    Chicken Souvlaki

Greek Fellas is a hidden gem in Delta! This resteraunt does not seem very big on the outside when you drive by. In fact, you might not even notice that there could be an amazing Greek resteraunt in the small corner. However, let me assure you that this is definitely a place you need to try. There menu has everything from calamari, lasagna, lamb or chicken souvlaki, and dessert. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very comforting. Whether it's the vibes from the cool paintings or the chef himself coming out and trying to engage in a conversation (with free alcohol ofcourse).

The platter for 2. Would be good enough for 3-4 ladies or 3 guys!

My go to meat dish is their Ramie's Special, with Grilled Lamb & Chicken Breast, both juicy & tender, their Lemon Potato is also outstanding! Another item is their Saganaki, order it and you will not regret! Trust me on that! I forgot that that charge for refills on soda. I asked for a non alcohol beer and they were out of the kind I wanted. The place was busy. After dinner it was over 20 minutes before the table was cleared. Always had to hunt down the server for anything extra. I hand the lamb shoulder which was over cooked compared to last time. It was stringy and boney with more fat on it than last time. I ordered the zucchini sticks as an appy and they were hot and plenty for four of us. 2 of us ordered the lamb. I was disappointed and the other person said it was ok. Greek lemon chicken was plentiful and about half was taken home. Lots of garlic on the prawns, hot and very tasty and enough for the person. The ambiance was no different than before. It could have been an off night and I know it was busy but I felt we were ignored.

I would Not recommend Alfa Greco to any of my friends or family. The service was subpar and did not seem like the servers cared about the customers. The lighting is dark and when it is bright, it seems very mediocre. Stay away from this place. Charging customers extra when they do not let us know that an item is extra seems deceiving. I only went there because of it. We sat down and given menus and water. For the next 10 minutes the waiter cleared tables and seated other people. There were only two servers. Finally the waiter came over and took our drink order. Another wait and the beer I ordered was to come in a bottle. It was poured into a glass so I could only assume it was what I ordered. When he dropped our drinks off we ordered. 2 of us had the roast lamb. It was the shoulder part and it was very good, not stringy or tough. One of the better places that I have had lamb. Tortellini was ordered and an ample amount came. They ate about half. The 4th order was the Garithes Uvetsi. It looked great and it was fine, not spectacular. The bread was not that great. There was no pita or any kind of bread as an appie. The waiter was not very friendly. No coming back to the table to see how everything was. We were just left on our own. There were numerous times we tried to get the waiters attention and we failed miserably. Another long wait for our bill. Over all the food was good but service left a lot to be desired.

I have seen a lot of good reviews about this place and convinced our party of 8 to come try it…read moresince it's in our neighborhood and we have been looking for a new local Greek restaurant since Panos on Marine Drive closed down. Sadly, we were sooooo disappointed! We came on a Saturday evening at peak time, around 6:30pm, so granted, we expected it to be busy. We were sat nearly right away in comfortable booths with tables. The waitress brought us menus and water. So far so good! We ordered our food, nothing crazy, several got the special of the night, lamb souvlaki with potatoes rice and pita. A couple ordered the seafood pasta, one asked for red sauce instead of cream sauce and two asked for veggie lasagna's but they only had one order available. When we asked about the beers on menu, we were told each one was unavailable except for Heineken and the seasonal beer. When we asked what it was, she didn't know. She then brought the can of beer over and said she wasn't sure what type it was. Fair enough! She was young, seemed new and not quite trained with alcohol so no big deal. It gave us a giggle. It was a Granville Island radler btw. I ordered a Heineken and my friend ordered the yummy sounding spicy passionfruit margarita. My beer came fairly quick but no margarita. Then the young waitress came out to say that our food would take a bit longer to come out since they were a bit slammed with orders and asked if we wanted any appetizers. We decided we'd be ok, and decided to wait. One hour later!!!!! I'm not joking, one hour later, the margarita drink came out. Again, we noticed very young and probably newly hired staff attempting to make drinks. When this $19 drink came out, it looked like the rim of salt was touched with fingers and a lot of it was missing. However, my friend desperate for a drink or morsel of anything, decided to just have it as it came. She said it was delicious and the best thing she had. One hour and a half later!!! Our food came out. My medium rare lamb was cooked through and the pasta with red sauce came out with a cream sauce, but there was NO way we were going to send anything back as we were pretty hangry at this point. The potatoes were delicious, the rice extremely plain. All 8 of us agreed that for the price, service and quality of food, we would not be returning, although my friend said if the passionfruit drink was on the happy hour menu, she would consider it. All in all, very disappointed.

Opa! of Greece - Tsawwassen Mills…read more 5000 Canoe Pass Way, Tsawwassen, BC Opa! of Greece is a well-known quick-service chain specializing in Greek-inspired cuisine, offering a variety of Mediterranean dishes at accessible prices. Located in the heart of Tsawwassen Mills' food court, this location provides a convenient option for shoppers seeking a fast, casual meal. While the food is serviceable, some dishes lack the depth of flavor and portion sizes expected from a satisfying Greek dining experience. Food Calamari and Salad - 6/10 The dish consists of crispy fried calamari topped with onions, accompanied by a mixed salad. While the calamari had a light crunch, the portion size was underwhelming, and the texture leaned slightly chewy rather than tender. The seasoning was mild, making it an average offering that could have benefited from a more pronounced flavor profile. The salad, though fresh, was fairly basic, serving more as a complement rather than an enhancement to the dish. Rice Snack Bowl - 7/10 A simple yet well-executed option, the rice snack bowl features warm pita, fresh tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños. The combination of ingredients provided a satisfying mix of textures and flavors, with the slight heat from the jalapeños adding a welcome kick. While not particularly complex, this dish delivered on its promise of a light, flavorful snack. Service - 7/10 Service was prompt and efficient, with staff maintaining a friendly demeanor despite the fast-paced food court environment. Orders were prepared quickly, making it a reliable choice for those in a hurry. Price Pricing is affordable, making Opa! a budget-friendly option for Mediterranean-inspired fast food. The portion sizes, while not overly generous, are reasonable for the price point. Ambiance - 8/10 Situated within the spacious and well-lit food court, the dining area is clean and bright, offering ample seating. While it lacks the charm of a standalone Greek eatery, it provides a functional and comfortable space for a quick meal. Verdict Opa! of Greece at Tsawwassen Mills delivers a decent fast-food take on Mediterranean cuisine. While the flavors are enjoyable, the portions and execution leave room for improvement. The rice snack bowl was a highlight, but the calamari could use a more refined preparation. For those seeking a quick and affordable Greek-inspired meal, it's a convenient option, but not necessarily a destination-worthy experience. A good choice for a quick, casual bite.
