The house we bought in 2017 had been on the market for over a year so when we moved in we knew we needed to get pest control. Right away we saw the difference of fewer bugs when they started spraying. DeLane and Donny were very helpful in identifying some of the bugs we had in the beginning and educated us, since we were out of state, as how to keep the bugs away. They have been patient with my many questions and are very open to answering them. Recently, in our reminder letter as to when Donny would be spraying, DeLane offered to put screens on the air vents that go to the roof to keep out scorpions, and other critters. When I called Open Range for a quote I suspected Termites on my house, but I was unsure and didn't want to be pressured into anything. Delane took the time to explain how the bugs work, and what the recommended treatment was. He offered to send one of his highly qualified employees out to walk the perimeter of my house with me and to go over the treatment options and fees. I received an immediate follow up call from his employee Sarah to schedule a site visit. Sarah was flexible and agreed to come out first thing in the morning and even offered to bring me a Starbucks on the way! Since both times I found them in my masterbath, I wanted to go with a company that seemed to know what they were doing and the pests they were controlling. We talked about the bathroom fan and some possible future fixes and changes in my house that would cause me to find Scorpions after 3 years of nothing (newly installed landscaping and irrigation). We moved to AZ about a year ago and have been using Open Range Pest Control during this time. We have been extremely happy with their services. I did not have one spider, roach, or scorpion in my house all year. Outside I saw a few crickets, and I mean a FEW, but nothing else....and our yard backs up to open desert. They make it very easy to schedule an appointment with their email system, and are quick to post a paid invoice. When you email them, they get back to you quickly. Today I had them apply pre emergent weed control. The technician was very careful to apply the product so that it was not on my pavers, but also make sure that our gravel was completely covered. The product they use does not smell. We had another company apply a treatment previously, and it smelled so bad you didn't want to go outside, and I had yellow stains on my pavers, and walls. I was thrilled to see that Open Range uses a product that is much more consumer friendly. We have had the same technician all year, which is great. He is polite, neat, respectful and doesn't look like he belongs on America's Most Wanted! We have been very happy with this company!!! read more

I am very happy so far with the service at Open Range. I walked the yard today after record breaking heat expecting to see scorpions all over the place and did not see 1. We had been seeing dozens every night outside and a few inside each week before Open Range came out. Our worst invaders were the almost microscopic baby scorpions that were crawling out of the cracks literally. We have grass, trees and a pool so I was just hoping for a little better but Open Range has exceeded my expectations. Whatever they use for scorpions is a miracle working secret weapon. We were trapped in a 2 year contract when we first moved in with a company that charged over $200 a quarter and we were still seeing scorpions and all kinds of bugs with them spraying twice a month. He was at all times neat, clean, and professional as he talked with us. Just had Tim w/ORPC come out for the 1st time at the recommendation of a friend and W-O-W I am impressed! I was pretty certain I saw a black widow a few nights ago, which is what prompted me to find a pest management company. To start, the Owner, Delane, was vacationing to celebrate his 10 yr wedding anniversary (congratulations & good for you for prioritizing such an important life event-makes me want to choose your company even more for knowing your priorities) so I wasn't sure if I'd get a call back or even get something scheduled that fit my schedule. But, I left a voice message & my call was returned even sooner than the time mentioned in the message, so that was impressive! Then, although I scheduled on Friday afternoon, they were kind enough to come out next day (the only day for a while I'd be able to make it work)!!
