    Blackened Chicken Caesar Salad

Open Road in Reston is part of the Metropolitan Hospitality Group that has restaurants such as Trio, Circa, Salt. We certainly enjoy the food at all their restaurants and always had great service at all locations. Open Road serve American cuisine and have brunch items on their menu. Popcorn is served free when you sit and they're generous on refilling if you want. Good food at reasonable prices as well as one of the best burgers in the DMV area. This chain of restaurants is on our regular rotation for dining out.

We hosted a small brunch gathering on Saturday morning and everything went so perfectly! Our guests raved about the food and cocktails, and the indoor "patio" space is open and airy. Bailey and Gabby were very attentive and kind. The ideal location to celebrate!

Visited on 12/26/25. Overall positive experience. Enjoyed my mocktail and wings as an appetizer. We split a pizza and it was just okay. My friend got the Caesar salad and said she blackened chicken was good. My husband loved the complimentary popcorn.

My biggest regret about dinner here was that I did not have the opportunity to go into the tasting room to sample some of their liquors. That said, everything else about my group's dinner was just about perfect. The atmosphere was fun, including great music. Service was on point. Their crafted cocktails, using their own products, were delicious. The food came out quickly and was quite tasty. The spice combo on my Peruvian chicken dinner was amazing, and the dressing on the salad which accompanied it complemented those flavors well. Everyone else at the table raved equally about their dinners and appetizers. It's great when a distillery can produce both exceptional foods and drinks. Open road certainly knows what they are doing, and I'm glad to have had the chance to visit. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Stopped for a quick bite while out shopping. Server was busy but we never waited for anything. We had chicken nachos and drinks. They were supposed to be on special but we didn't get the happy hour price so check the bill before you pay. It was midday Saturday but I am sure the place is hopping on a Saturday night.

Great atmosphere (5 ): High ceiling, open concept with an industrial look. All wooden tables with a combination of high tops and regular 4-person tables, plus a few luxurious looking booths on one side. Bar towards the back with multiple TV with sports channels playing. There is a whiskey tasting room, a game room, and another standing room only bar. We were just there on a Friday night and there was a solo live performance. Not too loud as the place is large enough to absorb the sound, and I was still able to carry a conversation. Great vibes! Food (4 ) Regular bar menu items. Good selection of local beers. Everything is delicious, portion on the small side - We had the Jambalaya and Steak Frites; an old fashioned and a couple beers. Service (4 ) The place was very busy, we don't see our waitstaff often but he's friendly, took our orders and everything came fine. We did ask for the water.

Landed up in this restaurant by chance. It is a distillery I suppose. So was surprised that the inside is family friendly with nice decor and a large dining area. The menu is quite elaborate. The food was decent. I had the blacked salmon and bread pudding. The complimentary popcorn was a nice touch.

Family told me about this place, really enjoyed. Large space in RTC, plenty of parking. Food was really good, had a chicken salad. Rest of group enjoyed theirs including the margaritas. Only knock was service, not terrible, but great confusion over Brunch vs Regular menu and had to ask twice for a few things. I will definitely be back.

    - the French Onion burger with their home cut fries

Their weekend brunch is great. Quick service and great food at a good price point for RTC.

Good food. Good entertainment. Would recommend!

One of the highlights of the night was meeting the owner, Jason. We bonded over our shared Cantonese backgrounds and even got to meet his aunt, who was visiting from California and happened to be sitting next to us. It made the whole experience feel incredibly welcoming and personal. We ordered the Dynamite Roll, which was a solid choice with 8 generous pieces, and the Szechuan spicy wontons, which were juicy with just the right amount of heat. If you visit, definitely grab a seat at the bar. The bartenders are friendly, engaging, and really add to the experience. We were treated to a complimentary shot of Jäger with Jason and even got to sample their Lychee Pearl cocktail because the bartender had made an extra. The cocktails really stood out. Instead of masking everything with sugary juices, they use extracts and creative techniques to build balanced drinks that complement the flavors beautifully. Jason also mentioned that their cocktail specials change every month, so we already told him we'll be back regularly to see what new creations he comes up with.

I've been here a few times and tried several different things. All average or basic. Nothing wow. I think people come here for the drinks and vibes. Which is fair. Cool ambience. Music, dim lighting, comfortable booths and plenty of parking. Hard pass for me. Prices are a bit high given the portions and quality. But whatever. Don't take my word for it, give them a try for yourself. I've had enough. Unlike their dishes, I'm not salty, just won't be back

She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and struck that perfect balance of checking in without hovering. Great service can elevate a meal, and Maria did exactly that. The food was excellent. The paella was delicious, the patatas bravas were flavorful, and both the pork belly and bacon-wrapped dates were standouts. The sangria was also fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. Now, I've had Spanish food in places where it's a little more authentic and refined, so this wasn't necessarily the best Spanish food I've ever had. But considering we're in Virginia, Barcelona absolutely exceeded expectations. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, the patio setting, and especially the exceptional service combined to create a five-star experience. If you're in Reston and looking for a memorable dinner, Barcelona should be at the top of your list. Ask for Maria if you can she is fantastic.

Fried perfectly & the filling was so tasty, pork ribs was my absolutel favorite with a rich Smokey taste! These were super tender as well. Very mediocre food, great service, good drink options, all in a hotel restaurant environment…read more We came here after work and were all staying at the Marriott so it was convenient. It's a nice atmosphere, not too stuffy but elegant enough for a nice dinner. The drinks are good, well mixed, and nice options whether you drink wine, beer, cocktails, or non-alcoholic options. The food, however, is very mediocre. They started with an amuse-bouche that was a fruit tart with cheese. Nice, light, and well balanced. We ordered the tuna tartare, along side a Japanese sweet potato dish and a salmon tartare that were both specials. The tartares were fine. Something you would get anywhere. The presentation was nice but their crisp or cracker was kind of useless as it doesn't have the structural strength to use as a vessel to eat the fish. The sweet potato was probably the best in terms of flavor albeit very rich. The main course is well things really fell apart. The beef dishes people ordered were either under cooked or over cooked. I got the grilled prawns which were limp and mushy. The veggies were underseasoned. The braised beef was small. I think everyone was underwhelmed with the main course. It's fine as a after work dinner spot but if you care about food, there are better options nearby.
