I visited Onyx Bar a few times over my vacation. It's a quiet bar with a gorgeous view of Pinnacle Peak. There is a tv for news and sports fans. The staff is very attentive and work hard to ensure that your needs are met. It takes a little while for food to come out of the kitchen but the drinks come arrive fast and taste great. The bartender is skilled. Covid restrictions prevent guests from sitting at the bar and tables were placed 6 feet apart. Masks were worn by every employee.

Wow!! The view are great here! A nice spot to watch the sunset and enjoy some cocktails. My husband loves this spot. Their staff and service is excellent. The drinks are fabulous!! We are so lucky to have Onyx in our backyard (super close to our home)......we can drive right up, valet our car, find a seat on the patio, order snacks and drinks and just relax! Also a great spot to take visitors!

A nice place to catch up with a friend at the end of the week. We selected one of the tall tables near the bar and enjoyed a pitcher of sangria. Service was very attentive with both the bartender and manager stopping by frequently to see if we needed anything. For a light meal, we tried the jamón and fig, and the roasted beets flatbreads. I enjoyed the former with fig jam and blue cheese, savory and sweet flavors to accompany the jamón. If you are still hungry afterwards, make sure you make reservations for Proof or Talavera with their outdoor (and indoor) dining.

Was invited here to happy hour and was reluctant to make the 45 minute drive north but the view and experience was definitely worth it. Onyx is located at The Four Seasons and the resort is just beautiful. The views from Onyx are perfect and will probably be my top place to go for drinks if I ever want to impress someone with the views or make it seem like I have good taste haha. The drinks were amazing. I ordered a prickly pear margarita and it was so tasty(pretty too) and my fiancé ordered their drink of the day which was a raspberry martini. They had live music playing and when the sun set, I didn't want to leave! The scenery and ambiance is just gorgeous and calming. I believe happy hour ends at 6. Beer was $6 and cocktails were a couple dollars off.

Amazing views, great drinks, very creative menu but small portions, except for the burger. Huge, and delicious. Laura the manager is so personable and observant. She does an incredible Job of running the show! Highly recommend!

We made our way down the stairs and the hostess was there ready to check us in. We didn't wait at all and got seated right away. Once seated it took a while for the server to come take our order. There was live music going on which kept us entertained for the time being. After about 15 minutes, she finally came over to greet us and take our drink orders. We ordered: 1 WILD STRAWBABY - Ocho Blanco Tequila, Bergamot, Strawberry, Pineapple, Lemon, Almond Milk $22 1 50 FIRST DATES - Bumbu Rum, Cascara, Brown Sugar Date Syrup, Coconut Milk, Cinnamon Sprinkle $22 1 BLUEBERRY MULE - Blueberry, Lime, Ginger Beer $13 The drinks didn't take too long and another bartender dropped them off. Water was never offered to us and was only given to us after we asked. All the other tables were given water once they were seated. Our drinks were good but we chose to just have one each and we left. The live music was great. The musician was playing the piano and kept it fun and upbeat. The inside is pretty cool and unique but service could've definitely been better though. *There's a $10 cover fee per person when there is live music*

The staff greeted and seated me quickly in this cute, kind of quirky home office inspired bar and immediately poured me a glass of water to sip while I read through their beautiful leather-bound menu. The lights were dim with little electric tea light candles flickering against the books stacked on the huge bookshelf/entryway. Both bartenders were working diligently to assist me and the other patrons and suggested I try the Meltdown - it was FANTASTIC! It was like someone had made a super fresh pina colada and got squirrelly with some gin and guava purée but I absolutely LOVED it! The presentation was great too, it came in a large ornate glass filled with beveled ice and topped with, I believe, an orchid and some fresh mint! I really had to fight myself not to order a second one I was house sitting in the area that Saturday night and wanted to bring some dinner home with me after my drink and honestly, the food didn't disappoint either. I got the Smoked Chicken Wrap with coleslaw which came out maybe 10 mins after ordering and was thoroughly enjoyed when I got back home! Definitely a good bang for your buck at $15 compared to other bars like this with limited food options where you're typically overpaying for fried food fresh from the freezer. The vibe was there, the food was tasty and the drinks were great, I'll definitely be back with friends and family!

Wifey started with the strawberry salad which was very large and had a wonderful dressing. Easily could have feed two. Went with the lamb entree which was cooked to perfection. Chunks of beet on short skewers and wrapped with a large basal leaf. The beef itself was exceptionally good. For an entree, I went with the New York strip with a side of asparagus and off the cobb corn elote. The strip was slightly overcooked, I ordered medium and it came well done. Bummer! Asparagus was very grilled and tender. We wrapped up the meal with two pieces of Flan topped with coconut. Delightful ! Restaurant is a little unusual with respect to layout but very functional. What truly stood out was the amazing staff. Kathleen at the front desk kindly helped check my boyfriend in early when my flight was delayed by five hours and the reservation was under my name. I am incredibly grateful to Yessica and the CIVANA team for going above and beyond to return something so meaningful. I will absolutely recommend this resort to everyone I know. Excellent service, a Christmas tree upstairs, and no reservations required. Glad they were able to seat us considering we showed up without reservations. Downstairs gets quickly reserved so seats upstairs are where they push overflow patrons. Right outside Flint's doors downstairs there is a staircase which opens up to the upstairs dining area. Service was prompt, and we got our drinks by the time we had our mains decided. I got a glass of red to pair with my steak. My partner had a refreshing cocktail, but it was decent. The highlights of the night were the food. SO MUCH FOOD! And it was TERRIFIC! For starters we got the artichoke hummus. It sounded a bit weird, but all it was was regular hummus with 4 artichoke hearts that were crispy. The artichoke hearts were crisp, but moist, and I could have kept eating those all day. It comes with 1 pita bread. The server told us to order another and we did, turns out we needed it as the pita breads were quite small ($3 +). Sure only 3 bucks, but nickel and dime if you are spending $14 on an app... For mains I got the filet medium rare with a side of regular potatoes. My partner got the salmon skewer with a side of asparagus. Both the dishes were cooked perfectly and they were familiar dishes with a slightly exotic touch to it. Must be the middle eastern part of the restaurant. The steak came with a ganache or accompaniments of middle eastern sides. Can't recall what they were but they were great when I dipped my potatoes in them. It was sour, tart, acidic, kind of like middle eastern soy sauce. The server recommended it to us and we got it. The salmon skewer came with 5 decent sized pieces on it. Great for a small eater or someone who doesn't want their own meal. It too was delicious and had light touches of sauce or smoke on it. The asparagus is a favorite. It was cooked as usual, typical steak side and both me and my partner enjoyed it! For dessert, as it was my partners birthday the server comped the pound cake. While it was delicious, it was definitely the letdown of the meal. It was way too sweet including the layer of cream that it was doused with. The sweat cream wasn't necessary as the pound cake was incredibly sweet itself. Also, the pound cake wasn't soft like normal cake. It was quite dry once you peeled away the creme layer up top. I definitely should have gone with the Chocolate Ganache Tart. But their mess up worked in their favor. I'm definitely coming back for another meal at Flint!
