It's important to remember that boutique clothing provide an opportunity to obtain unique pieces that not everyone in town wi be wearing. This means you might expect to pay a little more. With that said, I thought the prices were extremely reasonable- $28-$60 or so per piece. I noted some necklaces and other accessories for $12. It's worth noting how extremely friendly the owner is. He was super sweet to my girls. His two dogs were in the shop, and he even brought one to my toddler so she could pet her. These are the types of small businesses to support.

Winning me over with compliments is a tried and true formula. The other woman (I think she was the owner) liked my skirt so much that she asked if I would let her check it out (it's one of those infinity skirts) while I tried on the merch... which I definitely was going to do since everything in this store is GORGEOUS. So, I go right to the sale rack (Because, yes, everything is gorgeous, but it's also pretty pricey. Bring your credit cards, ladies!) and immediately fall in love with at least 10 things. I show everything to my boyfriend who is patiently waiting in the very conveniently provided "man-chair" and am peppered with more compliments. Thank you, thank you... :) As I am narrowing it down in the dressing room, I hear a huge commotion from out in the store. A woman and her very young son have come in and he is going nuts. Running around like mad, won't listen while his mother SCREAMS at him to stay by her side, it's very distracting. It's also uncool since this store is lovely and there are plenty of things for this kid to break or ruin in some way. That's when the owner very calmly yet firmly tells the mother that this store might not be appropriate for this boy and they leave without another word. AWESOME! I loved that they took control of what could have been a really uncomfortable situation. Way to go, ladies!! All in all, it's a beautiful store with wonderfully helpful people and it's a breath of fresh air from all the junk "tourist" shops everywhere else in town. My texts were ignored when asking status of my sales. I moved out of state and thought I was leaving items with an honest person that would pay me for sold goods. I am in town for Thanksgiving and called Nina for status and payment, said she would call back was busy with a customer. Never called back. Stopped there yesterday and requested payment. Was told she would Zelle by the close of the day. I have contacted the Grayslake Police dept and they recently have other complaints of nonpayment and rude behavior. It is suspected that this business is failing.
