They have changed my life and helped relieve pain that I had been dealing with for years, and I am incredibly grateful for the care they provide. Unfortunately, my experience with the billing department has been absolutely appalling. Before beginning treatment, I called my insurance multiple times to confirm that my sessions were covered and that payment would not be an issue. I specifically did my due diligence and made sure I understood my coverage before proceeding. I was also assured by the office that my insurance would cover my sessions. I then completed 20+ sessions based on that information, only to be told afterward, "We've been working so hard to get these claims paid, but insurance isn't paying." I'm sorry, but how is that an acceptable answer after 20+ sessions? I had repeatedly confirmed my coverage with my insurance, and when this issue came up, I made another phone call myself and was able to get the issue resolved. ONE phone call. After everything I had been told, I should not have had to fix this myself. What makes this even more unacceptable is the complete lack of communication. I called the billing department multiple times and left several voicemails, yet no one returned my calls. Director Jonathan was eventually the one who called me and informed me that I would have to pay cash for all of the sessions I had previously been told were covered. His phone etiquette and handling of the conversation were extremely disappointing. When I asked for specific numbers, explanations, and details about what had actually been done to resolve the claims, he could not provide me with clear answers. That is incredibly concerning. If you are the director and you are personally calling a patient to tell them they are suddenly responsible for a significant amount of money, I would expect you to actually have answers and be prepared to explain what happened. After the insurance issue was ultimately resolved, I never heard from Jonathan again. Diana was the one who eventually called me to apologize. I then asked a very reasonable question: What can I do moving forward if I need additional sessions, and what can we do to make sure this never happens again? Her response was that she could not tell me that it wouldn't happen again. Honestly, that response was shocking. After everything that had already happened, being told that there was no assurance this same billing nightmare wouldn't happen again is incredibly disappointing and, quite frankly, unacceptable. Patients should not have to repeatedly verify their own insurance coverage, chase down billing departments, leave unanswered voicemails, resolve insurance issues themselves, and then potentially be blindsided by thousands of dollars in charges. I truly love the clinicians here and cannot say enough good things about the care they provide. They have made a real difference in my life. But the billing department and management have handled this situation so poorly that it has completely changed my experience with this location. The clinical care is 10/10. The billing and management experience? Absolutely unacceptable. Do better.

The staff was great and professional, and appreciated that they made an effort to help me feel comfortable. My therapist was Dr. Paolo Leonardo, DPT, and he was phenomenal. He's incredibly knowledgeable, and was consistently attentive and helpful with his care and exercise plans. I'm so grateful for the progress I made while in therapy, and for the level of care that I got from Dr. Leonardo and the rest therapy staff. I worked a lot with Chris too, who was very friendly and diligent during our sessions to make sure I made good progress. A big kudos to the front desk staff as well. My health insurance plan can be a little complicated. The front desk staff was great; I had no billing issues, and they always kept me updated on whatever I needed to know. I'd definitely recommend this facility!

The premises and equipment are kept spotlessly clean. It is the front desk/office/insurance/appointment personnel who need a revamp. They are overwhelmed and undertrained, which leaves a negative impression overall on patients receiving care. Unfortunately, this facility consists of one room that encompasses patient care and front desk personnel: those in the pool or on exercise equipment hear phone conversations, health issues of patients, money collection disagreements, and personal conversations between employees. They are in way over their heads and shuffle blame off to absent "higher ups" when a situation arises. It is obviously a training/policy internal problem. In this day and of technology and instant communication, insurance issues go unanswered for weeks. When out of pocket and deductibles have been met for the year and there is zero co pay due per visit, staff refuses to adjust paperwork and becomes defensive to the point of being argumentative. Those who make decisions are located elsewhere and are unexplainable unresponsive to the calls from insurance companies and patients. Able Physical Therapy is a chain operation and customer service and professionalism are sorely lacking. The front office and phone sets the tone for any business. Enough said! I cannot, in good faith, recommend Able Physical Theraoy to community members.

However I had my first appointment and was basically left alone the majority of the visit. They would show quickly me a stretch and walk away to go work on their computer every single time--often before I even performed it once to see if I was doing it correctly. On my first visit someone should have at least observed me doing each of the exercises once to ensure I'm doing them correctly. At the end they said "you're all done" and I had to ask if I should be doing the exercises at home, which ones I should do, and for how long. They said "you could do some of the exercises we taught you at home every other day" and provided zero printout or guidance. I'm not sure if my experience was a fluke, but this was a really disappointing experience.
