I love Indian food, so that's not the issue, it just wasn't what I expected from a bakery that specializes in pies. I was looking through the options and asked the employee what their most popular pie was, pretty normal question, I think. But the response I got felt rude and kind of condescending. I was told, "Everybody has their favorite, all items are popular," in a tone that just made me feel like I shouldn't have asked. I'm all for supporting local spots, but customer service really matters. That interaction alone made me feel unwelcome, that will be my last time going there.

After my initial review, management proactively reached out to make things right. Not many restaurants take active measures to leave a better impression, and I 100% want to support their incredible service. We returned on a Monday at 11:30 AM and had a spectacular experience. The weather was beautiful, so we enjoyed the stunning outdoor seating area by the fountain and florals. Because it was a quieter weekday, we were seated immediately, our server was incredibly kind and attentive, and our food came out in just 15 minutes! The bread was toasted to the point that it was hard, making the sandwich difficult to enjoy. More importantly, the beef was very sparse for a $28 sandwich. It was advertised as chuck eye, but the meat I received was very lean and dry, lacking the tenderness and richness I'd expect from that cut. Based on this meal, I wouldn't order the French dip again. The fries were the highlight of the plate, but the sandwich wasn't worth the price.
