I haven't been with optimum dental very long but from what I can tell it's nice, clean, friendly and they don't try to over charge you.

The staff treats everyone like family, and they consistently go out of their way to accommodate individual needs and make patients feel comfortable. Before making a decision based solely on someone else's perspective, I encourage you to visit Dr. Swart and the team for yourself. In my experience, they are among the best dental offices around. Their compassion, professionalism, and commitment to patient care truly stand out. Highly recommended!

I haven't even seen these people and already they were difficult and the receptionist gave me a lot of attitude and instead of saying "we understand and have a good day bye" she said "I agree" when I just said it isn't a good fit at this time. This lady has no business running an office . I usually try to refrain from leaving bad reviews but I have to let people know this happened so others don't experience this. I'm really sad . My therapist recommended them and I can't use them now. If I am spoken to like a 3 year old over the phone, I can only begin to imagine what my in person experience would've been. Not The place for autistic people as they interpret every tone of voice that is a lower tone to be someone upset with them and they make commands like they're training a dog with you.

If you want a great dental office I highly recommend this one. I had a bad experience with another…read moredental office and was referred here by a friend. I am so glad I made the switch. My last dentist did not have a care in the world for his patients and did not introduce himself and the office did not communicate to me very well regarding expenses and dental plans. The hygienist escalated the situation only to create this fear of my teeth falling out if I don't follow through with a deep cleaning that she suggested. I felt a rock being lifted off my chest. I spoke to Sara to schedule an appointment and told her I needed a second opinion for what needed to be done. She took the time to explain that they were in-network with my insurance and even went the extra mile to suggest to me that I could wait a few more days so that my insurance will cover the cost of my visit since the 6 month mark was coming up. From that moment I knew that they were very personable, honest, professional, and reasonable - which are things that are VERY important to me. My first visit from the moment I walked in, the staff was very welcoming and each person introduced themselves. The last place, the dentist kept checking his watch, rushed, and did not even tell me his name. I had the pleasure of meeting Sara, Alex, Rebecca, and Dr. Durden who made this experience such an amazing experience. I really trusted their opinion and appreciate the sincerity they offered unlike the previous experience I had. For people who fear the dentist office, I promise you the staff here will make you feel comfortable because you're in good hands. Dr. Durden was completely honest and explained things to me in a way that did not completely baffle me or freak me out - and he just has the best personality ever! He assured me that my teeth were not going to fall out and took a different approach compared to the previous hygienist's opinion. I love that your options are clear cut because they care enough to make sure you understand as well. Rebecca did an amazing job on doing my full mouth debridement, my gums were feeling so much better within the week of having them done. Dr. Durden gave me a clear path to what the plan was to get back everything back on track. So SO SO glad I made the decision to come here. I am very impressed and satisfied with this dental office!

New in town, hard to know how to choose the right dentist…read more When I called Triangle Family Dentistry on Carpenter Fire Station Road, I spoke to a gentleman who was so assuring that Dr. Smith would be a great match with my particular needs. So first visit Ashley was awesome with my periodontal cleaning ( I get those 4x per year) She was gentle, knowledgeable, kind, professional and efficient! I met my dentist, Matt and asked about a couple crowns. He assured he could do it and today he did, with the assistance of Mia! I believe it was the smoothest crown work I've ever had. I never even felt a needle go in for the numbing. I had a particularly difficult kind of old crown to take off but he was completely confident and I felt very comfortable the whole time. Ashley, Mia, and Matt were very attentive to my neck problems and made sure I was comfortable through both those procedures. The facility itself is just gorgeous. There is a grand of coffee in the lobby. Plus water. Lobby comfy, roomy, and well furnished. Receptionists, check out staff, everyone professional and kind. I am thrilled to have found my dental care providers! Parking is at a premium, but a few more yards to walk is not a big deal!

The first dentist I saw said I have a filling that needed to be replaced. I got that done, and everything was ok, except it was difficult to floss with the new filling. The next time I started having sharp pains in a tooth, and pointed to the tooth I thought was causing the issue. This dentist said no, it was the tooth behind it that needed a filling. My pain did not go away at all after that filling, and they came up with a list of future procedures that they said I needed to get done. I decided I did not want to go back. I found a new dentist that is covered by my insurance. I went in today for my first appointment, and the dentist showed me a picture of a crack in the tooth that I had originally pointed out at Triangle Family Dentistry and didn't mention anything else I needed to get done. I really feel that TFD was trying to set me up for spending money on procedures that I didn't need, and didn't take care of the issue that I did have, that I pointed out to them.
