A pretty okay place for a town like this. It has the usual Greek food. The restaurant is nice but the food isn't anything upscale. It's your typical Greek fast food. The prices are mostly reasonable. I had the falafel pita. It's about $7 for only the pita. The pita comes with hummus, mostly lettuce, and with a few onions. It only had three falafel. That is ridiculously skimpy for a pita. It tasted okay but it wasn't anything great. The fries are the best side. It's about $10 for a combo. They also have a happy hour. It has some deals on the food. The bar service is kind of slow. It was pretty empty for lunch. They might get busier later. It has typical greasy fast Greek food. It's cheaper than classier places, but it also tastes cheaper. I stopped in OPA Grill on Saturday in the middle of the afternoon for a late lunch. The place was not very busy, but not empty, with a couple of tables and half-a-dozen drinkers at the bar. We were seated quickly, but after that the service declined. My wife asked for a water and I ordered a draft beer. Her water came fast, but my beer took 15 minutes and was not very cold. we gave our server our order when she brought my drink because we wanted to get things moving. She took it, but seemed annoyed. Our food arrived after another wait, and our server left the check at the same time which we found a bit pushy. My wife asked for her water to be refilled, but that never happened. I ordered the spicy chicken argos with sweet potato fries. It wasn't spicy, but it was oily, and was just dumped on top of a small pile of rice and another pile of hummus. Everything ended up all mixed together as one big mess. The fries were good, but not vet hot. My wife ordered the felafel platter. She said that the falafel was good, and the salad looked fresh, but her regular fries were cold. Then she asked the server for a side of hummus - who serves felafel and pita without hummus? The waitress looked totally annoyed again, and stopped back over with the hummus and a revised check. I was considering another beer and perhaps a shared desert, but after that happened we were done. We finished up and I looked at the check to find an additional meal on it. I asked her to take it off, and rather than apologize, she gave us attitude about how busy she was. The extra meal belonged to the next table, so back to the computer to create two new checks - very efficient. Adding to the poor service - which I understand can happen at any place on occasion - the food was less than great, and the place could have been cleaner. Stumbled on this great spot while passing through Delaware and wow am I glad we did! gyro and fresh cut Fries were amazing. No food service grade stuff here, fresh, tender, and delicious. The bison burger is a must here! Cooked just right very juicy good bun and big side of fries!!! Also had a side order of falafel which was delicious with the hummus!! The salads are big with plenty of toppings on them!! And the gyros are also a winner!! The service was great!! Got seated right away but come early because this place gets crowded in the evenings!! Are server was very friendly and they have a great selection of beers and drinks!! So if you are looking for a great place to spend the evening give this place a try!! Always enjoy Opa's! I'm a huge fan of the chicken kopanisti gyro, but everything I've tried is really good. I've been coming for years and have never had a bad meal. The dipping sauce that comes with the fried pickles is wonderful. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming and always makes an effort to come say hi for a couple of minutes. HAIR IN FOOD. I purchased a gyro and fry to go and the meat was mushy (didn't taste like lamb at all), and fries were extremely soggy. After eating a few bites I noticed a black and gray hair about 1" long, I am bald so it isn't mine. I was able to get a refund but my stomach is still upset from the food. I visited Opa Grill & Tavern for the first time for a friend's birthday party celebration. There is a great bar and ample seating for a quaint downtown establishment. They kindly reserved a table for our party of 12 and DeeDee kept the food and drinks coming. I ordered appetizers: the pan seared shrimp with pita and mozzarella sticks. There was more than enough to share, and I had leftovers to take home! I also noticed that behind the bar is the biggest whiskey and bourbon selection I've ever seen! Opa Grill and Tavern is the only 2nd establishment I've visited in Delaware, but it stands out with very friendly service and atmosphere! The prices are very reasonable. We visited Opa for the first time last night (Friday). It was busy and we waited about 15 minutes for a table. Not a long time, but after being told it was first come first serve, we were frustrated when another group of 4 came in after us but was seated before us. The hostess said it was because they didn't want kids sitting at the high tops. Our kids are 6 and 8 so more than comfortable, and experienced, with high top seating. Our server was great - friendly, attentive, fast. The table was very sticky and the floor was covered with food and napkins. We ordered an assortment of items for the kids to try. The traditional gyro was delicious, as was the falafel, French fries, salad dressing, and spanakopita. The garlic hummus and tzatziki were bland. The baklava was very good but made with walnuts instead of pistachio (may just be my preference). The most disappointing aspect was the absence of grape leaves and baba ghanoush - shocking for a Greek restaurant. The portions were right but on the expensive side for Greek food. If my husband or kids ever ask to go back I would, but all things considered I would choose another restaurant the next time we're craving Greek. read more

Incredible selection of beers and spirits. If you want to experience cocktails and craft beers you will enjoy the experience. I was there for dinner and was not feeling the bar vibe that night. Food was good but I think selection matters. The people in our group that ordered gyros were thrilled with meals. I ordered chicken Alfredo, which was very good if you like a lot of garlic. Two others in our group also got the Alfredo dishes, amazing difference in the sauces. Mine was thick a creamy, one was watery almost like soup. Disappointing if you got the runny batch. Why did I wait so long to visit this place?! We weren't really sure what they offered food wise - I just knew they had a big bourbon collection based on their social media posts. I think maybe that's why we waited so long. Regardless, we were strolling through downtown yesterday, trying to decide where to eat. As we passed their doors, a gentleman with his family on the patio asked what we were looking for and encouraged us to try this place out. We appreciated that he did that so through the doors we went... The inside was clean and offered tables, booths and the bar. With a few open seats at the bar, we seated ourselves and the bartender greeted us immediately. We inquired about the bourbons and he told us about the collection as well as informing us on the bottles of bourbon that they had for Opa only. My husband ordered the Woodford Double Barrel and I tried their new one from Wild Turkey - Longbranch. Both were very good! For dinner, I ordered the gyro with sweet potato fries - it was so delicious that there's a chance I will never order anything else (although I'm sure it's all good!) My husband ordered the Chicken Melt sandwich (I think) and he said it was super good as well. Every staff member we encountered was great. They also put the Penguins v Capitals game on for us which is sometimes hard to find for someone who is from Pittsburgh but living in Columbus. I appreciated that I could watch my sports team while enjoying a yummy dinner! We are kicking ourselves that it took so long to visit but now we know and will be back soon!
