I have been here several times and was quite happy. However, last Sat. My party ordered 4 different coffees. All were tepid. Not hot AT ALL. The two pour overs we ordered were also very week and bitter. I'm not sure what went wrong but it was a disappointment to bring people from out of town and have a bad experience. read more

Beautiful interior design that you would not expect in downtown Rogers or in this particular historically renovated building. Yes, the couches are uncomfortable, but good for relaxing with others. I tried the Onyx delight with decaf. Delicious. But again, come here for the coffee as much if not more as the space--brick fireplace, plush modern couches with a plethora of hanging green plants. read more

Freakin' amazing! This is an ultimate prototype for coffee houses. They have their bakery on site, (DOUGHP!) and you can watch them create while you wait for your coffee. They roast in house, which you can also watch while you wait. The ambiance is INCREDIBLE, with wood and plants everywhere, silly-high open ceilings, a large sky light, and swanky couches and seating. Their staff is BOMB! SOOOO friendly compared to most coffee houses, and their original house in Bentonville. Things are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for! Their breakfast sammies are so good, and every pastry I've had has been to die for (especially their donuts - but I hesitate to pass that on as I want all the donuts available for mySELF :P)! Being from out of state, this isn't a place we frequent or know "the system". My husband ordered a salted Carmel something (loved it) for himself and a decaf iced coffee plain for me. My iced coffee was white-presumably with a lot of cream. So I asked the guy again for an iced black decaf. I asked if there was a price difference. He said, "it's like 75 cents...I guess I can give it back to you if you want me to?" I told him no because I didn't want it to take even more time and clearly it was a problem for him. I think I got a nitro cold brew? Whatever it was, it was bitter and undrinkable-I threw it away. The price difference of course was more than 75 cents, but the young guy helping us didn't know or care. I'm sure the place is fine. But whatever he gave me and the customer service was terrible. read more

Every Onyx location is just a dream, but this HQ is just spectacular. I'm not even from NWA but Onyx truly brews the best coffee that I have ever had. This space is H U G E. Two stories, multiple bar tops, tables, couches, and places to sit, an alcohol bar upstairs, and a private restaurant are inside. If you are ever in the Rogers area, or are a fan of the Onyx in Bentonville, this is an absolute must. read more

Checked out, ate the most amazing croissant (Almond), drank an astounding cup of coffee (Mocha) and ended up working until around 2. Checked in approx. 9:30. Excellent staff, super vibe and comfy place to call your own if you're being productive or not. Love the 1907 and will return as soon as needed - which might be soon! read more

The Colombian coffee and lattes are absolutely delicious and on point. I love that they use house made syrups too. The new onyx in Rogers looks nice and is huge. One thing we did not like is we did not see any signs advertising that we couldn't bring in outside food, so we brought in our breakfast which we picked up on the way there. One onyx employee came up to us to notify we weren't allowed to bring in outside food, but did mention we could eat it outside. Thank the good Lord it was warm on that February weekend to do that. It was our first time visiting here and we assume they don't allow it because they sell food themselves so they want to sell theirs. No one ever gave us a reason though. Other than that, we enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere. read more

Great feel to the shop! It is in one of the historic downtown buildings. As a new resident to Rogers, been here almost a year, it was vital to learn the history of the area. The building they are in was specifically mentioned in the two more prevalent history books that are widely available on the town. They serve coffee that they themselves roast. This gives you a sense of local pride as you sip their bold and savory blends. They use a pour over method in fixing most of their brews, and this makes for an interesting show when waiting on your order. They have one of those special layouts to the shop, that really encourages you to socialize. I am writing this during the Pandemic of 2020. They immediately put up a plexiglas barrier and converted to a walk up ordering system. They have really gone above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during these, dare I say, uncertain times... Ok, that was overboard, but their service has not waned an ounce in dealing with all the changes of the times. read more

Beautiful and spacious! I have been going to the Bentonville location for a while, so when I saw that they opened this one in Rogers, I knew I had to visit! This space is much bigger than the other locations, with tall ceilings, lots of natural light, and nooks and crannies at every turn. There is plenty of seating, and a variety of it - you can read a book on some large wooden steps, chat with a friend on a couch upstairs, or get some work done at tables with booth seats against the wall (and more). There is even outdoor seating if you need some fresh air! The coffee is good as always, and my friends and I have yet to try a macaron we don't like (though they are pricey!). You can watch pastries being made, coffee beans being roasted, and your drinks being prepared if you so wish. There is no separate parking lot for this shop, so on busy days, just hope for a car to be leaving as you are coming. read more

Awesome space and great coffee. Bring your own sweetener if you use Splenda, Equal or brown sugar. The artificial sweetener is available in bulk squeeze bottles (liquid) and there is no way to know how much you should add to your beverages. I live in LA but Onyx Lab has my favorite coffee of all-time (Onyx Delight w/ Oat Milk) and I always treat myself when I'm in town. I've been here for three weeks and have been going once/twice per week. But the COVID-19 protocols are severely lacking. Rarely do people social distance and I've been calling my order ahead and still have to wait at least 10 minutes to get my coffee. Well today I called in my order and had to wait 30 minutes for my coffee even when I told them I would be there in five minutes. I'm at a loss. I love this coffee but the curbside pick-up is nonexistent and calling ahead is a joke. When I asked what I needed to do next time to ensure I could get my coffee on time he told me to call them again once I arrive which literally defeats the purpose of calling my order ahead. I really do love their coffee and baked goods but frankly this kind of device is unacceptable. read more
