When i returned the shoes, Chiappetta claimed I left them in a hot car and that's why they shrunk. I advised Chiappetta they weren't left in a hot car. After sending my reply, plus 3 follow up emails over 3 weeks and not receiving a return reply, I called them. There was no helpfulness or acknowledgement of the issue and they suggested i contact the shoe manufacturer. I rarely have any issues with orders. To be met with no assistance, and no willingness to acknowledge the issue other than there obtuse insistence the shoes were left in a hot car is NOT acceptable. If you have an issue with an order, don't expect support or resolution from this company.

The lady that helped us was incredibly helpful. She searched and searched for my size and even called around to verify if she could get my size in different styles. In the end I was able to walk out of Stomp with a pair that fit my feet like a glove and were the style I was looking for. The atmosphere inside of Stomp is very nice as well. I love what they've done to the old Downtown Shoes location. It's fresh and clean and I felt very comfortable. She even suggested I run through the store to try out the shoes. I opted out of that one, just because I'm clumsy and I didn't want to pay for broken things. :) Also, their prices are right on target with everywhere else I had looked and researched. By July 29, after sending two emails requesting an update on my order status, I still had not received any response from the vendor. I eventually had to call the company myself to find out what was happening, only to be told that my order could not be fulfilled because the color I selected was no longer available--even though it was listed as in stock at the time I placed the order. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service. Customers should not have to repeatedly follow up just to learn that their order cannot be fulfilled. If there is an inventory issue, the company should proactively notify customers instead of leaving them waiting without any updates. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company. The inaccurate inventory information, poor communication, and lack of customer support made for a very frustrating buying experience. I'm sharing my experience so other potential customers can make an informed decision before purchasing from this company.
