Full transparency. I've only had 2 massages in my life. Woke up with feeling a lot of tension on my shoulder blades with the sensation going up to my neck. Likely due to staring at a screen at work with poor posture. Could not stretch it out at all. Was hesitant because all the massage places near me look so damn shady. Front is usually covered and they are open odd hours. Found this on Yelp with plenty of reviews and next to a busy plaza. Glad I did, the lady that helped me did a great job. It hurt, but a good hurt. What yoy would expect from a deep tissue massage. Left feeling much better. She listened when I told her I only wanted her to focus on my shoulder and upper back. I told her of a prior lower back injury and wanting the area to be left alone. I appreciate she not making a fuss when I told her I'd be keeping my briefs on too. Overall, will come back next time I feel my upper back start to ache. I did the 30 minute deep tissue massage for $50 ($53 with card fee). I saw a lot of reviews about tipping. The lady that helped me never mentioned a thing about a tip. I gave her $20 at the end though for her help. read more

I've been going to this spot for years, but the last two visits were very unpleasant. The first time was about six months ago when I asked for deep tissue and I didn't get that. When I asked if the masseuse can add more pressure she got upset and she started to whisper things. I paid for deep tissue and wasn't getting what I wanted but I wasn't happy she was upset. Today I went and got a deep tissue which it wasn't because I fell asleep during my session of "deep tissue" and when I left a tip the masseuse wasn't happy with it and said she always gets $20 or more because deep tissue is hard on her hands. She then took my card and charged me $15 because of the surcharge for using a card. It is sad to see a place I've been going to years go down like this. I will not be going back again. read more

I've been getting massages off and on here for more than 8 years. They offer deep tissue and other modes just depending on what pressure you need. Be sure to tell the masseuse if you need more or less pressure! I like the rooms with the overhead handles they use to balance when walking on your back. This is for those that definitely want deep tissue work. Different staff have some variations in their style but in general they do mostly the same massage. Just let them know if you want more in any particular area. They offer foot massages too. They have a small fee for credit cards but cash is best. The one negative is that.. as others have mentioned some staff will pressure you for more tip if they feel you didn't offer enough. Make your own judgement and tip appropriately but keep in mind to give feedback during your treatment session. read more

Mediocre massage barely any strength but I know they work for tips so I still gave $8 even though massage felt like she was putting on water lotion. Then this lady said if I had more for tip? One star for the friendly service and pretty much that's it. The massage was $50 and I handed her $100 (prior to the service). I was waiting for my change and the lady kept saying "later" and I said why later. I ended getting my change back, but found it odd that I would get my change after the service, not sure if that's how they do it there. Wow. What a weird massage. Full disclosure. We used a groupon for 2 massages. Maybe I should stop Groupons altogether. Nah... places just need to offer better services! They were about 10 minutes delayed getting us into the room. And it's not cuz there wasn't any room. The place was totally empty. They were just busy chatting w each other. No one seemed to care that we were there. We finally got into the group room. I've had plenty these foot massages. It's called a foot massage. But, it's really a full massage from head to toe. The only reason why I asked is because they would make that part of your massage before but when me and my cousin would go in they would do it for her and not me. As a general rule, I'm disinclined to leave negative reviews unless something is particularly bad. In this case, my experience was completely unacceptable. Please read on. I showed up for my scheduled appointment, the last for the day at 7:30pm for a 90 minute massage. Things went normally, and, to be fair, my massage was good but nothing outstanding. My 90 minute session, however, ended early by 10 minutes. I'm not sure if this is because it was the last of the day and she just wanted to close, or some other reason, but regardless this is not ok. Where things went completely into left field was when I wanted to tip the massage therapist and she noticed my cash tip in my hand and her expression made clear that she was displeased with the money that she saw. Setting aside that I had not received my full massage, I do not at all take to the idea of being told how much to tip, least of all by the person receiving it. I withdrew my tip and informed her as such, and that I would not be tipping her accordingly. I turned to leave and was shocked to see the woman follow me. Long story short, this woman literally chased me out into the parking lot, screaming "fuck you!" at me. All the way to my car. I had to make my way into my car while she harassed, insulted, and screamed obscenities at me. As I drove away she gave me double middle fingers and again shouted "fuck you!". Not a relaxing experience at all. The massage continued to be rough even after I asked for softer. When i was on my stomach, the lady took the blanket off and exposed my butt, I was not comfortable with that all. The blanket should stay on private parts, and she massaged my butt, I was incredibly uncomfortable. When she asked me to turn over, I had to ask for the blanket so my chest wouldn't be exposed. I believe that they run by appointment only, but their hours are 10a-10p so which is super convenient and SO worth driving from Huntington Beach to. The massage itself was the best I've ever had!!! I would have upgraded to the 90 min. massage if they weren't booked up at that time (2 of my friends were also getting massaged at that time). Honestly so far this is the best price I've got for a 90mins massage. It was great, but i feel i got scammed a little. So there was supposed to be a 20mins foot massage too but i don't recall a single second of the masseuse touching anywhere on my foot ... i told them and they are like no we did it and you were asleep. Altho i was completely awake just not moving at all. The massage was over all great, and the price was great too. Just one thing, they have a huge expectation on tips compared to how much time you choose. I am rating this place 3 stars only because this time my massage and my bf was HORRIBLE!!! Both ladies sucked and they wouldn't stop talking while massaging us. Technique; no technique at all! I been here 2x prior and had massage done by the same gentlemen. He definitely knows he's pressure points. Although is kinda hard and rough at times it totally worth the pain. The next day I can definitely feel the difference my body isn't as tight and my shoulders feel at eased. I wouldn't come here again for any other therapists. Found this place via Groupon. They had a foot/body combo massage for like $20.00. Even a bad massage is better than no massage, so I bought it. I had to call several times to get an appointment that worked with my schedule but finally scored one. If you have very specific days/times that work best for you it seems best to book out at least a week or two. The space is nothing fancy, just a typical day spa with 'private' massage rooms created with curtains (it was $6.00 for a private area - worth it). Everything was clean, the spa was quiet with the typical relaxing sounds/music playing softly. Overall I had a very nice combo massage. I wasn't hassled for a tip before the massage like others mentioned in their reviews. My tech was thorough, seemed well trained and asked me several times during the session if I was ok with the pressure, if I was comfortable, etc. Their regular, non Groupon prices are very reasonable. We got curtains not even a private room! We could literally hear the people right next to us. When we handed the ladies their tips one lady said to my friend: " a 90 minute massage is a lot of work very hard." We gave a 12 percent gratuity. So to tell us that's not enough! Really! TERRIBLE! I purchased a groupon for a 70 minute foot and body combo massage. The price was right, so I was very excited! Unfortunately, that is where the good news ends. I tried to follow the instructions on how to redeem the Groupon, but the phone number given is "no longer in service". I then Google searched the phone number and called. This should have been my first red flag. Online, the hours says open at 10 am and it was about 10:30am, so I assumed my call would be answered by someone at the front desk. It was not. I got someone's cell phone and the woman was not even at the location so she was unable to check the appointment book so I could schedule my massage. I called back and scheduled a time and day. They took down my name and number and confirmed my appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, the lady sitting behind the desk looked shocked that I had walked in. I gave her my name and she said there were no appointments. She asked for my number and again, no appointments. At this point, I was frustrated but figured I will reschedule. Unfortunately, the lady was extremely unhelpful and could not tell me a time when I could reschedule. I told her I would have to leave then and not give her my business and she said "sorry".
