I am always looking for a more convenient nail salon option, and this small shop fits the bill. I recently stopped in to get my nails done and a pedicure for a special occasion. The customer service was outstanding. I was seated immediately in the pedicure chair, and they really took their time on the service. My feet look and feel great. I wanted an intricate design for my nails, and the tech carefully studied the picture, talked to me about options, and faithfully reproduced it. My nails have lasted three weeks despite the fact that I am a very aggressive piano player and a nail biter lol. The services were very affordable, especially compared to some other nearby salons. This will my be my new go-to spot. read more

Oy. A pretty rough and tumble job. I got in without an appt for a dip mani. She buffed/filed my former polish off. My hands and nails were covered in debris, and I wasn't brushed or asked to wash my hands. I kept waiting and my bad for not speaking up. As a result, I do have little specks that are noticeable in the paint. Weirdly, my nails were completely done and painted, then they dipped them in a cold water with rocks and sort of clipped my cuticles. Out of order from what I'm used to (vs soaking in water and clipping prep-paint) and haphazardly thrown in to justify the manicure charge vs just polish change. read more

This place is AMAZING!!! I just went to have the acrylic nails taken off that I had gotten from another salon a couple weeks prior, due to them looking and feeling terrible, as well as falling off!!! I was able to get right in, although with Covid, they suggest making an appointment. The gentleman really took the time to take them off properly so that my real nails would not be even more damaged than they already were. That alone, impressed me. I explained to him that had a wedding to attend on this coming up Saturday and asked him if he thought that he would be able to make my nails look good without doing the acrylics and he said no problem!! The very sweet and kind woman came up and started working on my nails. I have NEVER been to a nail salon where they truly took the time and effort as she did, to make sure to pay very close attention to every little detail so that they looked simply amazing!! I was honestly shocked at how wonderful that she was able to make my own nails look, especially since they were so horrible looking when I came in there!! It was super clean and like I said, they truly took their time on everything and took pride in their work!! They spent atleast 2.5 hrs making sure that both my hands and feet looked wonderful!!! It was very reasonably priced as well!!! 1 Manicure with gel/protein and 2 pedicures, was still cheaper than getting just 1 pedi/Mani/acrylic at the place I went to 2 weeks ago and OP Nails and Spa did a way better job!! There was one other person getting a pedicure there and I asked her if she would have time to give my friend and I one and to my surprise, she said yes!! That was just as amazing!!!! Can't say enough how great this place is! We walked in without an appointment and they worked us in quickly! We were there for 2 and a half hours and they never stopped being amazing! They kept asking if we liked our nails and what we wanted done! They switch on and off when someone else comes in, or they switch based on specialty to make sure everyone gets the best experience. I went to OP on a Sunday since a lot of locations are closed - and I'm very satisfied overall! I made a 4:15 appointment and didn't get to a table until about 4:30, because they had three customers & two workers (plus their receptionist.) I believe the woman who did my nails was the owner, and she did a good job! I did color only; gel polish. And I was done within 20 minutes. She took her time/ I didn't feel like she was rushing me out. She also told me if they chip anytime soon, she will fix for free. And the total was only $20. I think I will keep this place as my Sunday option! And I'm extremely picky on nails - so they get a 5 star from me! 10/21: I went back to OP nails for another no-chip, and this time I did the full mani. Again, I'm so extremely satisfied! I love my nails! I got the brand new holiday OPI color Ro-Man-Ce on the Moon - and my nail tech, Amy, once again did a flawless job! The big perk is the massage chair during your pedicure. Other than that, eh. They are so slow. My grandma got a manicure and she didn't even get the hand/arm massage that typically comes with it. I've given this place a try twice and have been unhappy both times. The girl who did my nails each time really didn't have the experience necessary to be doing customers' nails. The first time, I spent nearly two hours there to get a gel manicure. She was painfully slow- not to mention the final color of my nails was like a neon sea foam green, and it was supposed to be a light greenish/gray. I went back for a gel manicure a second time this past weekend, hoping for a different result- I should not have. The same girl did my nails, and it is chipping and peeling after only 4 days. The lady who owns the place is sweet and always offers that I can come back and she will fix things I'm unhappy with. I can't say enough good things about the service I received here. I had previously got my nails done earlier in the day by a different salon but the service I received was far from good and left my nails even more damaged then when I came in [the previous salon had drilled my nail with the nail drill to the point where it made my nail uneven and the paint job was done haphazardly]. I called the owner of OP nails on the phone and explained the situation, and she was beyond understanding and said she would take a look at my nails to see what she could do to try to help fix them. I asked if I could get in today with an appointment, and she said yes and was able to give me an appointment within the hour of me calling. When I got there, she took a look at my nails and was precise about making sure that they looked good and that the nails were even; fixing the salons previous mistakes. She also talked with me about classes at the college I am attending and did not sit there silently which was very nice and greatly appreciated. I also had an older man work on my nails and he did an excellent job as well and also talked about college with me. I greatly appreciate the owner taking the time to fix the mistakes and make sure I was happy before I left. I will for sure be returning! read more

My mother-in-law and I went to OP as a last option when we were trying to find a place for her to get a gel manicure done on a Sunday at 4 p.m. We went to the three salons I'd been to before, and they were all closed. I'd never been to OP, but we decided to see if they were open. We were both SO impressed by the staff and the salon. I think it's so irritating to go to salons that have a TV set on trashy soaps and talk shows. There is no TV at all at OP; instead, the instrumental music they play could easily put you to sleep. (Granted, the music could use some rotation.) They offer free soft drinks and water, the magazines are current, and when you get a pedi, they bring a pillow to lay across your lap so you don't even have to hold your magazine up. :) My MIL's gel mani turned out great--she even texted me a pic of her nails 2 weeks later, and they looked the same as the day she had them done. I'd never had a gel manicure before, but after now having two done at OP, I am a full-fledged fan. I never even wore colored polish before, and now my nails look so much better, that's all I choose with the gel mani. The staff is so friendly, and the cost is the same as other salons that aren't nearly as nice or as clean--sometimes even a little less. I've told all my friends and family that the only place I will ever go from now is OP, and encourage them to go if they're in the area! read more

Made an appointment for 3 about 15 minutes before closing. We had 2 pedicures and 1 full nail set. They gave us amazing service and didn't seem to mind we were there about 45 minutes after closing time. They were very friendly and did a great job on our nails. They also give a coupon for $5 off your next appointment which is rare! When you can see nail dust over everything - tables, chairs, bookshelves, fans, lights....everything, it is time to clean. At first this place appears clean and a nice place to have for a mani pedi, however My experience proved to not be a goo experience. First the pedicure... She cut one of by big toe nails so short and cut down the sides of the nail very far into the nail bed. My toe is now very sore and I'm sure I will end up with ingrown toenail on both sides. The paint job is not the shiniest either. I requested a deluxe pedicure, but it was a poor one at that. Now to my manicure, this was done by a different nail tech. Again the nails were cut down to the nail beds and then the buffing was so hard I was cut by the buffer. I get pretty concerned about being cut at nail salons because of the possibilities of infection. Then when cutting my cuticles, the tool they were using was not sharp enough and it pulled my cuticles and need up bleeding too. The paint job again was very poor. I would not recommend going here. There are much better places than this one. read more

I have been going to the same place for my nails for about 5 years. I tried OP Nails because they are right across the street from where I recently moved. VERY nice people, but I paid $30 (including tip) for basic mani with shellac polish. It chipped off after TWO DAYS. I'm going back to 7 Nails. I will never go back to OP Nails. Very disappointed! This is tough because it was the best pedicure I've ever had but the worst manicure. Isabel, a regular employee, was so great. She was polite, thorough, and did a great job altogether. On the other hand, Vicki, a visiting manicurist (I guess the owners were out of town?), was the WORST--rude, inattentive, and made me feel like I was bothering her by being there. Two of my fingers are bleeding because of her and I overheard another customer complain that Vicki was hurting her. Worse yet, Vicki was on her phone the majority of time (speakerphone) so I felt very uncomfortable. I would go back because the place is very clean and the pedicure was great, but only if I was guaranteed someone other than Vicki. read more
