Dr. Zhao is amazing, and if you've ever had ANY persistent issues Id recommend visiting her tbf. I…read morestarted seeing her for extremely painful and irregular periods relating to endo. Traditional docs had told me there was nothing to do anymore. From the first visit, she listened to everything I had to say and examined me, then we immediately began treatment. She estimated 2-3 months minimum of treatment before Id be better, and she's consistently checked in on progress and made modifications as needed. I felt better in a week, and could see/feel even more results within the first month. 4 months later and I am baffled at the results. My quality of life has *massively* improved and its all thanks to her. She has a wonderful, kind bedside manner that makes you feel at ease, heard, and taken care of. The office staff are always helpful, kind, and wonderful to chat with too!!! If you're on the fence, please go see her!! :]

Since starting acupuncture in January 2026 I have not had a migraine since. I've had some mild headaches here and there (days I forgot to drink enough water, or ate garbage), but not my dreaded 3-4 day stuck in bed with all the lights off migraine terror. It's really been amazing. I'm now working with Dr. Zhao on all the other issues I've ignored for so long. The weird tennis elbow/carpal tunnel pain, insomnia, the random chronic things that I just learned to live in pain with. For new patients, you will go into a consultation and then almost seamlessly transition right in to treatment. So a consultation lasts like maybe 10-15 minutes and then the acupuncture (depending on what you have going on) may take 45 minutes. If you just want the consultation, no treatment, you will need to be very clear about this. Dr. Zhao is ready to work, so if you do NOT want treatment you'll need to speak up. My insurance unfortunately does not cover acupuncture ( I have an HSA) so I pay about $185 for cupping and acupuncture per session. I know with other insurance it would be about $15 co-pay. I recommend Dr. Zhao to everyone.

After years of trying Western medicine and multiple prescriptions, I was honestly losing hope. My…read moremom encouraged me to try TCM, and I'm so glad I did. At my first visit, Dr. Ann read my tongue and accurately described my health issues. She explained how organs support each other, the body's natural clock, and gave very practical lifestyle and diet guidance. The herbs felt pricey at first, but each bottle lasts a long time and focuses on restoring balance. Within weeks, my digestion and metabolism improved. Even my husband is now a believer after seeing results himself. I only wish I had found this earlier and hope more young people give TCM a chance.

It went down many other rabbit holes I did not need to go down. I was told about my low stomach acid, I knew this. So I was recommended a crapload of herb pills plus the ones I originally came for (hair loss) ended up spending $435. I took supplements for one week and started breaking out in hives. So I had to stop!!! Little did I know when you have the issues I have ... Chinese herbs will cause more reactions. So now I'm stuck with a load of Chinese herbs I can't use and im out cash. Do your homework before you come. Does it work. I'm sure it does just not for me.

Although small, you can feel that this will be a positive thing for your recovery as Dr. Han will never have more than 2 people at his office at a time. I woke up one day with my face droopy on Jun 4th 2021. I took two pictures and I shared the dates that I took those pictures. I came across Hoa Da Acupuncture because I had read that acupuncture was good therapy for Bells Palsy. I was hesitant at first to try this therapy but I did because my parents pushed me to trying it. The doctors did not prescribe anything for Bells Palsy besides steroids to relieve inflammation to my nerves. I started therapy with Dr. Han I believe on the 18th of Jun and I saw immediate results that I decided to go for the full therapy. Dr explained that the more times I come to the office the better my recovery time. I've gone to acupuncture approximately 7 visits and I share my results which is at approximately 85% recovery. If your hesitant to go to cure your Bells Palsy don't . All of my family and colleagues have told me that their friend and family members with this same condition have lasted more than what I lasted with Bells.

I was so happy and excited at first when I got pregnant in November 2019 thinking Dr. Hung's herbs and advice really helped. However, I had a miscarriage in December 2019, after enjoying the good news of being a mom for just a little more than a week or so. I was devastated, thinking I must have done something wrong. Did I not sleep enough? Was I too anxious? Is it because my body wasn't ready? Or maybe it was the two sips of coffee that I accidentally drank. Dr. Hung tried to help save my baby with his herbs but it didn't work, which this was no one to blame for sure. I thought, maybe this just wasn't meant to be. Dr Hung had given me treatment with herbs to help my body recover from the lost, which restored my energy and body quickly. Shortly after there comes the pandemic. While I am still taking the herbs to prepare for my next pregnancy, we continued meeting through telehealth. During those 2 months of treatment online, my body had gotten worse. My heart beat has become much faster and I will easily faint. Dr Hung said it was probably due to stress and my body not having enough blood, so he adjusted the herbs. I also decided to visit him in person again as I thought maybe his treatment decisions would be more accurate if he can feel my pulse. A few months after, we've been trying to conceive but still have not succeed. I even took my husband with me to see Dr. Hung to get prepared. In October, Dr Hung told us we can stop taking the herbs and try to conceive (Officially). That's when I realized my heart rate has drastically increased even while resting. I would faint very easily and I have lost a lot of weight. I texted Dr Hung about my situation and he told me to go back to him if I don't get pregnant. With a rising concern of my health, I decided to consult my family doctor regarding my situation. After the blood test, I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, which I have no idea I had it prior to this check up. I was disappointed because Dr. Hung wasn't able to detect such issues until I did my blood test. But I still had a little faith in him as he rest assured that Chinese medicine can help with my condition. Constantly reminding me of his credentials and 30 years of experience, he said he can use Chinese herbs to help me and it would be better than taking western meds due to the known and unknown side effects that may even affect my next pregnancy. I asked him if taking the Chinese herbs would affect my thyroid going from hyper to hypo like what the western medicine do, and Dr. Hung said it will not because Chinese herbs will balance the values, unlike western medicine. One month into taking the Chinese herbs, my condition has improved but it also went into the other end of extreme. I became super tired all the time, and also gaining weight. My face would look super puff. I consulted Dr Hung and he said not to worry because the weather is changing and it is getting colder. It is normal to feel sleepy, tired, and feel swollen a little bit. A week later that appointment I took another blood test, before my appointment to the specialist. It was found that not only that I no longer have hyperthyroidism, but I went to the next extreme of being hypothyroidism. The TSH value was extremely high. I was so upset and disappointed with the result. After speaking to Dr. Hung, his explanation was "this proves my meds are super effective!". He explained how different people may have a different reaction to the medications, but in general his meds are effective. He reminded me again his credentials and experience with both Chinese and western medicine. But he refused to acknowledge his misjudgment on my situation, and his incompetence in listening to my concerns with my body even I've told him how I felt. He also went back and refuted what he said about the herbs wouldn't cause such situation by reasoning with how each body reacts differently. He also refused to let me know what are the ingredients in his medication which my specialist would love to know what's in my body and to make the right judgment for my treatment, saying this raises copyright issue. While I truly believe Chinese medicines has its own benefits and I am still a true believer in it, I would like to summarize by saying there are things Chinese medicine can't substitute. A good solid blood test is one for sure, which I think Dr hung would agree himself too. But on top of that, while Chinese herbs can definitely help in many ways, it can also masks the symptoms of what truly lies beneath your body. Do be aware that you won't get to know what you're actually eating and putting inside your body unless Dr Hung would graciously let you know the ingredients. I hope people who are reading this will be aware of the risks and make the right decisions for themselves, especially for people who have similar situation as me.
