I have had great care at Triangle Family Dentistry in the past... but I don't appreciate being put on hold when I call to make an appointment or ask about a billing questions. Good care as usual but terrible on billing and letting patients know the truth before a procedure. I was lied to about medical coverage for a stupid apnea guard. Told everything was covered and in-network. They even had to do a prior auth. And then sent the order to another provider, you guessed it, out of network. So, they send me a bill for several thousand dollars with no other contact. Like it's no big deal. Billing is kinda like, eh, nothing we can or will do now. Just awful business practices. I can guarantee I won't be back unless they come up with a fix. I hate to change but things like this are what ends businesses and rightfully so. It seems to be going downhill fast. read more

Been going here for years always the sweetest staff! shout out to Christian for making me feel so comfortable!

My teenage son recently started going to this dental office in Morrisville for routine cleanings and a crown procedure. Unfortunately, he was late to his crown appointment, and instead of working with him or showing any understanding, the office refused to fit him into the schedule and imposed a $150 charge. I spoke with the office manager, Christina, to try and resolve the issue. Unfortunately, she was dismissive, lacked empathy, and seemed unconcerned about the situation--a disappointing experience for any parent. Everyone runs late sometimes, and it's discouraging to see no grace extended, especially to a young patient. After looking into other reviews, I've noticed a pattern of similar complaints. If you or your family value flexibility, understanding, or decent customer service, I would recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Front-end assistant's lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I arrived on time, 15 minutes before my appointment made 6 months ago, and it appears that they canceled due to a no confirmation. This is not the first time that an African American thick woman with glasses has been dismissive towards me. She lacks etiquette and professionalism in treating patients. She was making coffee when asked that I had not been called after 20 minutes. Didn't bother to stop doing her coffee instead ask another one to check for my appointment. Supervisor or manager no where to be found nor called like the assistant said. Sadly you lost another patient. read more

These guys are complete crooks. They try and up charge you for cleaning and things you don't need but won't let you decline when you tell them you don't want the up charges your insurance won't pay for BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT NECESSARY. So I am typically terrified of the dentist - yet today.... This experience was top tier. As a millennial I appreciate efficiency and transparency whenever I visit any kind of business. Although they were busy at the time of my scheduled appointment - I came in, filled my paperwork out and was seen RIGHT at the time of my scheduled appointment. (HUGE PLUS) My dental hygienist was sincerely a gift from God, the universe, whatever deity you chose to believe in - she exceeded my expectations. She was gentle, she was personable, she was knowledgeable and she also made me feel better about being terrified of the dentist. (She also verified my benefits prior to doing any services - If you know, you know). My dentist was GREAT on top of that. (Shout out to no cavities!!) Anyways - great dentist, transparent, quick and the vibe was nice. 10/10 recommend. read more

If by any chance you are disabled/ a wheelchair user, please do not visit this practice. They discriminate against wheelchair users. My family has been going to this office since we moved to the area in 2018. The first time I made this appointment, I told them he was in a wheelchair and could not transfer, and they said it was not a problem. He has had various procedures done at this location, and we never had a problem. The hygienist who saw him simply moved the chair around to accommodate him. The last time we were there, I had called some days earlier to make sure they knew he could not transfer from his chair, and they said sure, come in. We got there in the morning, and they shuffled to find a room. After the X-ray, a dentist came in and said their office was not equipped to handle my husband's care anymore. And proceeded to offer us a referral to look for a different dentist and made sure all their locations were taken off the referral. According to the dentist, he said he wasn't the one making this decision; it was " management." When we told him we had cleanings done there in the past, he said oh well, then that shouldn't be an issue. At that point, we just felt so disappointed, and we left. My husband felt horrible. I can understand if their office is tiny, but this office we were in was huge and could accommodate four wheelchairs, and my husband's chair could tilt, so the hygienist didn't have to stand on their feet to clean his teeth. But I guess wheelchair users are an inconvenience , and they would rather see only non-disabled people. I guess quick turn around of their rooms, equals more money. If their policy had changed on seeing individuals in wheelchairs, they should have informed me on the day I called instead of finding childcare for my children, taking him all the way there to be told they couldn't provide service to him. They handled that situation badly and it's sad your office treats individuals with disabilities this way. read more

From the front of house staff to Dr. Jonathan Boes to my wonderful, professional, knowledgeable, informative, and personable hygentist, MILLER, I had the best dentist visit in over 60 years. Really hate writing this review because I've been going to the Morrisville location of Triangle Family Dentistry for the last 8-10 years or so, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive up until now. Even after I moved to the other side of town, I was willing to drive half an hour out of the way to continue seeing the dentists here. But last year, I received Invisalign treatment and paid off my bill for it in November. Come January, I received a surprise bill for an extra $1200 - no call, no email, no text, just an automated statement that I suddenly owed them over a thousand more dollars after closing out my account. I spent months trying to work with them or to at least get an explanation for why my paid off treatment suddenly had a new price tag. I called them, I asked multiple people about it when I was in the office, I went to my insurance, I asked if I had been accidentally charged for the wrong treatment. I was told multiple times someone from their billing team would reach out and talk to me directly about this, but the most I received was a voicemail "confirming that the additional $1200 was my responsibility" from a receptionist. That's it. Eventually I had to engage a third party, who also spent months trying to get them to respond to calls. After all of that, I didn't get someone from their finance team to tell me that their quote had been incorrect until 7 months later, and to even get that much I still had to ask them directly to explain it to me. During this time, I also found out they hadn't been accounting for over $200 I had paid them last year and had to ask for that to be included in my statement (which took several more weeks), so even their blind bill was an overcharge. And I also had to directly ask what had happened with that, because nobody from their office thought I deserved the courtesy of an explanation for that, either. It was very clear during this interaction that they either do not respect their patients or their internal communication is so poor you'll be left to feel that way regardless. The bottom line is that if you're lucky enough to never receive an incorrect quote or billing issue, the dentists themselves are great - I've had fillings, emergency root canals, crowns, orthodontics, and my wisdom teeth removed at this location. But being given the runaround by their billing personnel - who knew before I ever received that bill why it was being sent out but still let me run around for 7 months trying to "solve the mystery" - has left such a poor taste in my mouth, that I will not be going back. I would encourage anyone getting more than your standard cleaning done here to engage directly with your insurance to verify a quote before agreeing to any service at all with them. They have no problem blindly billing you the extra without notice, and they're all happy to leave you in the dark for months about why -- but they certainly will make sure they get their money out of you in the end. read more

Scheduled a basic cleaning appt two months in advance for my two sons - 3 and 10. We have a Delta Dental plan that is in-network. Arrived the morning of the appt to be told our insurance was not on file or verified so we would have to pay out of pocket and be reimbursed. I have never had this experience at any other dental office for a basic cleaning. They actually request your dental insurance info when u schedule an appt and verify it before you arrive. I am confident that I provided our insurance info when scheduling the appointment. We are new to the area, I was looking to find a dentist closer to our home in Morrisville. Well, this is not the place. I immediately cancelled and we will return to the dental office in Apex that we were going to and I will find a dental office in Morrisville that has a better new client experience. read more

The dentist, hygienist and dentist were good, but the technician struggled with the X-ray machine, causing a lot of discomfort for my kid. Despite being told that the machine wasn't emitting radiation, I knew that wasn't true. It turned out that there was an issue with the connectivity/cable between the X-ray machine and the computer, but the X-ray machine was functioning. read more

At the time of my appointment, the practice's actual Covid-19 safety measures were not aligned with those listed on their website. Their site claims that employees are to wear masks and that sanitizer is available at the entrance to be used upon arrival and departure. During my visit, I spotted two employees in public areas not wearing masks, and I didn't see sanitizer at the office entrance. I was also displeased that the dentistry also did not enforce its mask policy with patients. In the waiting room, two children were not wearing masks and their parent was barely wearing one with it hanging below her nose. I've been to a different doctor's office where the covid-19 protocol was much stricter and I felt much safer. With lives at stake, it's better for businesses to err on the side of precaution. read more

Refusing service when a patient needs help is not acceptable. A patient should be able to pay for and have the treatment they need and can afford at the time. Strong arm tactics to extort money from patients and insurance companies is not acceptable. Shame on them and any healthcare organization that resorts to these measures. read more

Our family has been going to TFD for about 5 years. Everyone is always nice and very informative about taking care of your teeth or other services they offer. My last visit I saw Fernanda for my cleaning, and Dr. Short for the check up. If I could give a negative review I would. My husband and I went there and they were so inappropriate in how the addressed us. They let us stand in the waiting area until they had their s&%(t together to acknowledge that me and another patient was ready for checking in. The dentist tried to charge me for over $750 of dental work that wasn't needed as per another local 2 dentists. Don't GO THERE! The front desk people talk in "sing song" and were just rude. I tried to speak with the office manager and after many phone calls (Christina) the office manager finally said my husband and I are bring dismissed. Thank GOD! I will continue to give them bad reviews! Don't go there. They wanted to do over $750 of dental work and the new dentist I found only is charging me for about $100 of a cavity which coincides with my past dentist in Flowers. read more
