This place is not the same anymore. I got a replacement for iPhone 11 Pro Max screen here, and the touch screen did not work well--it kept frozen. I had to go back a few times to fix it because the force restart didn't work. After they checked, they asked me to reset my phone, and I always followed their directions. Then my phone started to have the same problem, I went back to the store, and they told me that I needed to change the battery. During changing the battery, we got a phone call and said that the other part was is broken, so my husband told them to fix everything for me. But after fixing and changing the battery, my phone still gets the same problem. My touch screen didn't work well, my phone got hot when charged and turned off itself while using GPS, and the battery went down so fast even though I used it an average of 4 hours a day. It made me unsure that the battery they changed for me was new and good. They replaced my iphone 11pro max screen and the next day is screen is shaking and flashing. I took it back and they replaced a new screen. Worst service ever! They did not fix my problem and refused to give me a refund. At first, they say I need to change the charging port, it costs $55. Then they told me that the screen was not working as well. They asked me for more money to change the screen. The total went up to $120. Then I say fine, as long as you can fix my problem. After I got home with the "fixed" phone, I found out that I still couldn't charge my phone. Nothing is fixed. Then I went back there the next day. They told me I have to replace the battery. That costs $35. I refused and ask for a refund. The guy starts yelling at the customers. They don't even know wha the problem is, they are just trying to get as much money as they can from you. I came here to get my iPhone unlocked.... he said my phone would be ready the next day at 11am. I went in the next day and they told me my phone is not ready and it would be ready tomorrow. It was delayed because they had to order some part? I don't know what part you need to order but I drove all the way here and they could at least give me a call saying it is delayed. Then they gave me an option if I want to get it unlocked right away instead of waiting till the next day then I would have to pay $260. Ridiculous. So I had no choice but to wait another day. When I came in they had me wait another 30 mins for my phone. Do not come here. There are plenty of other business that will do it in a timely manner, provide better customer service and be responsible! Update: they apologized and said it was miscommunications on their part and offered me a free protective glass. I won't be returning but I respect them for trying to make it right. read more

My experience is that they are never On Time! This is the third time I have driven out to their shop and they do not open on time. Like Lisa H. said, do not trust them when they said they call you back on a certain day, you better call them instead. Brought a iphone 4 to them with a bad screen. They wanted to charge $75 to replace the screen and say that if my mother board turns out to be damaged, I won't refund the screen. This doesn't make sense, what's the point of getting a brand new screen if the mother board is bad. After some talks, they agree to do a diagnostic for $10. They called back two days later and said the phone needs a $85 repair and the screen was fine. We agree to it and they said they will call back the next day when the phone is ready to pickup. They didn't call. We had to call them the day after and they said it will be done at the end of the day. At the end of the day, guess what, they said the phone cannot be done on time and they don't want to work on it anymore. At this point, I don't even know if they have swap any genuine parts for damage parts. read more

I can't believe there isn't already bad reviews about this place. I came here to get my Blackberry fixed and they gave me the run-around for two weeks. Mind you, I didn't have another cell phone. I needed my cell phone and was hoping for the turn-around they offered, but instead was phone-less for two weeks. The third or fourth time I called and asked if my phone was ready, they told me it would be ready the next day. I told them I wanted to pick up my phone because I was tired of waiting "another day". You know what they said? "Your phone will be ready tomorrow and we can't give it to you today anyway because the technician still has to put it back together." When I told them I didn't need their services anymore and I just wanted to pick up my phone, they said "We can't give you your phone because it takes 24 hours to cancel an order." They call be back five hours later and tell me to pick up my phone. I asked them if it was ready and they told me it wasn't, that they canceled my order. WTF. MIND YOU- this is NOT a busy store. It was almost always empty when I went inside. When I went to pick up my phone, it wasn't even TOUCHED!!!!! I will never go here ever ever ever again. I hope no one goes there. read more

This is my go to spot when I need a cell phone to be: 1. repaired 2. unlocked 3. jail broke They also do other things as well, broke screen repair, water damage, replacing batteries, anything cell phone related they will be able to do for you. They even sell cell phone accessories as well. A few years back when I worked at an Asian cell phone stores, this is the go to spot for us to get our customer's cell phone unlocked and repaired. But back then, they didn't have a store front yet. So, they would actually come to the location of your store to do it for you. The entire process is very quick, a phone can be unlocked in less then 10 mins and it costed about $5 to $10 per item. Currently, the going rate is fairly cheap, starts at $5, but it ultimately does come down to what make and model your phone is and what it is your are looking to get done. Turn over time is now about 3-4 days to 1 week. Which kind of sucks, now a days, no one can go phone less, not even little kids (ask my little cousins, they flip out when their phone is running now on juice). That's what I hate, the wait time for it. The last time I was here, I got a water damaged Motorola cell phone repaired for about $25, turn over time was about a week. My uncle was going crazy, he was cell phone less, but that will teach him to take his phone into the bathroom with him. Ha ha. read more

I called next day but no one answered. I left voice message but no one called back. I went to the store in Sat morning but store didn't open as business hours stated. Finally I get off early today and went asking for fix. Instead of being sorry for causing my inconvenience, the front desk said it is out of warranty after a month. Got my iphone unlocked and jailbroken. The people working know what they are doing and they work really fast. Dropped it off to get it unlocked and I picked it up the next day. Unlocking the phone passcode was kind of pricey ($35) but it was worth it. I went back because something went wrong with my phone but they fixed it again and didn't charge me either so I was pretty happy about that. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!!! UNACCEPTABLE AND APPAULING!!!! We have a large fleet of iPhones (300+ units) and I've been using On Time Mobile for repairs for the past 8 years. They've changed several owners throughout the years but the customer service has always great until the new/current owners took over* a few months ago. When I found out about the new owners I called to introduce myself and send a unit out for repair. They quickly told me that our credit history with OTM is irrelevant and I have to prepay all repairs. Keep in mind, we've been paying our invoices with OTM on time for the past 8 years, which they confirmed but for yet unknown reasons that wasn't good enough. I accepted and sent out the phone for repair. Three weeks have passed since and after several calls to get an invoice emailed to us so we can mail out a check, they finally told me the phone has been shipped out, despite their own policy that all repairs needed to be prepaid. I demanded to get the tracking number. They used some sort of weird shipping method that takes 2-3 business days to send a small iPhone package from Monterey Park to Sun Valley which is a 18 minute drive with medium traffic. Seems like it's total chaos over there and I've already taken our business elsewhere. I have no problem paying more to speak to responsive, polite business owners. Not to sound racist but many yelp users will agree with me that they have displayed "mainlander behavior" over and over again and I am done dealing with rude individuals. read more

This place is all good. I have a cracked screen which I attempted to do it myself. As I am an engineer, of course I can. However got stuck on removing the cracked screen from the frame. To avoid damaging the frame, I visited 3 stores. The first one said $50, the 2nd store... no one around.. then I came to On Time Mobile.. everything is right from that point forward. They open the store right on the opening time..that is keeping their words. I watch how they interacted with their customers remind me of professionalism. They charged me $35 for putting the phone back with the new screen.. I say they did not take advantage of me and raise the price.. The price is really good, in fact. An hour or so later I picked up the phone, the phone just look as if it was new again. And he even reminded me with some tips. WARNING: DO NOT COME TO THIS SHADY CELLPHONE REPAIR SHOP!! First of all, I am a person of dignity and honesty. I brought in my Samsung Galaxy 2 phone because it would not turn on, I fully trusted them with my phone to get it diagnosed (which took them 3 days to get a callback). So, finally they weren't able to fix my phone. When I had gone to pick it up, I thought it was a mistake that they gave me someone else's phone! I couldn't recognize my phone anymore, the screen had thick layer of oil fingerprints all over the screen and underneath that oil spill as hundreds of little and big scratches on it!!! My phone's screen was perfect when I brought it in. How would I not know how my screen looked?#?#? I look at it everyday! They they started accusing me that I had made the scratches on there before I took it in. I'm a person that HAS to keep my screen crisp and clean as possible. They OBVIOUSLY SWITCHED OUT MY WORKING PRISTINE SCREEN WITH A OLD RAGGEDY BROKEN piece of shit! The screen is worth $200 dollars. Of course they'll take it. I even went to Dr Cellular on Valley and the tech said that there was obvious evidence of tampering with the screen. Dr Cellular doesn't even charge a stupid $5 deposit for checking the phone. One of the worst experience ever & definitely don't plan on coming back to this place. I arrived at 1pm the gentleman told me it would take 2hrs to replace my front and back screen to my iPhone XS. First he clearly said If it was only the front screen it would take 20min and to do both front and back it would take 2hrs. My phone is black by the way and I asked him if he replaces the back is it a glass back or a aftermarket and he said it was glass so I said cool go ahead and do the work that would come out to 325-350$. So 2hrs go by and I went back sat in the lobby and he comes and told me he needs about another hour to do the work... okay cool at this point it was already 3:45pm so finally 4:45pm comes around I go back to the store and ask if it was ready and he said yes now this is when it gets fun. He brought me another iPhone XS that was not mine black front face white back and plastic back to make it worse.. so first thing that came out of my mouth is why is my back of my iPhone white and not black and he said it's because they're out of stock and that's all they had and my friend was behind me witnessing all this. So I finally turned the phone on and was SOO relieved it wasn't my phone and brought it to his attention this is not my phone and he looked at me like no this is your phone.. so this is when it gets even more interesting he started walking back and forth from his work area to the counter lost like it he lost my phone or handed it to someone else so I quickly call my phone and hear it ringing. He grabbed it came out and told me " hey I found your phone , but I was so busy working on other phones that I forgot to work on your phone!" So after wasting 4-5hrs of my time and phone being lost for a few minutes I grabbed my broken phone and left upset but happy they didn't work on it not only that a client marched back in saying his screen stopped working after just leaving the shop.
