    Regular Poke Bowl
    Amber D.

I order poke fairly regularly & Pa is one of my favorites! I usually build my own bowl, which can add up at other places (with some toppings costing $1+ each). At Pa, most toppings are included, which is fantastic. The bowl itself is almost $17 (at least via DoorDash), so it's a bit on the higher end, but is worth it. All in all, I highly recommend Pa & I can't wait to try it in person!

Delicious tea, okay food. Fast service! Placed a delivery order because I was craving something fresh, so I opted for a Taro Root Bubble Tea, and the Volcano Bowl. The tea was solid, not overly sweet, and options to swap out milk & choose sugar levels. The bowl was good, but a bit mushy and about halfway through I was sick of it. There are options to swap ingredients to add more crunch, so maybe with a different selection I would have liked it more. Downtown-like street parking or SP+ parking ramp behind the building.

We wandered over after a delicious dinner next door looking for some bubble tea so we didn't have any of their food but ordered a Mango Green Tea with lychee jellies. My ordinary go-to and it was made super fast & tasted good!

    Salmon Lover Bowl (add tuna)

This place is great for a quick bite! The service was fast, friendly, and the food was great! I got the salmon lovers bowl with tuna added on. The ingredients all tasted fresh and seemed like a good portion size. The inside was clean and pretty minimalistic if you care about that sort of thing :)

    Hong Kong Style Milk Tea

I would tentatively say this is the best poke place I've been to in the Minneapolis. The inside is small but cute and has a good amount of seating for the space. Parking is a little difficult as it's street parking in the Northeast but manageable even on a Saturday around lunchtime. Got their Hawaiian bowl and it was super easy to customize it on their site. Subbed salmon instead of shrimp and added poke sauce in addition to the mango sauce they already put on it. This bowl had soba noodles instead of rice and was a refreshing twist to the classic poke bowl. I would really recommend the poke sauce over the mango sauce (or at least add it) as I feel like it goes better with the soba noodles. The salmon was pretty fresh and overall the bowl had a lot of texture and flavor and left me wanting more. I got their Hong Kong milk tea with boba and honestly felt like it was decent but still lacking. The boba was chewier than what I would normally expect but not in a bad way. The taste was fine but nothing special if a bit watery. Would probably try something else the next time or skip the boba.

Look ! at ! that ! color!! The idea of raw salmon cravings gross me out, but I've accepted them as a natural part of my life‍ Walking distance from me, this place is my new go to for that. Very casual, with a BYO style option, there's ways to customize each bowl to your liking (or choose one of their creations). Their teas options looked great too!

    Salmon Lover (3.5/5)

Located in NE Minneapolis, PA Tea & Poke looks to be a relatively new place in the former PinKU location. From reading PinKU's farewell letter, it looks to be Asian-American, women-owned so was excited to give it a try to support a local business. Came before the lunch time rush so it was quite empty besides two people working behind the counter. Menu focuses on poke and Chinese-style tea (e.g., cheese tea). Prices are a little high as many of these dishes are between $12-14. Ordered - Salmon Lover (3.5/5). It was good nonetheless, nothing too differentiating from others but filled a hungry, empty stomach during lunch. Portion was adequate but did leave some hunger. Didn't have food restrictions but would be nice to have the workers ask whether you have rice (e.g., brown vs. white) preferences or other dietary restrictions Overall this wasn't too bad and always nice to have more Asian establishments around the area.

Pa Tea and Poke was SO tasty! I love a classic poke bowl, and especially love that they have cooked options since I don't like raw meat! I'm such a fan of the avocado and pineapple options and the boba is to die for!! The brown sugar boba was so flavorful and just the right amount of sweetness!! The service was so quick and friendly and it's a great casual little spot to get lunch with a friend!

Stopped by for a quick lunch and got the build your own bowl. Lots of variety so you can customize what you put in your bowl. For the price, there is not a lot protein. In my opinion, not worth the price. Lots of seating and the staff was nice. Overall it was good with lots of different variety but I probably won't be back.

The cashier girly was so nice and friendly! The inside was small but cute and everything was prepared fast, also the portion sizes of everything inside the bowl was very generous. Definitely going to be back soon.

This place was a fun quick spot for poke! They had good variety in meals and a decent amount of fish in their bowls for the price! Service was fast and I was probably in and out within 25 min from ordering and eating my food (I was also probably fast because the bowl tasted so good). Great place to check out if you're craving pork and also want a quick bite!

As evidenced by the name, Tiki Tim's focuses mainly on island inspired cuisine (save for the fried pickles). Their menu is fairly modest in size, comprised of Tiki (shrimp and crab) cakes, fish tacos, a Hawaiian influenced pulled pork sandwich and a smattering of side dishes. While the choices are limited, they've all been quite good. The fish tacos are the highlight for me, with generous pieces of crispy and not-too-greasy fish, but you really can't wrong with anything (bring a knife and fork for the pork sandwich). The converted big blue Chevy is easy to spot on the streets, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Given that we're about as far from the coasts as possible and a long haul from Hawaii, it's nice to see someone aspiring to bring the tropical mindset to the streets of the Twin Cities.
