing says comfort food like a plate of teriyaki chicken a scoop of Mac salad and scoops of white rice. As far as the moco loco, it took me back to Poipu. Add a fruit punch and craft beer and you are in business.....

OHP Burger & hurricane fries - one of the best!

This was one of the best experiences I've had in a cafeteria setting. Their menu has a variety of options to choose from whether it be from burgers or spicy chicken sandwiches to spam sushi and poke bowls. The food was made to order and served hot! Their burger is one of the best burgers I've tasted. The meat was marinated in teriyaki sauce. Next time, I'd get the fries without any sauce, but you cannot go wrong with either sandwich. Definitely going back here later this summer.

    Katsu Loco Moco

Placed our order online and it was ready in 10 mins. There's plenty of seating in their large dining area or outdoor patio. Loco Moco is iconic Hawaii comfort food... instead of a hamburger patty this has deep fried chicken cutlets. Huge portion but only wished the homemade gravy had more umami flavor.

First time visiting North Loop Galley. This modern take on a classic food court style dining has plenty to offer for everyone. We really wanted to try Ono, but will be coming back soon to try some of the other options. You can pick your table, order, and pay through your phone -- very easy, intuitive, and convenient. You can also order directly from the restaurant if you prefer. We were craving Hawaiian food and it did not disappoint. started with Spam Musubi. Very fresh, well seasoned, and warm. Perfect to start your meal. Portions are HUGE and very well priced for the location! We decided to share a Kalua Pork and Katsu Chicken Combo, and Spam Fried Rice, and it was almost too much. Katsu was nice and crispy and the pork was super tender and well seasoned. I'd highly recommend you get the Teriyaki BBQ sauce to dip the Katsu in. The sticky rice was perfect to balance out textures and flavors. The Spam Fried Rice is as simple and delicious as it sounds. Well seasoned with a healthy dose of sesame oil. Because this is a food court style hall, it can be a little louder than a typical restaurant, but the place is very spacious and there is plenty of seating to accommodate small and large groups. Did I mention they have a patio?! Will be back soon to try other options within North Loop Galley -- and maybe take a couple Spam Musubi for the road?

We were so excited to see a Hawaiian spot within Minneapolis, that we failed to realize it was within the North Loop Galley. We found a food hall similar to this in Southern Florida, and were thrilled to see the style made its way north. You can choose to order from your table via QR code from any of the available choices within the food hall (including the bar), or you can walk up and order. Be aware - this is an open floor plan, so it can get noisy quickly. It was only about half full when we visited and we struggled to hear one another across the table. We tried, and split, a few different options. We were pleasantly surprised by the portions considering the pricing for the location. The Katsu was crunchy and juicy. The Kalua Pork was tender but a bit salty for my taste. The Spam Musubi was warm and the saltiness of the Spam paired well with the minimal salt in the rice. The Fried Rice was savory but could have used more flavor - I would recommend adding a sauce to your order to adjust the flavoring to fit your palate. We tried the spicy sauce (like a ketchup/sriracha combo) and the teriyaki barbecue. We favored the teriyaki barbecue. The Hawaiian Sun was light and refreshing.

So good! Has such an authentic and homemade flavor, just like what I make at home. I go to United Noodles all the time and I'm happy to see them use the restaurant space again. They give a very good amount of food for the price, definitely shareable. I also love the variety of sauces to choose from. Tables can be limited on more busy days. Employees are always so friendly and helpful when making menu recommendations.

As evidenced by the name, Tiki Tim's focuses mainly on island inspired cuisine (save for the fried pickles). Their menu is fairly modest in size, comprised of Tiki (shrimp and crab) cakes, fish tacos, a Hawaiian influenced pulled pork sandwich and a smattering of side dishes. While the choices are limited, they've all been quite good. The fish tacos are the highlight for me, with generous pieces of crispy and not-too-greasy fish, but you really can't wrong with anything (bring a knife and fork for the pork sandwich). The converted big blue Chevy is easy to spot on the streets, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Given that we're about as far from the coasts as possible and a long haul from Hawaii, it's nice to see someone aspiring to bring the tropical mindset to the streets of the Twin Cities.
