Water served in large glass! Great idea

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cask 53 Whiskey Bar, and I must say, it left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the ambiance and the vast selection of whiskey lining the shelves. As a whiskey enthusiast, I was thrilled to find a place that truly catered to my taste. The first thing that caught my attention was the impressive wine selection. Despite being a whiskey bar, Cask 53 showcased an extensive collection of wines, ensuring that even non-whiskey drinkers would have plenty of options. This versatility in libations is a definite plus. The outdoor area at Cask 53 was a pleasant surprise. It provided a serene and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and soak up the surroundings. Whether you prefer the lively atmosphere indoors or the more relaxed ambiance outdoors, Cask 53 has you covered. Now, let's talk about the whiskey. The options seemed limitless, and I appreciated the opportunity to explore a variety of flavors/ options and brands. The whiskey was undeniably strong, just the way I like it, and I particularly enjoyed their old-fashioned cocktail. It was expertly crafted, allowing the flavors to shine through with every sip. For sports enthusiasts, Cask 53 is a haven. The abundance of TVs scattered throughout the bar ensured that no game was missed. Whether you're a football fan or a basketball aficionado, you can cheer for your favorite team while indulging in delightful culinary creations. Cleanliness is often overlooked in bars, but Cask 53 went above and beyond in this department. The establishment was spotless, giving off an air of professionalism and care. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a clean and inviting space for patrons. Speaking of culinary delights, the sliders at Cask 53 were nothing short of finger-licking good. Bursting with flavor, they left Erika wanting more. The quesadilla was a delightful surprise, perfectly cooked and filled with a delicious combination of ingredients. And let's not forget the burger and sweet potato fries, which were simply amazing. The combination of flavors and the quality of the ingredients made each bite a true pleasure. For a lighter option, I highly recommend trying the shrimp and corn salad. It was packed with flavor and offered a delightful mix of textures. If you're feeling adventurous, add some additional shrimp to the steak salad for an even more satisfying experience. To top off an already exceptional meal, I indulged in the skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream. It was a heavenly combination of warm, gooey cookie and creamy ice cream--a match made in dessert heaven. The music playing in the background perfectly complemented the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. It added to the enjoyable experience, creating a vibrant and energetic environment. In conclusion, Cask 53 Whiskey Bar is a whiskey lover's paradise. With its extensive selection of whiskey, delightful culinary offerings, welcoming outdoor area, and clean surroundings, it ticks all the right boxes. I must take a moment to commend Ryan, our server at Cask 53 Whiskey Bar. Ryan's exceptional service truly enhanced our dining experience. From the moment we were seated, Ryan greeted us with friendliness, His knowledge and passion for the menu and whiskey selection were evident as he guided us through our choices, offering insightful recommendations. Ryan's attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm made us feel valued as customers. Their promptness in attending to our needs and ensuring that everything was to our satisfaction was remarkable. We greatly appreciate Ryan's dedication and exceptional service, making our visit to Cask 53 a memorable one. Whether you're a whiskey aficionado or simply looking for a fantastic dining experience, Cask 53 is a must-visit destination in Scottsdale Arizona. Thank you Also, one of the staff (Asian female) she was a great addition but I did not get her name. But hats off to her great service

Isabelle's Chicken w/ mashed potatoes & green beans & my Old Fashion. My husband had the Trout dinner.

Wow! Ryan was our server tonight at Cask & he was fantastic! I narrowed my dinner selection and was debating between 2 items and he pointed me in the direction of Isabelle's Chicken. Wowza! It was spectacular... paired nicely with the Bourbon Old Fashioned...and we just had to try the Bourbon Pecan Pie with ice cream. ((I don't even like nuts and it was great as well!)) My husband chose the Weiss biers & Trout. Also, scrumptious!! One Old Fashion was all I had! Good thing I wasn't driving!!!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you Ryan!

Throughout the entire evening, Kerry was constantly checking on us, making sure we had everything we needed, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and helping with anything that came up--all with a genuinely friendly attitude and a smile. Meanwhile, our actual server was rarely around, and honestly, if it weren't for Kerry, our experience would've been completely different. From where I was sitting, Kerry seemed like the only person who was truly on top of things that night. He was constantly moving, helping multiple tables, and making sure guests were taken care of. You could tell he genuinely cared about providing great service instead of just doing the bare minimum. Restaurants are lucky to have employees like him. Kerry turned what could have been a frustrating dining experience into a memorable one. I sincerely hope management recognizes how valuable he is because he absolutely deserves the praise. Thank you, Kerry, for going above and beyond--even for guests who weren't assigned to you. You're the reason we'll remember this visit.

Immediate upon entering the…read morerestaurant we were met by an extremely rude and cold hostess and several employees congregated around the front desk. None of which smiled, or even greeted us. Asked if we could sit at the bar and were literally given the once over look up and down for what we were wearing. I had on a nice skirt and blouse and my husband was wearing a designer t shirt and golf shorts. There were only two people in the entire place also sitting at the bar in a nascar jersey and a tshirt. It was a true "Pretty Woman moment" of when she was trying to spend money and was greeted so rudely. We had been walking around in the heat so I had an almost empty water bottle and was told it had to be held at the front desk. Weird, but ok. Were greeted at the bar by a nice bartender who was the friendliest in the place. However after sitting there for a few minutes we were both so irritated by the rude and unwelcoming service from the moment we walked in that we decided we were not going to spend our money in this establishment. Shame on the management and owners for allowing this type of behavior. Wish I would have read the reviews prior to stopping in as it seems this is the norm.

I mean really, did the chef put any salt and pepper on the flesh side of the salmon or did he/she only season the skin side? For the love of God...put some salt on both sides and please only cook it to medium! Just my two cents! I hope management reads this because I'll be returning to The Gladly with a large group of friends in February and we've selected salmon as one of the choices for our group meal. I hope and pray the fish will be cooked properly with seasoning please! Okay, I'm done talking about the salmon! The Chopped Salad was good and the spinach dip was very good! My spicy margarita was also top notch! However, the salmon left a bad taste in my mouth!
