Which clearly after checking I was able to save hundreds of dollars by going to another dentist. I was a newer patient at this office, this was my second time doing buisness with Brighton smiles. My previous dentist had moved out of state and that's why I initially came to this office as I seen great reviews. I came to get my tooth checked out as I seen it was chipped. I was told It would require a crown. After the scheduling for the crown, and paperwork came back it was going to cost a pretty significant amount of money even after insurance. So like anyone that's on a budget I decided to get a second opinion at the old dentist office I was at previously, and check out what the prices would be for the same job from the new dentist that took over. I was shocked to see the price difference between companies. My old dentist office was able to get me a stronger zirconia crown that has a 10 year warranty on the tooth for several hundred dollars cheaper then Brighton smiles for a typical crown. I gave Brighton smiles a call and asked if they could match the price and see if they warranty the tooth like my old office. I was informed that the prices are fixed and they don't provide any warranty on the tooth. I also asked about the crown itself to make sure we were comparing apples to apples on product of the crown. Their zirconia crown was more money then then the crown they originally quoted me for. In comparing the prices of a zirconia crown it would be several hundred dollars cheaper after insurance to go to my old dentist office. As well as a warranty for 10 years. I cancelled my apt with Susie at Brighton smiles as I was going the route to save money and get more bang for the buck going to my old dentist office. After the cancellation I got a call back from Brighton smiles telling me that Dr Spencer don't think it's a good choice that I come back, that I should just go do all my future dental work elsewhere!! I was very shocked at this as I have never met another professional company not carry integrity while competing in the market they are in with this attitude and pride. I understand a quality dentist costs money. However when other dentists can do the same job and be competitive in the market, I expected so much more from Brighton smiles then to be this pety. I decided not to write a review about this last week as I figured maybe Dr Spencer just had a bad day, however I check my mail today and to my suprise, Brighton smiles even made it official by sending me a written notice that they won't be doing any work for me in the future. I won't say anything bad about the work that gets done at this office as the ladies that worked on my teeth were kind and did quality work. However when a business fails at being professional to the customer and buckles the very first sign of anyone double checking the market on the cost of work, its very sad to see such a high ranked reviewed dentist act like this is high school. I have a hard time believing I am the first person that Dr Spencer has sent mail to to discontinue services based on "trusting her work". I am sorry but trust is earned!! Since Brighton smiles made it official to discontinue my service for going to get a second opinion, even giving them the chance to match the other dentistry apples to apples, here is to making it official on the professional character of Brighton smiles, 1 star.

The sweetest assistant, Emily, kept reassuring me that everything was okay. She was such a doll. She was also training another young lady. Emily was very professional with her training. Dr. Shah was so lovely and calm and kept telling me they'd "seen worse". I honestly hope to calm my fears and become a regular patient here. Even the staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I would definitely tell anyone to go here!

Came here for a root canal and a crown. I'm disabled and use…read morea walker, it was difficult to navigate the tight maze of exam rooms and equipment in this place. Additionally, I have difficulty laying prone for any length of time, the staff and the endodontist seemed puzzled by this, and frankly exhibited a little impatience with my need to keep my back elevated to relieve pressure on my hips, which are severely arthritic. I understand that they need access to my mouth, but I can't be in excruciating pain during the procedure, either. The endodontist went right in with the shot, no gum swab to numb up the area first, and said they don't do that for this procedure. Every other root canal in my life was preceeded by the gum swab, so I was puzzled by this. When he got in there, he was pretty rough, pressure on my front teeth for leverage and a fair amount of pinching the cheek. I will say he was damn quick about it, and shortly after he was done, the regular dentist put my crown on. All in all, I was fairly discombobulated by the whole experience, and I don't think I'll be coming back.
