Worst experience ever. The way out was perfect but the return was a nightmare.. The reason I booked a towncar was to destress my getaway with my husband. I paid $129.00 ($89 + $40 for milage ) for their horrible service amd i need to share this with you so no one makes that same miatake. We returned from am exhauting sleepless 5 days in Las Vegas to find the driver wasn't waiting at the airport for our prearranged pick up. 30 minutes of calling emailing and texting from myself and my husband before we get a response. Then excuses . Then another 40 minute wait before a driver arrives to pick us up. No towncar for our return but a Buick with poor suspension for a bumpy ride in a less than classy car.. The driver expected us to walk to where he chose to pull up at the airport and bring our bags to him. Not difficult but I paid for this service and expected "opulent " service. Not once did they offer to make this right or compensate nor offer a discount for what they admitted was their fault. I will never use this service again. Also i plan to report them to the BBB, file a complaint with Amazon Local deals and let everyone I know what terrible service this husiness offers. read more

We used this service for the first time a few months ago based on a deal we found and LOVED the car service. I live in Pasadena and getting to/from LAX can be quite a hassle. The scheduling process was easy and ROGER was a great driver (friendly, professional) and drove a nice and comfortable vehicle (even had candy and water waiting for us). I have since purchased two more deals (lucky to have found them) and have shared the company with my friends in the area, so it was time to write up a review on yelp. On June 1, 2015 and June 7, 2015 we needed transportation to and from the airport. Opulent Transportation is the best service I have had. Roger (driver) was the nicest person. Opulent Transportation offered a deal on Amazon Local for round trip transportation to/from LAX for $89. We bought the voucher, then followed the instructions to redeem it. We left a detailed message on their voicemail as requested. They never called back. I then sent an email to them with the details of our flights to arrange for the pickup/drop off. Again no response. I called another phone number on their website trying to arrange the ride. A week later, still no response. I called Amazon Local and got a refund for the voucher. read more

I got a great deal on Groupon for round trip airport transportation. Booking was simple and painless. But here's the best part. On the day of my return, I changed my flight and was going to be returning more than FIVE HOURS earlier than originally booked. I called Cleo as I was about to board my flight in Florida, and she told me she would work on making the change. We've used Opulent twice now. The first time, upon our return, LAX was jammed. But Roger was on time and found us in the chaos. The second time we were leaving on a holiday weekend and the freeways were jammed. Roger navigated surface streets and got us to LAX in plenty of time. The cars are always clean and water is provided - a thoughtful touch after an overseas flight. Roger is a very nice man with an excellent knowledge of how to get around LA. Never, never will I use this service again. Not only did it take 3 phone calls (after 2 incorrect emails to confirm my reservation for roundtrip to LAX) to get everything straight..... Seems it was just toooooo complicated to figure out when one is picked up at 9 PM and leaves at 12:15 AM, that is not the same date. And then one arrives at the airport on the return flight at 12:49 AM that it is also another date than when I left Miami at 9pm the evening before arriving early at LAX shortly after midnight. Then trying to charge me an "after hours rate" after the 2nd email that was incorrect, but they said that was i n "error".Anyhow, the biggest and worst issue was they were not there to pick us up on our return. The driver had told us to wait outside of baggage pickup and he would be there. I told him the email instructions said that I was to call the number provided. "No need to do that. We have all your information". So when our plane arrived 9 minutes early, and we only had carry ons, we were in front of baggage claim before we were expected to be there. But no driver or sedan to pick us up. And after 7 phone calls to a recording, which stated that if no one answers, for us to call "the office number", (who believes there is someone at "the office" at 1 AM in the morning ?) when I was totally positive he was never showing up I called that office number about 5 times ! Finally someone answered the "office" number and told me "he was there, we're not coming back, take a cab" and hung up on me! Do not use this service under any circumstances. There was another couple with 2 teenagers that this happened to also, but with a different limo/sedan service, Evidently this is a big scam that is happening at LAX nowadays. BEWARE ! read more
