Today, I had the newest Ophthalmologist for my second time. Dr. Jazmin Logendra saw me today after making the appointment yesterday because I was having issues because of my age. She spent forty five minutes with me, had other technicians run other scans and tests on my eyes. She put all the information together and will now discuss all of it with the Senior Ophthalmologist. She feels quite sure, based on the the information what has to be done to fix my issue. She is very kind, efficient, soft spoken, makes sure that I understand everything that she is saying. She also had me take short breaks because the positions were hard to hold! I would highly recommend Dr. Logendra for all of your eye needs. She is TOPS!

There are three small sections for glasses after trying on three pairs it was clear to both of us that they didn't have anything for me. Dr. Brown was perfectly nice but I wouldn't go back, especially not during the pandemic.

My consultation went great and I was told I was a great candidate. I went over all of my medical issues (high blood pressure and diabetes). I asked a lot of questions on what to expect the day of the procedure. Made the appt for 3 weeks later. I just moved to Philly so, I used that time to find a new primary care provider who did blood work for my diabetic meds. I had to make arrangements to get coverage at my work which I had to pay for (hotels and flights for the people I was able to get). I prepaid two Uber rides for the day of the procedure ($70) as well as using 2 precious days off. I arrived ahead of time and instead of being brought in for the procedure, I was put in a room with someone who proceeded to do more tests?! The person who conducted my consultation apparently didn't put anything in the file regarding my diabetes. Unreal. The person left to speak to the surgeon and came back after 15 mins to tell me 'sorry, the doc doesn't feel comfortable doing the procedure until he knows what your A1C number is'! What!! A complete waste of time and money. I paid the $1200 down. I have only received $400 of that back so far. Paid for Uber rides. Paid to have work people flown in and housed. What was I offered? A $500 discount if I rescheduled and got the procedure done within 30 days! Are you kidding me?! If I was told that I would need to get test results done I would have during the timeframe between the procedure consultation. I had bloodwork last week! They completely wasted my time and money. I am very surprised with how poorly this went and the lack of guest recovery to make this right. Based on how this went and lack of reconnecting with me or even showing me that I am a valued customer, I won't be rescheduling at this center. Shameful and probably the worst experience I've ever had. So much for being excited about improving my life. In the end, it was basically too bad, we screwed you and will talk to the consultant but, we don't care enough about my time being very valuable. Also be prepared to wait an hour before they see you for your appointment. Money hungry people always also make you come three times for something that can be done in one visit so they can charge for 3 visits. US medical practice for you!
