I've eaten here a couple of times and love the food. Coffee is really good as well. It's a little small and tight but yummy!

I have driven by this place at few dozen times and am just now finding out they have…read moregluten-friendly pastries! They advertise such on the window but it's obstructed from the road. It's not a dedicated GF kitchen but if you're NCGS like me you can partake. They have GF and GF/vegan, vegan, and non-GF non-vegan treats. I bought the mint brownie which was both GF and vegan. It was generously sized and I shared it with my kids. It was yummy. They do GF/vegan cinnamon rolls on Sunday and seasonal peach cobbler. Maggie herself was wonderful. She and I had an off the cuff conversation that my soul really needed. She had a lovely personality. I'm upset to read the other reviewer's discomfort with the tasteful rainbows displayed. For one, there's not that many. Chill. Secondly, rainbows are not a political statement -- they are a statement of values and that a business or a person is safe. Unfortunately safety for identity isn't guaranteed now and our politicians have turned this into a political statement, but people on both sides of the aisle are onboard with LGBTQ rights. People making comments about rainbows offending them are part of the reason why it's so important people have safe spaces. People's identities and rainbows share in common that they really don't affect you. Maggie apparently has a GF bread under works, which I look forward to hearing she has perfected. She has a punch card, too :) Open Weds -- Sun. Can't wait to try the rest!

We reached out to Laura for a private chef for our son's wedding dinner. We had a zoom meeting with…read moreLaura to go over some of the details and start a menu, that went very well. Chef Michael then organize the menu with my son and his fiancé. Chef Michael showed up and started his prep, he was very professional and approachable. His organization in the kitchen was amazing. We had 10 adults and three grandchildren at the tables. Chef Michael treated the kids with respect and described each dish as it came out. We had five appetizers, a couple salads, and the main with two sides. Everything was exceptional, we are still talking about it. We will remember this meal forever. Chef Michael packed up leftovers, and clean the kitchen immaculately. We couldn't be any happier with the service and the food that we received. The grandkids favorite course was the grilled octopus, amazing! We would definitely recommend and would do this again in a heartbeat. Thanks to Laura and Chef Michael

The menu selection/communication beforehand was great and I made last minute changes to plans that were easily accommodated. Setup and cleanup were fully taken care of and it was a seamless process that made my wife and I's wedding that much better. Finally, the food was incredible and there were plenty of leftovers. I'd recommend Honest to Goodness and Chef Laura to anyone.

I signed up to be an artist ( photographer) here and paid a couple months. Then I over hear (…read morewasn't informed) that they will be having an "artist in residency" a fancy way of saying someone will be living, perhaps illegally, in the studio. How is this professional? And not to even inform me. And to make matters worse, there is only one area where I can shoot where I can control the light which is where this person will be sleeping and living. There's a larger area I could have done my shooting if I wanted to move tables and chairs and easels but it has windows that allow light in and all though they said they would put some covers up, that never happened. Lastly, I referred figure model artists to the owner at her request..she acknowledged she got the email from my model friend but the owner never had the courtesy to reply. The owner said " they were having trouble connecting" this embarrassed me because it made me look flaky. How hard is it to send an email saying " thank you but not at this time"? I had to ask for a receipt for my rent. Got one, not the other. I never signed a thing, no accountability for either party. I had to ask that they build a Google calendar for artists to use. This just isn't a serious business. It's a hobby. This is a cool place that draws some great people/ artists....but alas the professionalism is non existent.

I was also keenly aware of the support and encouragement the artists gave to each other. Whatever your skill level, this is a great place to draw and if you like, get some feedback on your work and observe others' work as well. It was a pleasure working with Chandler. She made me feel comfortable from the start and I very much appreciate her inviting me to pose for her group. Hopefully, I will have the opportunity to do so again.
