Our go to Greek restaurant for the past 2 yrs!…read more As you can see from my photo collections, their portions & food quality was consistent throughout, ( I would say out of all the meals, I only experienced once that the meat was a bit dry ). My go to meat dish is their Ramie's Special, with Grilled Lamb & Chicken Breast, both juicy & tender, their Lemon Potato is also outstanding! Another item is their Saganaki, order it and you will not regret! Trust me on that! Service is always friendly and helpful, their casual ambiance and a "light" Greek decor makes coming here always a treat! Free Parking is available

I forgot that that charge for refills on soda. I asked for a non alcohol beer and they were out of the kind I wanted. The place was busy. After dinner it was over 20 minutes before the table was cleared. Always had to hunt down the server for anything extra. I hand the lamb shoulder which was over cooked compared to last time. It was stringy and boney with more fat on it than last time. I ordered the zucchini sticks as an appy and they were hot and plenty for four of us. 2 of us ordered the lamb. I was disappointed and the other person said it was ok. Greek lemon chicken was plentiful and about half was taken home. Lots of garlic on the prawns, hot and very tasty and enough for the person. The ambiance was no different than before. It could have been an off night and I know it was busy but I felt we were ignored.

I would Not recommend Alfa Greco to any of my friends or family. The service was subpar and did not seem like the servers cared about the customers. The lighting is dark and when it is bright, it seems very mediocre. Stay away from this place. Charging customers extra when they do not let us know that an item is extra seems deceiving. Try to avoid this restaurant!

I only went there because of it. We sat down and given menus and water. For the next 10 minutes the waiter cleared tables and seated other people. There were only two servers. Finally the waiter came over and took our drink order. Another wait and the beer I ordered was to come in a bottle. It was poured into a glass so I could only assume it was what I ordered. When he dropped our drinks off we ordered. 2 of us had the roast lamb. It was the shoulder part and it was very good, not stringy or tough. One of the better places that I have had lamb. Tortellini was ordered and an ample amount came. They ate about half. The 4th order was the Garithes Uvetsi. It looked great and it was fine, not spectacular. The bread was not that great. There was no pita or any kind of bread as an appie. The waiter was not very friendly. No coming back to the table to see how everything was. We were just left on our own. There were numerous times we tried to get the waiters attention and we failed miserably. Another long wait for our bill. Over all the food was good but service left a lot to be desired.

I have seen a lot of good reviews about this place and convinced our party of 8 to come try it…read moresince it's in our neighborhood and we have been looking for a new local Greek restaurant since Panos on Marine Drive closed down. Sadly, we were sooooo disappointed! We came on a Saturday evening at peak time, around 6:30pm, so granted, we expected it to be busy. We were sat nearly right away in comfortable booths with tables. The waitress brought us menus and water. So far so good! We ordered our food, nothing crazy, several got the special of the night, lamb souvlaki with potatoes rice and pita. A couple ordered the seafood pasta, one asked for red sauce instead of cream sauce and two asked for veggie lasagna's but they only had one order available. When we asked about the beers on menu, we were told each one was unavailable except for Heineken and the seasonal beer. When we asked what it was, she didn't know. She then brought the can of beer over and said she wasn't sure what type it was. Fair enough! She was young, seemed new and not quite trained with alcohol so no big deal. It gave us a giggle. It was a Granville Island radler btw. I ordered a Heineken and my friend ordered the yummy sounding spicy passionfruit margarita. My beer came fairly quick but no margarita. Then the young waitress came out to say that our food would take a bit longer to come out since they were a bit slammed with orders and asked if we wanted any appetizers. We decided we'd be ok, and decided to wait. One hour later!!!!! I'm not joking, one hour later, the margarita drink came out. Again, we noticed very young and probably newly hired staff attempting to make drinks. When this $19 drink came out, it looked like the rim of salt was touched with fingers and a lot of it was missing. However, my friend desperate for a drink or morsel of anything, decided to just have it as it came. She said it was delicious and the best thing she had. One hour and a half later!!! Our food came out. My medium rare lamb was cooked through and the pasta with red sauce came out with a cream sauce, but there was NO way we were going to send anything back as we were pretty hangry at this point. The potatoes were delicious, the rice extremely plain. All 8 of us agreed that for the price, service and quality of food, we would not be returning, although my friend said if the passionfruit drink was on the happy hour menu, she would consider it. All in all, very disappointed.

This is the "wow" for greek food. Don't get me wrong, here in Surrey you can find good Greek…read morerestaurants; but this one is well over good, it is "wow" level. Greek Fellas sets the bar for Greek food for me and it won't be an easy one for others to meet. If there were more than five stars, this restaurant and its team would deserve them all. Greek Fellas is not just a restaurant...it's a feeling, a memory, a small journey to Greece without needing a passport. From the moment you walk in, you're wrapped in warmth that is genuine, & effortless hospitality that Greeks are known for...the kind that makes you slow down, savour the moment, and stay a little longer than planned. It's rare to encounter a chef who can elevate classic Greek flavours to this level, but they have done it, and they have done it with elegance. I've had a lot of Greek food in the past and this place is hands down the best Greek restaurant in the city! The food is absolutely delicious and filled with authentic Greek flavours that really stand out. Every bite carries care, balance, and authenticity. I was a big fan of the pita bread platter (Tzatziki/Hummus/Tirokafteri & pita). The tzatziki was so creamy and refreshing, and add in the warm, pillowy pita to scoop it all up, & suddenly it's impossible to stop! I'd say the star of the show was the Original Platter and first of all, it's huge! Mouthwatering every single time I think about it! The chicken and lamb were beyond incredible! The calamari was unreal! Tender outside and wonderfully crunchy outside! The Spanakopita was so good, it deserves the spotlight. And their Greek salad is done right! The cheese dish (Saganaki) was fire, literally! Crispy edges, melty inside, with that perfect hint of lemon! I didn't think it could get much better, but it did when we were served all three of their desserts: Ek Mek, Baklava, & Bougatsa. The Ek Mek is a three-layer cake that's light & luscious! The Baklava was an exquisite blend of flaky pastry and rich nuts. The Bougatsa was a flaky, crispy pastry with a creamy custard filling! It was the perfect finale! My mouth is watering just writing this review :) Absolutely killer Greek food and flawless service in the most coziest atmosphere! We ate so well! Expect generous portions, & real Greek hospitality! But what truly made my experience exceptional was the outstanding service. The service is just phenomenal here. No joke. There are very few restaurants that have this level of service. Seriously... You feel seen, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. That kind of presence stays with you long after the table is cleared. The family behind it is as wonderful as their food -- genuine, kind, and committed to keeping their traditions alive. The quality of the food was exceptional--each dish was crafted with the freshest ingredients, and the flavours truly transport you to the Mediterranean. Our server never missed a beat, checking in at just the right moments, and making us feel so taken care of. Thank you to the chef, and staff for going above and beyond. The team and the chef together create an experience that's not just a meal -- it's a moment you'll remember long after you leave. I love the warm and welcoming interior here -- it immediately makes you feel at home. The place was packed, which just goes to show how amazing this restaurant truly is. And let's be honest--I'm not just writing this review out of the goodness of my heart. I want Greek Fellas to be packed every night so they never go out of business, and I can keep eating here forever! With its outstanding cuisine, attentive service, and charming atmosphere, it's a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking to indulge in a memorable Greek dining experience. I wish that I could carry this place back home with me. In short: Greek Fellas is the kind of place you'll want to keep secret, but it's just too good not to share. Go, eat, enjoy--and save me a seat!

The spanakopita was delicious and the salad was well balanced with other vegetables instead of it just being cucumbers and tomatoes. It's still not Greek Village...
