From the first day I attended PT, I was impressed with the place which is clean and organized. I am much more impressed and pleased with the staff; Pip, Britany, Doctor Sally, Claudia, just to name a few. The staff seems very knowledgeable about the physical exercise treatments and show patience to show me the proper way and why to do all of the exercises. The entire staff is very friendly and professional with us patients and make you feel comfortable attending pt and improve the healing process.

However I had my first appointment and was basically left alone the majority of the visit. They would show quickly me a stretch and walk away to go work on their computer every single time--often before I even performed it once to see if I was doing it correctly. On my first visit someone should have at least observed me doing each of the exercises once to ensure I'm doing them correctly. At the end they said "you're all done" and I had to ask if I should be doing the exercises at home, which ones I should do, and for how long. They said "you could do some of the exercises we taught you at home every other day" and provided zero printout or guidance. I'm not sure if my experience was a fluke, but this was a really disappointing experience.

I stopped going there because I had a side stitch attack that no longer allow me to continue plus the assistant didn't or couldn't do anything about it just to report it. It's very easy to get an appointment there and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The office is clean and there's a lot of equipment. I am receiving therapy here because I had knee surgery. I've been in pain for months and it was a couple of months after I had surgery before my PT was approved. They Physical Therapists have worked with me to rebuild the muscles in my legs. With the exercises in the office along with the exercises that I am supposed to do at home, I'm much stronger and in a lot less pain. I can now take the stairs when I'm out and I can walk much farther. My leg is getting better each day. The only issue that I've had sometimes is parking. It's awful, so allow yourself plenty of time to find parking. There is a parking lot for the medical building, but it's very busy. It's much easier to find parking on the street.

The Norwalk location is a good size and counts with everything you need for your recovery. The only thing missing is a pool for water therapy. However, most people don't need it. I have seen it as they treat the young athletes that come in and the elderly. They are well rounded. The front receptionist Priscilla is also the best! She is very attentive and provides me with all my appointments and reminders. 100% RECOMMENDED.

If I ever had a concern or issue, the front office staff (Denise Ortega) and Debra (social worker) were very responsive and helpful; I have so much appreciation for them! The nurses tended to him on a regular basis by changing his sheets and cleaning his room, giving him sponge baths, changing his diapers, and changing his clothes that I left hanging in his closet. The nurses who had a positive impact on my father were Molina, Monse, Cristina, and a male nurse from Jordan who trimmed my dad's beard. When my dad was discharged, he missed them all so much! The nursing staff gave him medicine on time and Dr. Sharma did a good job of monitoring his symptoms and labs. My dad loves food and not once did he complain about their food, so that was telling for me! The cafeteria staff were always friendly. The physical and occupational therapists were friendly, supportive, and positive with my father; thank you, Claire, Araceli, and Carlos! They were very helpful to him gaining some of his strength back. They had a kitchen, bathroom, and a car in their PT/OT space that allowed my father to practice doing certain things when he returned home.

My father suffers from dementia/confusion following surgery and is considered a high fall risk. Shortly after arrival, we became extremely concerned about the level of supervision, responsiveness, and overall safety precautions in place for vulnerable patients. We had to request additional safety measures ourselves, including bed rails and a floor mattress, because we did not feel comfortable leaving him unattended overnight. I ultimately stayed overnight at the facility myself to help monitor his condition and ensure his safety. What made the situation even more concerning was learning about the facility's recent survey deficiencies while simultaneously witnessing several troubling issues firsthand. The overnight staffing situation appeared overwhelmed, and the environment did not feel appropriate for someone recovering from surgery with cognitive impairment and complex medical needs. Our family has since begun requesting a transfer to another facility because we no longer feel confident this is a safe or appropriate environment for his recovery. I understand healthcare workers are often under difficult conditions, and I appreciate the individual staff members who tried to help, but overall this experience has been heartbreaking and extremely stressful for our family during an already vulnerable time.

They have changed my life and helped relieve pain that I had been dealing with for years, and I am incredibly grateful for the care they provide. Unfortunately, my experience with the billing department has been absolutely appalling. Before beginning treatment, I called my insurance multiple times to confirm that my sessions were covered and that payment would not be an issue. I specifically did my due diligence and made sure I understood my coverage before proceeding. I was also assured by the office that my insurance would cover my sessions. I then completed 20+ sessions based on that information, only to be told afterward, "We've been working so hard to get these claims paid, but insurance isn't paying." I'm sorry, but how is that an acceptable answer after 20+ sessions? I had repeatedly confirmed my coverage with my insurance, and when this issue came up, I made another phone call myself and was able to get the issue resolved. ONE phone call. After everything I had been told, I should not have had to fix this myself. What makes this even more unacceptable is the complete lack of communication. I called the billing department multiple times and left several voicemails, yet no one returned my calls. Director Jonathan was eventually the one who called me and informed me that I would have to pay cash for all of the sessions I had previously been told were covered. His phone etiquette and handling of the conversation were extremely disappointing. When I asked for specific numbers, explanations, and details about what had actually been done to resolve the claims, he could not provide me with clear answers. That is incredibly concerning. If you are the director and you are personally calling a patient to tell them they are suddenly responsible for a significant amount of money, I would expect you to actually have answers and be prepared to explain what happened. After the insurance issue was ultimately resolved, I never heard from Jonathan again. Diana was the one who eventually called me to apologize. I then asked a very reasonable question: What can I do moving forward if I need additional sessions, and what can we do to make sure this never happens again? Her response was that she could not tell me that it wouldn't happen again. Honestly, that response was shocking. After everything that had already happened, being told that there was no assurance this same billing nightmare wouldn't happen again is incredibly disappointing and, quite frankly, unacceptable. Patients should not have to repeatedly verify their own insurance coverage, chase down billing departments, leave unanswered voicemails, resolve insurance issues themselves, and then potentially be blindsided by thousands of dollars in charges. I truly love the clinicians here and cannot say enough good things about the care they provide. They have made a real difference in my life. But the billing department and management have handled this situation so poorly that it has completely changed my experience with this location. The clinical care is 10/10. The billing and management experience? Absolutely unacceptable. Do better.
