My previous manicure was clear. There were remnants of clear polish on my nail bed. The manicurist didn't remove the clear polish with polish remover. She filed the polish away in stead and painted over the remaining polish. I didn't make a fuss. It's barely noticeable since the polish is clear. However removal of the polish should be a given. I still topped 20 percent.
