Don't trust this company! Scam likely! I placed an order for the Nike AlphaFly Laser Orange shoes on Jan. 30th, after clicking on an ad for the exact same shoe on Commonwealth's Instagram ad. 2 weeks later (Feb. 13) I notice there is still no shipping information. I contact them and they said "it was an error because we accidentally shipped the shoes to someone else but we have them now and we are shipping them out today." Shortly after I got an email saying my order was on its way. Delivery date said today ( Feb. 18). So today I arrive home and don't see a package. So I click the UPS link and it says "printing label created." So I call commonwealth and they say that the item has been shipped. I inform them that the ups tracker says they haven't received a package. That only a label had been printed. Commonwealth then did some "research" and found that they don't even have the shoe that they were selling. I was informed by a manager that "Nike used the same color label for a shoe that they don't have." However, the shoe in the ad, and the shoe that I ordered off of their website said the correct information. They informed me that they don't have the shoe and won't be able to fulfill the order. They offered me a store credit for a $300 pair of running shoes I purchased from them that they don't even sell. Don't trust this company. Order from a more reputable company who takes pride in honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction. Very disappointed with the experience. read more

Several emails back and forth. even told him the confirmation number, cost, brand and size, and that it was their last one in sock. Nope. I found Commonwealth Running Company where they trademark themselves as a runner's haven for shoes and apparel. I'm brand loyal to Hoka and have purchased several Hoka pairs in the past. Upon discovering they carry Hoka at Commonwealth, I didn't have to look further. The store is well stocked and clean. Metered parking is decent along Sherman Avenue. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was able to get a pair of Bondi 8 in my size and in the color I wanted too. After having a positive experience I'm glad to know there is a local shop to go to for any running gear needs. read more

They have not shipped my order or given me any kind of update. I ordered it on 6/8 and still have not received anything.

These people have lied to me at least twice since I placed an order with them on 5/31. I still have not received my order (today is 6/11). First, they told me on 6/5 that the order was shipping and I would have a tracking number by the end of the day. After not receiving the number, I emailed them again on 6/7 and was sent the tracking info. UPS is still not showing receipt of the package today (again, 6/11) so I called Commonwealth and spoke with Luke. He told me that the shoes were not picked up at their warehouse until 6/10 and that there is some sort of problem with UPS in their area that is causing shipping delays. I then contacted UPS directly and was told by them that if my package was picked up at the Commonwealth warehouse it would show as being received by UPS because the driver scans it into their system upon pick up. What a disappointment Commonwealth Running turned out to be. I was in need of new shoes and although I'm not a runner, I do work out consistently, walking, weight training, etc., and I needed a pair of cross trainers that would be supportive and comfortable. I had previously purchased my shoes at Fleet Feet in Lincoln Square, but decided to give Commonwealth a try since their web site says that they will "understand your goals and history," measure, and provide a "video gait analysis," When I arrived, there were two employees in the store, waiting on the customers already there. They were bringing shoes up from the back of the store and the customers were putting them on themselves and walking around a bit. When it was my turn, I had to ask for my feet to be measured. There was no gait analysis, no questions about my "goals and history" or I could have told them my workout routine and the structural issues I have with my left foot. I tried on several pairs of shoes and walked around. Nobody checked the fit. Did I buy a pair of shoes? Yes. Yes, I did. Did I return the shoes? Yes. Yes, I did. After wearing them for an hour, I realized that they did not fit properly, cutting into the top of my foot. When I returned the shoes, they didn't hesitate to process the refund, which I appreciated. So, back to Fleet Feet, where I'll get a proper fit and a custom made insole. read more

Luckily, I walked in and Matt was able to help me right away with a no-contact fitting: discussion of my running goals and injuries, foot measurement, slow-mo gait analysis on a freshly disinfected treadmill, taking shoes for test runs (shoes are quarantined/disinfected afterwards), all with total focus on finding the right pair of shoes for my body. Found out I was wearing the wrong size running shoes all this time. Really great service all around from an experienced athlete, and I couldn't be happier with my shoes.
