The telephone experience with this practice is awful. An urgent call for Dr sherik responded with routing me to the same computer program. I just wanted to thank you for your prompt attention to my concerns. Your Operations Manager did reach out to me to discuss the incident and I am very pleased with our conversation. I was also contacted by Dr. Finklea who also extended his apologies, he was not aware of what had transpired in his office and was just informed today. Being his patient for the past few years and experiencing his professionalism and awesome personality has always made it a pleasure to travel 90 minutes one way for my treatment. Receiving Dr. Finklea's call today only reinforces the type of person he is and why I have the utmost respect for him. Although I had a one time poor experience, it is something that the practice has addressed so that a new protocol is created. I went here for my first visit this week. The receptionists were very friendly and welcoming. Despite other reviews complaining about long waits - I did not have a long wait time which I told was rare. When making my follow up appointment, the receptionist assisted me in getting an earlier appointment to avoid a long wait time. read more

Just like the office where u get to listen for a hour to chatty receptionists. and then sit for over 2 hours for everyone you need to see, the surgical center is just as bad . Sit for 1 hour after getting registered to at least an hour delay in surgery. It is now going on noon. Totally unacceptable for Wills Eye. read more

I had cataract surgery by Dr Elizabeth Dale in December of 2022. Ever since then my vision in that eye has gone downhill. Started with a series of floaters which got worse and worse until it became a wall of floaters. She Just assured me it would go away in time. Then my vision got blurry and I saw wavy lines. When I tried to make an appointment to see her quickly I was told I couldn't and had to see different doctors. One was Dr Baines who had all of the bedside manner of a Catholic nun running a schoolroom. Then I had to see Dr Xia who was good and I like her but it seems as if Dr Dale took me for a ride and left me out in the middle of nowhere and I have to find my way back. she just pushed me aside when she operated and had her money. Now I can't see out of the eye very well at all and quality of life is pretty bad. I'm not blind but I used to enjoy reading and I cannot now. Whatever you do stay away from Mid-Atlantic partners. Try a different place. read more

Appointment was scheduled for 10:45, got there at 10:30, had to cancel my appointment at 11:15 because I wasn't seen or attended to. They also have a 'grace period' of 20 minutes for patients but they can take over 30? Maybe don't schedule over 5 patients when there's only 2 doctors on call. Stupid read more

This review is based off my daughter's experiences with Leonard Nelson, MD. Had the displeasure of having appointments with him three times. First appointment, he was fine, referred to us by our primary doctor, so I held him to a high standard. While I totally understand that people are all different, our initial interaction was cold, not partially inviting and had me question why the physician decided to work with children. With that being said, I thought that maybe the next visit would be better, everyone has a bad day; next visit, the same, not personable, extremely short. Our third appointment would be our last. Previous to going back to him, my daughter complained that her glasses were blurry and she could not see the classroom's board (with the new glasses he prescribed). I took the glasses back to the business that made them and they clarified that the prescription was correctly filled. Back to Dr. Nelson we go. He was extremely condescending, he asked her questions about that glasses to the point were she became totally uncomfortable; while she attempted to explain, he pretty much told us, she can see perfectly, she doesn't know what she was talking about; his conclusion, nothing is wrong! Not only was it a terrible experience, but I had to pay outlandish fees that are not covered by insurance for both visits and an inaccurate prescription. So not only have you made my child upset, but she still can't SEE!!!!! After taking her to a different ophthalmologist (Thank God for insurance and options) she left with a smile and glasses she can actually use. Dr. Nelson, I read your bio and you came recommended due to your extensive medical knowledge/research, but it's clear that while you are extremely educated, you lack common decency on how you should treat people, especially children; if you can't or are not willing to respect what someone is saying to you about their health, how great of a job are you doing? 5 Stars for the front desk, -4 for the experience; do the math. read more

I went to this facility because they accepted my insurance. The trial pair of contacts were horrible I should have just asked for the bifocal contacts. After two weeks I did some research and found an FDA approved bifocal contact for people susceptible to dry eye. I called and left the product name and was told that they could order a trial pair of contacts. I have called biweekly for the last 3 months. I get the runaround and excuses. I asked for the RX for my contacts and the young man said it would take another Optometrist just as long. I asked him how could he possibly know that? The reason they will not give me RX for the bifocal contacts is that they want me to order from them but they are a lot cheaper online. They did, however, manage to send a bill for $50.00. When I called the billing department the young lady had no idea what she was talking about. I asked that someone give me a callback to explain the charge and someone did call but left no name or direct dial. As of today, I have not received another bill. I did manage to get lasses RX for my eyeglasses but the purpose of the visit was to get fitted for contacts that I had to pay for out of pocket. They will not see me again. read more

I go here to get my eye evaluations and have been using different doctors for years. I am typically pleased with the service that I receive once I am in the waiting room. However, more recently the wait time in the waiting room has been pretty long even with an appointment. read more

This review is for the Center City Office. I have been a patient at OP for over three years. Unfortunately, my most recent visit will be my last. I called to verify that I didn't need a referral three days before appt and was assured I did not. Of course I did, still that didn't turn me off. In previous visits, a nice older women was at the front desk she was always courteous and kind. This time, I walked in to the reception desk only to dismissively be pointed in the direction of a kiosk to register. No biggie, I walked over the the machine and began the process. When the machine didn't respond to my touch, I called over to the young white woman who was at the front desk to let her know the machine was not operational. Without looking up, she gruffly told me to keep trying. After a few minutes of it still not working, she came over and restarted the machine. Five additional elderly people with what appeared to be vision issues, all struggled to use the machine--you would have thought the woman would proactively help folks that the machine was stressing out, no dice. Anyway, I sat down and waited to be called. From 20 feet away, a middle aged African American woman shouted "My name" you do not have a referral, we can't see you." I reminded her of HIPPA with "excuse me, would you like to talk to me privately about my care? or should we have this conversation from across the room" She was apologetic, and relayed the message I asked her to reschedule, she told me she could get my PCP on the line, and I assured her, that the establishment was unlikely to fast track a referral. 20 minutes later, she gave up. I let her know that I needed a pair of trial lenses to hold me over (my contact prescription being expired was the reason for the visit). She had the nerve to tell me that trial lenses, the free "NOT FOR RESALE" contacts were $20 dollars a pair. I tried to explain to her I would not need a new date if I was just informed about the referral which I never needed before, but it didn't matter. I lost an hour of my time, $20 on two free contact lenses, and will never return. If you want to be treated respectfully, if you think that older people deserve to be treated respectfully. or if you'd prefer your personal medical business not be broadcasted, I suggest you stay away. It's a shame, Dr. Lee is top notch. They have lost a loyal patient. read more

Dr. Ayres is an outstanding physician. However,​ be prepared to wait and wait and wait to be seen. Unfortunately, the staff expects you to wait 2 hours to be seen. This is a disservice to the staff and patient. read more

This review is for Dr. Katie Schrack. Dr. Schrack is is an outstanding physician. She is extremely professional, thorough and moreover has a terrific caring patient manner. She thoroughly explains your condition and is very kind. The practice is well organized and the Ophthalmic technicians are similarly professional and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Schrack, she is a great doctor, I actually look forward to seeing her for my yearly appointment. read more
