She cared about every small thing that mattered to us, from making sure every piece of decor was perfect, the setup looked exactly as I wanted it and even asking thoughtful questions about how my sister parted her hair for makeup and what kind of nail inspiration or dress details would best reflect her. Those kinds of details may seem small, but to a grieving family they mean absolutely everything. It showed us that she truly cared about honoring our sister as a person. Jennifer was also unbelievably responsive and supportive. Our family sent many texts and emails throughout the process, and she answered every single one with patience and reassurance. She never made us feel like we were asking too much. Instead, she made us feel supported and understood. Everything during the services and visiting hours was handled with such care, precision, and dignity. They were very responsive to all of our questions and really made the whole process much easier than I thought it would be. We really appreciated that as we were still trying to process our Mom's passing. They're the best! The need to deal with setting up funeral and cremation services can come up at a moment's notice (like they did for my family) and all throughout, Tranquility was there with information and explanations to help me make an informed decision. The service I received was impeccable. I dealt with Brian Dixon for my San Francisco Bay Area needs and he was not only professional, knowledgeable and courteous; he was friendly, supportive and proactive. He was able to fax and email forms to me as needed and the entire organization was available at a moment's notice via phone or email. All this and the lowest prices I found. Now, not that we want to be cheap when it comes to setting up a cremation, but... also don't want to spend more than necessary for the exact same treatment and results. Again, they explained all of their pricing and it was the most competitive - all the while being professional and truly supportive. I recommend them highly and will use their services again, as needed. (Hopefully not anytime soon.) Top notice service…read more It is extremely difficult to try and plan for a loved one but O'Connor is second to none when it comes to mortuary services. We called and scheduled an appointment. The initial meeting - we were immediately greeted at the door and someone was expecting us. We discussed the floor options, the ceremony, the casket, markers etc - all with the right temperament and sensitivity. Re the embalming - that was a very respectful experience. The overall ceremony was good and under the circumstances we were very happy with O'Connor and highly recommend their services.
