Missed an infection as well as a failing root canal, even though I'd had multiple infections in the same tooth. Refused to prescribe an antibiotic even though the pain was rapidly getting worse; told me it would be solved by a mouth rinse, and that the tooth was healthy. Ended up having to find a dentist open on a Saturday in order to get antibiotics and a time set for an extraction. Update...ended up having to get an emergency extraction and grafts because the infection was destroying my bone. Would have avoided a lot of grief if this dentist had just listened to my history and looked a little closer. read more

my wife had four fillings done here, they all came out while flossing within six months. they only actually have a small number of qualified dentists, the rest of their staff is dental assistants with no prior experience or education required. If you need quality care and don't want to pay for all the work getting redone, don't waist your time and money, even on their "discount plan". read more

Went in hoping to have a broken tooth extracted, I waited for about a half hour to see the dentist. The chair handles were broken and the chair was really dirty. I'm pregnant, they took X-rays without a bib, and she wanted a 3-D X-ray, I wasn't stoked when the assistant walked away because I assume the amount of radiation- and they still didn't treat my tooth, the dentist said they didn't have anyone there to extract it.... Which just seemed weird after I heard the guy in the next chair getting one. Regardless, I was fine going somewhere else but they really just seemed to be in it for the $$$, which isn't usually a good sign. Won't go back. read more

This dental practice started an extraction procedure on me, about half way through the procedure, they decided not to take my insurance anymore and with no other options given, i was forced to get another dentist in the middle of getting several implants. They accepted my insurance at the start but then decided not to take it. I have Atena so its not some off brand insurance. In my opinion, they have Interesting ethics in this practice. I went in on an emergency appointment. I had a horrible toothache. It turned out my impacted. Wisdom tooth had pushed against another tooth and cracked it. They proceeded to take out my impacted wisdom tooth, and the other tooth that was cracked in the process. They cracked my other tooth and exposed to nerve. I had to go to two other dentist, one of which was an oral surgeon to repair the mistakes that were made which included me having have bone graphs put in. I was an extreme pain for a week and a half after they did this procedure. I kept calling them and telling them I was an extreme pain and they were just told me to take Tylenol and when did I want to schedule a cleaning. I wasn't until I was able to see another dentist I finally had some relief. I did tell other people and my son was not listening to me and went there and they also made a mistake in which he had to go to yet another dentist to correct it I've talked to several other people and not one person has told me of a positive experience. All they kept doing the entire time I was in there was asking me about when I was going to schedule a cleaning and then proceeded to keep calling me. I even paid for the year long maintenance program subscription and never went back again. read more

Fit me in when I had a chipped tooth on a Saturday. Experience at office was great. When I called call center, they said dentist I saw was not at this office for me to make a follow up appt, so I made an appt with my previous dentist in Westminster. When I went to my regular dentist and rec'd my ex rays, the ex rays were not digital, pics inverted and tooth needing repair was mislabeled as left lower molar instead of right. I was looking for a dentist that accepts my insurance and to fix my chipped tooth. They were able to accommodate me. Staff was friendly, but my experience was just ok. I feel like the dental hygienist who did my cleaning did not do a really good job. I didn't feel like my teeth felt clean. She also dragged the whole floss between my teeth instead of lifiting it up, so that made me cringe. She did it twice. also after my cleaning the Dr., came to talk to me about the chipped tooth, teeth exam, and cleaning. And after they were like ok your done, but did not fix my chipped tooth until I said, so we're not going to fix this today? They both said, oh yeah we can do that if you like. I said. Yes, that's what I've been waiting for. So the tooth was fixed, teeth was cleansed, but I did not feel happy leaving. Needless to say, I'm not going back. I found another dentist near by and I'm much more happier. read more

the staff was very kind and informative and were willing to make sure i felt comfortable and not hurting whenever they preformed on mouth. they gave me a good cleaning and recommended me treatments to better my teeth and gums. Even while busy they let me know ahead of time that times might be delayed more then usual and i was okay with it. read more

I would not recommend to anyone this Dental Office in Firestone. After many visits the issues were not resolved and the temporary was a disaster. I offered to pay out of my pocket for a second temporary and that was even worse than the first one. I went to a different Dental practice in Boulder and they laughed when they saw my temporary and said that they don't even do this kind of temporary anymore because of the chocking hazard. read more

Actually had a root scaling done I live in Longmont but someone told me to go and check these guys out and I had been going to a local place that still has students going there over off of hover and 17th avenue anywho I've been going there for years well long enough I guess I just want to say I don't want to say years but I got to say I hate the dentist I hate the experience I hate the trauma that you feel afterwards I I'm terrified and I went to these guys and I had a root scaling done and I have to say they're phenomenal!!!! You know I didn't even need to be injected through the roof of my mouth to my eyeball like the other people did this was of course my anxiety was high as it normally is at these things but they just put a topical on me on my first two quads and then when I went back they put a little bit of you know they shot me with the numbing medication because I did have a little bit heavier build up on one side but it was like I was numb but it wasn't like my whole face was numb like I didn't feel like the aftermath of a stroke you know so I just wanted to say that they they are awesome kind understanding patient and I told my son I said you got to go there they are really good at what they do!!!!!! read more

I was recommended to this place by someone who has never had any dental work other then a cleaning. Which was a HUGE mistake. Dr. Piper told me that I needed a crown fixed that I only had on for around 2 years when they should last a lot longer. Wasn't quite sure why he recommended me to replace it but he's the Dr so I trusted him. After a long and agonizing day of replacing the crown I decided to not go back for my next cleaning. I went to a new dentist and he showed in my x Ray that this new crown Dr piper put on is not fitted on my tooth correctly. I can actually see my crown is not secured. I have to replace this crown and only after 6 months. Dr piper is a nice guy but is going to cost me $1500 for a mistake he made and should have realized and corrected it when he saw the mistake. read more

I see that all of the reviews here are really good, however, I had a completely different experience. I started seeing Dr. Piper around April of last year and, of course, he was great in the beginning and agreed to work with me on a payment plan for what my insurance didn't pay. The payment plan was worked out through his office and was automatically taken out each month. Dr. Piper knew that I had a cracked tooth in the front of my bottom teeth, but for whatever reason, chose not to fix it at the time. I was seeing Dr. Piper in Hudson so when I found out he moved to Firestone, I thought I would still go to Hudson for my dental work with the new dentist. To be completely honest, I didn't like the guy from the minute I sat down, so I decided to go ahead and make an appointment with Dr. Piper in Firestone. I have two broken teeth, and I have lost a filling and a cap, all of it worked on by Dr. Piper. When I drove to Firestone for my appointment he reneged on the payment plan and wanted more money. He wasn't even willing to fix his own screw ups without more money. He could have called me to tell me this, but apparently it was better for me to drive over there so he could humiliate me in front of his staff and the patient next to me. The least he could have done was call me and tell me all of this before I drove over there. Also, if he wasn't ok with the payment plan why did he allow it to begin with? He asked me if I knew how much money I owed him and I said yes, but no money was being taken from my bank account during the Covid shutdown. I was told the lady who did that wasn't in and nobody else knew how to do it. Not really sure what he expected me to do in that situation. He said he didn't work during Covid, but I find that hard to believe as the Hudson office continued to treat patients, even when it wasn't an emergency. I know this because a friend of mine had two appointments, neither of which were an emergency. I just find it sad that a dentist not only won't fix his own mistakes, but he won't stick to the payment plan that was agreed upon. I am absolutely pissed off because now I have to pay another dentist to fix his screw ups. Just proceed with caution if you are thinking about making an appointment with him in Firestone. read more

Scam!! 12 minutes in the chair and she claims I just had a full periodontal cleaning. Called my brother, who is a dentist and he said, "that's impossible to do that cleaning in under 30 minutes." I just got ripped off again by this practice. Every time you go up to pay, they ALWAYS say you owe more than the amount contracted for that service. I am pissed and want a refund!! read more

Monday 4-20-20 i called Dr. Piper and asked for his help. I had an infected tooth causing me terrible pain. He got me in and took xrays and examined my mouth. He gave me the bad news, but gave me options. He talked me thru the entire procedure and even though i am one of those people that hate dental "procedures" he did make it easy. I will go back as needed without the total fear that i have. Now if he could just get some gas....LOL. Thank you again. read more
