Beautiful place to have coffee, a little steep on price but good overall. Will certainly be back

Can I live here? I did not want to leave! They have everything one needs to thrive. It is possibly one of the largest coffee shops I have ever been to. Downstairs there are all sorts of little nooks to eat, relax, and work. There is also an area to watch them make the croissants, curate the coffee, and a little shop. Upstairs there is a bar and area where they check to make sure there is consistency in each coffee batch. After watching someone making the croissants, I simply had to have one. My husband and I split the apple. It was so delicious and different. Usually I just have plain or mascarpone, but apple was a perfect option. To pair with it, I obviously chose the Fall Oat Latte. Together, it was a match made in coffee shop heaven. read more

The vibe here is really cool and very modern. My daughter and I like to come here together and hang out before I have go start work for the day. The coffee is always delicious and the food is just as good! The seating area is always clean and the workers are always kind. There are other places next to this coffee shop that look fun to try out but I am usually there early in the morning before the other spots are open. read more

Great space- very open with different types of seating options. Very modern with exposed brick, plants hanging from the ceiling, & an upstairs. Onyx coffee is delicious. Also ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheddar, & spinach on a rosemary croissant. The croissant was flaky & delicious. One small piece of bacon went a long way. Ordered a blended iced mocha & it was delicious & perfect for the hot weather. Beautiful space & friendly people. My favorite Onyx coffee shop in the area. Will be back back! read more

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY NOW! This new Onyx joint is unreal. It's absolutely beautiful! Spacious, high ceiling and have lots of natural lights, some of the coolest hanging greens set I have seen in any restaurants. With this vibe, you think the coffee probably will not be as good but you would be so wrong if you think so. We ordered both specialty latte (Fall Oat Latte - Pumpkin based - it's heavenly), Canary (has Turmeric and White Chocolate - a bit sweet for me) and 2 pour overs (Ethiopian & Kenya). Both are silky smooth with perfect temperature. Needless to say, the aroma and texture are bar none. We just drove 3 hours and these has just washed my stress away. Thank God for coffee! Besides tasting their coffee, we also tried their pastries - the ham and cheese croissant is amazing, you can taste the cheese they use is not the typical type and the ham is moist and not too salty as well. I will have it everyday if I don't have to watch my weight. Their breakfast sandwich is beautifully made, it has an egg, pickled onions an some greens. The only complaint I have is that the size is a bit too small. Just a slider size. Veggie Quiche is pretty good also, lightly seasoned and baked well. This place also has a merch area for you to grab some fresh beans to go. I know I am gonna get some for my friends and myself before I leave town. Their pastry area constantly has something new rolling out. They also have a nice large open area in the back where you can see how they roast their coffee beans. You know, Rogers AR only has a population of over 55,000 but it has something this extraordinary. It's no ordinary small town for sure. What a historic place and so nicely decorated! I had been in this building many times when it was Dollar Saver so it was an adventure seeing what they had done to renovate the place. It was beautiful. We sat on the couches and drink coffee and ate breakfast danish. The food was good, I had a bacon egg biscuit but had to wait in line about 45 minutes just to be able to order. Very popular place! If you want a place to go just to have a cuppa coffee, don't go in the mornings unless you're OK to stand in line. Other than that it was perfect. read more

The vibe inside is trendy and boho/modern, and the coffees are divine. Terrible, bitter tasting coffee with no nuance or overtones so I don't recommend their coffee unless you cover the taste up with a mocha, sugar, or milk so taking three stars off for bad coffee at a coffee shop. Moreover they don't source from Africa or Indonesia so very one dimensional. The atmosphere is amazing though and the food looks good. They have no gluten free and vegan options so I can't say anything more about it since I can't eat it. read more

This place can't go wrong. We remembered it from the last time we were in town and went out of the way to get it again. I am a design nerd and I can't get over how unique and well thought out their packaging is for the to go coffee. It's probably one of the other main reasons I remember and like the place. The atmosphere is so trendy & fun! One of our favorite places to go for a cup of Joe. This time we got the hot chocolate which was DIVINE - rich & creamy. It comes with a salted marshmallow which is the perfect compliment to the luscious chocolate. The macarons were perfect & light. They've closed all their seating for COVID, which is understandable, but sad. It was cold & we would've liked to sit & enjoy the coffee in a cozy, quaint environment they've created. How very sad! We used to love this place and it was in our breakfast rotation for mornings out... We felt like it's been going down for sometime, but today sealed the deal We ordered the quiche, almond croissant, two coffees, and a muffin to go.... We stated that we liked our coffee very hot... My first visit to a coffee shop inRogers and --wow!! What a great surprise. A bright, clean, crisp business in a reclaimed storefront in the downtown area. I enjoy trying different coffee shops but it will be difficult to deviate from Onyx. The coffee was exceptional. Truly as good as I have had anywhere. (the mocha latte is recommended) The breakfast sandwich was an additional surprise. The croissant was sized round just for the sandwich and not having the extra corners hanging off alone- unique. House pickled onions on a breakfast sandwich?? YES!!! And then--- The staff. All masked due to COVID but my order was taken by a cheerful, patient and pleasant lady - especially at 645 am. Then I moved to the pickup area and was treated to visiting with Eureka while my order was being prepared. A delightful, cheerful, energetic, and engaging young lady. She was easy to talk with and made the morning seem brighter. She seemed truly happy to be working and engaged in the conversation. The coffee and food was great. I hate giving a mediocre review, but it is what it is. The space itself is beautiful - large, airy, full of natural light. And so many plants! Ample seating, and overall lovely place to relax with a book or hang out with friends. There's an upper level with additional seating and, I believe, a full bar. Onto the mediocre....they were out of virtually every food item, including the breakfast sandwich - so my hubby and father both opted for nothing. I got the avocado toast and wanted to add prosciutto but, you guessed it - they were out. The woman at the register was apologetic, saying all the sandwiches are pre-made and they hadn't anticipated running out so quickly. Fine, no problem. We also ordered 4 teas - 3 black, 1 green - which should have been an easy and quick order to fill. The order was placed at 1:14, and by 1:34 we had only 3/4 teas. They gave us a buzzer, and we had to return to the pick-up area FOUR separate times to collect our piecemeal teas and food (1 avocado toast and 1 lemon tart). It was ridiculous. It created such an awkward and halted experience - not at all relaxing as the atmosphere would suggest. To add insult to injury, as we were finishing up I noticed what looked like pre-made sandwiches in the display case next to the register. Surely that couldn't be right, as we were told only 30 mins prior that they had run out! I walked over and lo and behold, there was a stack of breakfast sandwiches ripe for the taking. At that point, we just had to laugh. I love the space, but what a hot mess. The avocado toast was delicious, though. The eggs were perfectly soft boiled, and the pickled onions added the right amount of crunch and tanginess. This place is awesome! I love the vibe and open space. There are different types of seating, from couches, stadium, bar, tables, comfy chairs and more. There are two levels, with the upstairs having just seats when it comes to Onyx, but the upstairs also has the Foreman bar. After 4pm (I'm not 100% on that, so double check!) you have to be 21 or older to go upstairs. You order downstairs and they give you a buzzer to let you know when your food and/or drink is ready. This place seems to be busy pretty often, so sometimes it can be hard to find a seat. I've never had a problem finding some type of seating, but usually the couches are gone quicker. The parking outside is street parking. There is currently construction going on in the area that can cause some congestion, but there is also a parking lot across the street by the stationary train. read more

My second visit to Onyx and I'm hooked. An amazing cappuccino with good espresso. The chai was awesome too, and the macaroons were very flavorful and delicious. My sister and I worked on our businesses there for a few hours and got hungry, so we ordered some food. Unfortunately their kitchen was out of most things on the menu, but we got a grain bowl and WOW. It was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back and get some of their geometry coffee! read more

Wow. I'm visiting from San Francisco and hoped for a good coffee to get me going. Onyx impressed to say the least. The espresso drinks are expertly made with very flavorful beans, with subtle caramel notes. The atmosphere makes you want to stay all day with a combination of rustic modern and airy. Do you want a $12 pour over coffee or perhaps a $30 12oz bag of coffee beans? If so, this is the place for you! Along with overpriced, pretentious goods, you'll get 16 year old girls in belly shirts taking selfies in the corner by the cactus plants to post on their grams. Second to that, you'll also receive a nice dose of judgy mask wearers that sit there wearing a mask, discussing current events pulling the pointless cloth down only to take a sip of their $12 pour over. It's actually absurd this place is able to exist in Rogers Arkansas. The prices are somewhere out of Southern California, but then again, I'm sure folks from there have totally infiltrated this area too, so it makes total sense. Never settle for good enough! Or, feel OK about allowing us to make huge margins on this extremely cheap consumer good! read more

Then master and educate on the remaining steps of the process in-house. But it's actually alllll about the ambiance that won me. Walking inside the first time blew me away, I wasn't prepared hah! For a meeting or a chat this works great, but for reading/studying or just about anything else you'd want to do, I'd prefer to sit in here to do it hah! read more

I've tried this place several times, there's really no place to sit and it's very confusing. It's a big open building and always looks like it's pretty busy but I think it's just people waiting. Such a nice relaxing environment that's been created in Rogers- the folks taking orders in Rogers are always super friendly and appear to enjoy other humans- unlike the Bentonville location where it seems there are only a few folks working there who are willing to send a friendly smile to customers. I'm not new to drinking onyx coffee but I am new to their headquarters and it's just as amazing as their specialty crafted drinks. Onyx is my favorite coffee roaster and at each location I've received great service and excellent coffee. My favorite drink is the onyx delight which I ordered on my first visit here and it was delicious along with their breakfast sandwich which is only made better with their fresh made-in-house croissants. The architecture and design of this place is also stunning with many different features to look at while you enjoy your coffee. I plan on coming back many more times in the future. read more
